    I have wanted to go to this restaurant for ages and when we booked it for my birthday and Father’s Day I was excited. When we arrived i changed my mind about sitting outside and instead asked to be seated in doors. The manager looked disgruntled. Sat down the waiter was lovely - couldn’t fault him! Very chatty and friendly with the kids Drinks too a lifetime to arrive after ordering. Food order - the kids wanted just a plain burger with just cheese and ketchup. Not that hard to get wrong. Food came My daughter had a double burger with ketchup and cheese and my son got a burger with everything on it. We apologised and say to the waitress my son won’t eat that. It was then taken back to the kitchen. Then a female - looked like a manager came to the table with the burger and abruptly asked why we had sent it back and what was wrong with the burger? We told her we needed it plain with just cheese She looked kind of angry We then got another burger out and it was exactly the same The waitress took it back and then my son waited for another one to be cooked We had all finished our meals by this point and my son was struggling to keep patience and was hungry. The waiter asked us why he didn’t have his meal and we told him He said he made it quite clear to the kitchen why we needed and we believed him as he read it out to us before taking it to the kitchen The meal was ruined and we had all ahead enough by this point We were soo upset that the night had been ruined We all felt deflated The waiter took off the meal from the bill but with service charge the bill was still expensive for what we had been put through on the evening It has definitely made us think twice about going back.

    Arrived and was a nice welcome. Shown to our table again lovely view across Norwich even on a rainy day. Ordered a Moretti and cider but we received two differnt ciders, our starter was forgotten about as tables next to us who arrived after were already on their mains! So that was late. I had the burger which came with normal chips not truffle parmezan like the menu said, so that was disappointing. No one came over to ask how our food was until after we had it. Had desserts which were both very nice. But my partner had a beer, the right one this time, and was finishing it while paying but as soon as we paid the waiter took the beer before he could finish it! We had visited before ayear or so ago and the service was 10/10 shame to see that it's not a good as it was.

    Brilliant friendly staff. Very noisy, and air con was very cold. Food was very lovely though. Definitely would go back.

    Music too loud for number of diners but this was addressed quickly and efficiently. Unsightly stain on furniture. Food good and service attentive. View not as good as anticipated.

    I clicked on “Bottomless brunch” booking on Rooftop terrace website but when I was redirected to OpenTable and booked table on Sunday it didnt specify that it wasn’t a Bottomless brunch anymore because they dont do it on Sundays. Very disappointing that its not very clear on Open table booking. Beef roast was ruined by gravy’s slimy texture and beef was almost raw. Some staff is not very welcoming, but our waiter was good and helped to replace uncooked fish.

    The time between our starter and main was about 45 minutes, and then it took another 45 minutes for our main plates to be cleared from the table after finishing, no one offered us another drink, or a dessert. The chips came out cold. Our waitress was lovely but quite clearly under too much pressure. Wouldn’t recommend…

    What a fabulous place with great ambience! A little pricey for small plates but the cocktails were excellent. Would definitely recommend.
