the view is wonderful but aside from that everything is so so. the service is very slow and we had to get the attention of other servers to follow up or order additional items for our table. the food is way over priced and over cooked. i ordered steak medium but what i got was well done. i didn’t complain since i dont want to waste food. the beignets were nothing compared to what i had in new orleans. its just blah.
Food was mediocre but the ambiance is ok. Service was slow
I came here with my fiancé and we both agreed we wouldn't want to come back probably ever. The drinks were great since they were so strong. It would have been definitely worth it had we only gone for that. The food was pretty to look at, but it all tasted dry and as if it was just cooked on high heat to get it out quickly. Service wasn't terrible but it really wasn't great. Felt pretty much ignored and when we were acknowledged the attitude we got was they didn't want to be there.
The food was so good! Loved the truffle Mac as well as the lamb chops. The drinks were delicious! Mark was our server and he was fantastic throughout the whole night. Will be returning!
Our food was delayed for almost an hour due to an error in the kitchen/ordering process. The staff was apologetic and made efforts to correct the error and apologize. Mistakes happen and I was pleased with their efforts to correct the issue. Thank you for your kind staff.
The overall ambience of the rooftop was great. We were sat down very fast. The only thing I have have negative to say is that the service was not good. We had to go through 3 different servers, and we would only get checked up on every 40 minutes. We wanted our dinner to only be around an hour in half. It took more than two in a half hours to finally get all the items we ordered and the check.
I had a reservation and we waited more than an hour for our table, but the waiter served us excellent, very friendly and helpful
Don’t waste your time here. Not worth the $$$ for the mediocre service & cafeteria microwaved food. Brought my husband and father in law here to celebrate Father’s Day. We all ordered the Sunday Brunch and everything came out very slow, cold, and not in uniform time. Tastes like pre-cooked reheated food, the only dish I liked out of the 10 courses was the ceviche. Everything else was left pretty much untouched. Salmon tasted like old canned tuna, chicken was dry and under seasoned and ahi tartare tasted old as well - not fresh. Even the water glasses had food particles floating in it! The waiter was very rushed - possibly a staffing issue? We did not get any utensils brought to us for quite some time after we started getting our food, some a la carte items we ordered never made it out to us and they STILL tried to bill us for them. The waiter didn’t have any table side manners. His idea of taking an order - “you need to pick now what you want to order from brunch menu.” He did not come to check if we need anything or how things were going. Father’s Day ruined, will never come back to this place or recommend it. Wish we would have walked out from the first course that came to our table. Time and money NOT well spent.
You might like this restaurant. I didn’t though because a lot of the red spice they use on the rim of glasses at the bar was stuck to my drinking glass, the water decanters and the utensils. For me, that’s nasty, and I wanted to leave but didn’t want to ruin our day by complaining about it. Add to that it took too long to get our table even with a reservation, the food was just ok, and the service was slow, so it’s not worth it in my opinion. Needs new management.
They sat 4 of us at a table that will only hold 2 plates. We asked for our waiter and for the hostess to remedy the situation twice because the food and the bottle we ordered just simply won’t fit. It came to a point where the busboy had to hold on to one of our dishes because there isn’t any room at all. To no avail some 20 mins passed, We had to fetch our waiter ourselves from the hostess because the situation was impossible to deal with. I understand they get busy but a customer should not have to look around the restaurant for their waiter. The taretare and fries were good as for the chilaquiles I can’t judge as it had been sitting under the warmer since it couldn’t fit on our table so it came out not so fresh anymore.
Ugh, hopefully we just caught them on a bad day but the service was terrible (water glasses left empty, drinks taking half the meal, lack of communication from the server). Food was tasty, though the main dishes were cold by the time they got to our table. Half our table was shaded, half in the HOT direct sun. Overall, did not meet our expectations and was not worth the pricey fee for the 10 course brunch…
The food was amazing! We both loved the time!
The service is very good, the ambiance and the view ins worth the visit. But there’s something weird about the beer and the drinks. They don’t have so many options for beers and I didn’t like the drinks I ordered.
The food was ok but nothing to be remembered.
We had a great time. The view was great and the service from Urban was great. The ambiance was great and my guest enjoyed themselves.
I had high hopes for this spot but was let down and will not be returning. I ordered the seasonal fruit plate with tajin, and received a bowl of honeydew, cantaloupe, and a few mediocre blueberries - not even close to worth the $12 price point. They charge $5 for a cup of coffee, and $5 every time they refill it. I ordered the 3-egg breakfast burrito and it came with maybe 1 scrambled egg inside. The menu did not reflect the food we got, the service was apathetic, and the price point was not worth it for the food or experience. Will be going to Perch next time.
Wasn’t seated until 40 minutes after our reservation.
Good food and drinks, but the service was incredibly slow. 30 minutes after being seated, no one had showed up at our table to take our order or even so much as bring us water. The hostess ended up having to come over and help us out, and she was amazing and essentially became our server for the night. The location and vibe are really great, and the food and drinks were great, but I won't go back until the service situation has improved significantly.
Drinks were amazing. Get the zombie fr it’s the best if u want a sexy buzz.
Food was great. We enjoyed our meal. I don't think the seating arrangement or decor is strong enough. It needs to be augmented in some way.
Our server Gina was dreadful. She almost ruined our dinner. She took forever to bring our drinks serval times and even forgot our order a couple of times. People around were served despite arriving after us. The food was excellent and great lication
I had a reservation and I still had to wait for about 25min which I was not happy at all about. I had a birthday but there was no special celebration what so ever. The server was rude he kept coming not even one hour in and telling us that he needed the table when obviously we still had time we were still eating and there were other tables who came way before us still sitting. I was not happy overall. Our table was close to the bar and The bartender kept yelling and each time he scares me, out of no where he starts screaming idk what he would say and no one said anything to him.
great setting among rooftops downtown; trendy millennial crowd; service good; food okay; cocktails good. Not exceptional but fun :)
Great and welcoming.
Absolutely amazing our waiter was very attentive
food was extremely overpriced and mediocre at best.
This is LA... a gorgeous rooftop spot to really feel like a cool Angelino. All it needs is a little TLC. The food was good, but, it's clear they are still scaling back up. Our waitress was harried and forgot the basics like utensils, but, she had a lot of tables. The venue is a bit run down; some loose tiles, weeds growing in the planter boxes and chipped water glasses.
We had a great time
The choice of appetizers is amazing - no matter your taste. Tacos, lamb chops and corn is a must. Mac and Cheese goes fast. And the location cannot be beat. Can't wait to go back.
Very cool spot. Great bar scene with engaging bartenders. Eating area in the back is fun but out of sight from staff and activity.
The charcuterie was very expensive for a very small amount of food and in total we got 3 crackers for the whole spread which wasn’t logistically enough. The ambiance was enjoyable and the server was very friendly.
It was a fairly good experience!
It was great afternoon catching up with friends. The atmosphere was great and our waitress Carin was awesome. She was super friendly and made sure we didn’t get dehydrated on cocktails by keeping our water glasses full.
We all got the burger and beignets. It was D Licious!!
Great place and service!
The food was amazing but our server was either overworked or just didn’t know what he was doing. We went for the brunch experience and the courses staggered and he even forgot to start us with the first drink which was amazing. It took a bit longer than we expected to dine even after they told us tables were only good for an hour and a half. The view was ok. Would be back for drinks however.
Please was nice. Food was good beignets were delicious. At bit over prices but recommend it for the experience
I highly recommend to go here. The service was excellent and the hosts were friendly! Jennifer was awesome and Oscar was our server and he was good too! Thank you for making our experience so wonderful!! Wish the good items were larger and more vegan options but overall good.
Due to shortage of workers every thing was delayed.
There is not much of choice of food for us. The place is nice and the people are great. However it’s not worth it for us to drive all the way.
Amazing! Anna was Fab! the 10 course brunch blew my mind! Thoughtful, playful and delicious!!! Every course was on point!(Mango Jell-O shot! OMG!) xo
Hostess Jennifer was fantastic above and beyond made it fantastic for my party of 3 from New Jersey
