Great experience! Loved our server and his recommendations. Awesome!
We came to celebrate a birthday and a college graduate, I made sure to put that in the reservation notes. The host was polite and the other servers were polite. Our server was even polite, while having terrible service. We came on a slow day, Sunday morning/afternoon. I counted 8 tables in total, and our server only had two, with one being us. We were super polite and friendly, some of us being servers ourselves made sure to be the perfect guest
Great food and service. The chill yet upscale vibe was perfect for my brothers bday celebration.
Food wasn’t the best
Food was good I will go back for sure.
It was tight
Definitely the place to go to! I will surely be back to bring my friends!
The food was really good. Pricey but good. The server Saviour has outstanding customer service . Very attentive and polite. The wait was long even tho I had made a reservation. But over all it was a good experience.
Server was patient and attentive, roof top views were nice for sunset. I brought my family here while they were visiting from out of state and we all had a great time.
Have dined here for Bruch and Dinner. Must be good because we keep going back.
I made reservations here for my boyfriend’s birthday brunch, and the pictures looked so nice! I wanted to take him out to a nice place, and I thought we had found it, but I was VERY wrong. This is a hotel pool bar. NOT a nice restaurant. We sat down and within 2 minutes, the server came to bring us water and asked us what we wanted to eat. No drink order or anything, just immediately food. We asked for more time to look over the menu and he came back twice in the 5 minutes after that, trying to take our food order. We ended up leaving without ordering anything because I was enraged by the service and the misleading Open Table description. I have worked in the restaurant industry for years and I was astonished by the atmosphere and service. I had to put a credit card down in order to make the reservation and was told if I had to make any changes or I canceled, I would be charged a fee. We ended up getting takeout from a pizza place and it completely ruined the day. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are just looking for a very casual quick drink.
I was pleasantly surprised by Rooftop at Wayfarer. I will say it was priced a little to high for what it was. I'd go again and recommend to a fair, but with the caveat it's pricey for a standard menu.
The food is subpar. Not worth the price. The service was amazing however.
I didn’t eat any food and the survey won’t let me skip the question. The drinks were tasty and the staff was nice. It was a busy night for them. The patio was spaced out nicely but all of the tables were full. We had a reservation so we didn’t have any problems being seated. My only complaint would be that one of the food servers/bartenders had a mask on that was too big. She was social and friendly to customers and co-workers but she kept messing with her mask as it repeatedly slipped down. It bothered me but it might not bother others.
beautiful location, however I may have expected more of the skyline but nonetheless beautiful. Food and service was extremely good.
Amazing food and service definitely will be returning!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and the service. Our waiter, Savior was so attentive and he remembered me from a previous visit.
I'm looking forward to my next visit!
The view was amazing and the food was delicious. Our server was very friendly as well! Loved the experience!
Have only been for weekend brunch - Fills up very quickly on weekends - lots of covid safe seating options - all servers are masked and disinfectant is plentiful. The views from here are great - it is a fairly narrow, long establishment so everybody gets the same view. The menu is not large, and has some interesting items on it. We had the beignets which were okay but freshly cooked. and the Chilaquiles were excellent with a soy base. I think this would be a great place to take in a sunset. Nearby parking garage was only $6 on weekends. All in all a very pleasurable experience!.
We made this reservation because it was our 3 year wedding anniversary and I wrote that in the comments for reservation . The hostess tried to seat us in a dark cave corner w absolutely no view . I asked if she had something better she said every one came at the same time before us . How rude then why make the reservation at all?if I can just walk in and and get a better table ! We ended up having to wait for a better table waited about 15 min . The food was horrible it gave me a stomach ache. I had the tonga tacos . I would not come back here for the food-only the view . The tables have a two hour limit so they basically kick you out at the hour 45 mark. And that they don’t disclose to you until they’re kicking you out
We had reservations got sat quickly but waited 20-30 min for someone to finally take our order. Good cans in perfect time but then again we never saw the server again we only got served drinks once no refills. Place is amazing view is perfect just waiter service was very poor. Will be back hope it was just a off day.
I like it but a bit overpriced! I love the vibe! The food wasn't superior, but was ok.
Did not have any white wine and no heaters were available other than gas fire pits.
I didn’t know that order food was mandatory in order to be in the place, I was drinking and they told me that I had to order food as well so I can stay in the table
Came here to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. It was a very cold day, I asked if they can turn on the heaters. They said no because it's out of gas. Okay fine. We placed orders for drinks, a carafe of sangria, because they were out of mimosas. Okay fine. We ordered the food the same time: the rooftop burger, ahi tuna tartar, holy shrimp and grits, beignets, and the charcuterie.
The server asked my daughter what she wanted to drink and I said "no, kids drinks please. Shirley temple". "she said a non alcoholic one?
?" "YES, she is 12!" !!!!!!!!
Wow, took forever just to bring the sangria, coca-cola and pineapple juice. She brings as each a glass for the sangria and handed one to my 12 year old daughter. Uhhhhh what?! 20 minutes just for the drinks. Then the food took even longer and longer, one by one took awhile. So draining. Then asked for two mango hard seltzers and a coffee. She brought the seltzers and coffee. We asked if we can get half and half and sugar. NOTHING... she forgot to bring it and the coffee got cold!!! Then another sever came named Savior, oh wow, he was great! He brought my mom new coffee, creamer, and sugar! He even sang a happy birthday song to her, he was the only thing great during this visit. Only reason there are stars because he made my mom smile and he was great!
Even the bill took a long time! It was not even crowded.
Food was mediocre, it was okay, nothing special. Will definitely not come back. I really wanted to like this place too!
Incredible view at night, the food was excellent, drinks were unique, and the ambiance was perfect for date night. Would come back again!
Everything was great until the end of our experience. Our waiter was fantastic, but then had to go on break, once he left, service became extraordinarily slow (to be fair — it did look as though business picked up and got busy). It was very windy that day,
Pretty bad service and cold food
No complaints, only thing missing is more options on menu
It was wonderful!!! Very well decorated. The view is fantastic. The service very nice and the food well done!!
Food was decent. Service was subpar. Had to battle for water refills and the waiter forgot to place one of our order. Value for the experience was marginal.
I visited from Charlotte & I found this place online. I absolutely loved it & the food was amazing. Definitely will be returning.
This place was amazing. My gf and I enjoyed the view, the music, the burger I ordered and the chicken tinga tacks. Along with the drinks and ambience.
kinda overpriced, not many drink mixes, & i didn’t get a cup, my friends did, but I had to ask for one. customer service was okay. i asked for some best selling drinks and the waiter didnt seem confident in knowing the menu
Our drinks took 40 minutes to come out, staff was super unorganized. Gave us the wrong check at first. Fortunately they left an appetizer off our check and didn't charge us for it.
Booked the table on OpenTable but when I came checking in, the lady said that they did not have any tables available and there were many reservations in front of us. It just doesn't make sense to have the table available on the app but not in reality.
Quite and the view was great
Will be back. Maria Jose was outstanding with her service. A big asset to this wonderful establishment.
The view is beautiful and ambience is great but the food selection is not great at all. I’m sure there’s someone else to get the same or better view but with better food.
Hidden gem in DTLA! Had brunch there with a group of friends -- enjoyed all menu items and especially the carafes of champagne.
