Friends in from around the country!
We came to The Rooftop with a group of 8 women on an annual girls trip. We made our reservation well in advance which was simple and clearly outlined all the details. There are food and drink minimums so it is important to read the details. We were seated on time and ready to have some fun. The weather was chilly but the igloo was nice and warm inside. We had enough room for the 8 of us to eat on our laps and pass things around. Our server was great! She explained all the drinks and made great recommendations. We ordered basically 1 of everything on the menu and began a very fun, happy experience. The only thing I would suggest is that the menu needs to expanded a bit. I will say that the burger was fantastic!! Wish we had a few more full plate options similar. Overall we would visit again! Great experience!
A wonderful experience. Lots of fun
The rooftop setting / igloos was SO charming. Loved it. It easily accommodated our party of 9.
Drinks good and reasonably priced. Service was fine. The food, however, was VERY disappointing. The limited offerings were all so heavy and every single dish involved cheese and a lot of it! There easily could have been other, healthier and tastier options. Because no one wanted to eat the food, we had a hard time meeting the rather steep minimum. Our reservation was at 7:30 so we were assuming their were small plate dinner options rather than just bar/fried food.
We had a family Christmas celebration on the roof top. The service and setting was excellent great cocktails but the food menu was not equal to all of the other great aspects. We will be back because of the great service and unique ambiance. Thanks
It was a fun experience to share the igloo with my team for our holiday celebration. The staff took great care of us and everyone had a great time!
The Igloo was a very cool experience! Wonderful evening with friends! Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Excellent service. The only downside was the food. The food selection and quality was mediocre at best. It took a long time to get the food. Our waiter, Tyler was wonderful! He took great care of our group throughout the night.
The set up is beautiful; however, we made reservations for 10 and there was barely enough seating for 8 people. It's a good thing 2 of our party had to cancel. The service was okay but we ended up have 3 waiters/waitresses during our 2 hour stay. We understood there was a limited menu but to be told that the fryer was down only after our food was brought out and then given hamburgers and tortilla chips in place of other menu items was not what we expected. I feel like what we were charged we did not receive what we had expected from this experience. We appreciate the beauty of what you had to offer but I would not recommend the rooftop igloo experience to anyone based on what we experienced. Extremely over priced hamburgers and chips.
Had a blast! Jake was a great waiter. Very fun! The food was just ok. Would be better if more shareable items since a group activity.
Very difficult to reach the $750 min even with 8 above average volume drinkers. The food was mediocre at best. Great food would have made the experience much better and made it easier to get to the minimum. The igloos are cool for something unique, but this could be an amazing experience with a little more oomph all around.
The atmosphere was wonderful and the drink service was great. The winter igloo theme was fantastic. However we were disappointed to find out when checking in the kitchen closes at 10 PM so we had to find fast food before our reservation time. After speaking with staff we found out this was a common complaint and isn’t explained well.
Disappointed because we planned to eat and they were no longer serving food during our reservation. The igloo itself was awesome.
Food was good. Service was friendly and attentive. Ambiance was exceptional, the main attraction.
Cool ambiance in the igloo. Food was almost uneatable
The service was very lacking. We often went with empty glasses and the food was absolutely horrible. The short rib nachos were cold, one clump of cheese in the middle and the rib/meat was comparable to pieces of hair. We were very disappointed. The concept/atmosphere was however excellent.
This is the worst dining experience I have had in the last 10 years. The food was horrible. Literally worse than food I can get at a ball park! Server was annoyed with us. Beautiful location and ambiance, but if you have a minimum spend for 8 people, you need to be serving decent food.
The highlight of our quick Nashville trip—a winter wonderland at the rooftop lounge. Igloos were cozy and other-worldly. The minimum tab was a bit hard to reach with the limited menu (note to management add some lobster and fancy desserts, please). Fun for a special occasion.
Our reservation was cancelled less than 30 minutes before we were meant to arrive, and we were given no option for replacement. Anyone who has ever tried to get a reservation for a 7 person group, at 7pm on a Friday in Nashville, and accommodate all types of dietary needs will understand how far beyond inconvenient this was. I will likely never make another reservation there. The absolute LEAST they could have done was provide some kind of alternative - but nope. Oh - and the cancellation came via text, so... outstanding customer service, gang! I would give this experience less than zero stars if I could.
A group of 14 of us had reserved a cabana on the rooftop for a 50th Birthday Celebration. There was some confusion with another guest who had reserved the 3 remaining cabanas for another birthday party. The other guest was under the assumption they had the whole rooftop to themselves. Management assured us we had every right to the cabana we had rented along with the shared space for games etc....We had a great experience!
We only had drinks on the rooftop but it was very cute! Loved the view! Service was great
Amazing service for our impromptu late night drinks. Server was very kind and everyone accommodating.
Awesome spot for a group hang! Reserving a cabana is definitely recommended for a big group.
The rain kept delaying our reservation so we had to scramble and get a table in the restaurant downstairs that the service and food were amazing!
We booked a Cabana for one of the summer rooftop shows (on a Weds) and overall had a great time. The one thing that was pretty frustrating is that we were not informed ahead of time that because of the concert, the minimum would be higher and that they would not be serving food. It is very clearly listed as a food and beverage minimum so just an FYI if any future groups are planning to apply the minimum to dinner. Instead we had to go down the restaurant bar and order to go food (which they would not deliver up to the roof for us and did not apply to our minimum). Also FYI - there is a pretty hefty hotel tax that is also not accounted for in the minimum. Overall still had a great time, but because of the additional food cost and added tax, we ended up spending WAY more money that we originally intended and still left fairly hungry.
Jessica was our server and she was very attentive and took great care of us. Awesome views of the city, great food and drinks and music, just lovely!
Birthday for 2 friends. We were rudely asked to leave the pool at sundown like we were doing something wrong. If the managers could have asked us in a humane and nice way, it would have been an amazing weekend
Thank you for your feedback. It has been shared with the appropriate staff. We would love the opportunity to show you a great time here at Bobby. Please reach out to me at Sharlene.grogan@bobbyhotel so we can chat more. Sincerely, Sharlene Grogan Senior Food & Beverage Manager
Our cabana was a nice place for 8 people to eat dinner.
Everything was great except they ran out of food and we had dietary restrictions which means we could not anything that was left to order... but we still had a good time!
Great space! We expected more of a party atmosphere so we reserved a cabana for $350 minimum. The oven was broken so there wasn't any food. The music was low, when the DJ came on @9p it was a random mix of oldies. The pool area was completely empty so we asked to move to the back. Not my best Friday night coming from NYC. Beautiful hotel though.
We brought 12 people for a birthday! We had a great time!
We enjoyed the experience. Lauren our server was awesome. The food and drinks were great. If it hadn't rained we could have moved around the roof top more.
The rooftop was extremely overpriced considering the quality of food and beverages. Everything was served in plastic, the drinks were premade and could not be altered in the slightest, the curling didn't really work and because the employees already knew this, it is neglected and not really meant for use. The seating in the igloos is uncomfortable and the igloos themselves are pretty cheap. The quality of food was not good (we ordered the cappa, nachos, hummus, olives) and considering the cost was a minimum $400 the quality simply wasn't there, especially with the nachos. Save your money and get a better rooftop experience at any of the more beautiful locations in the city.
It was a wonderful time! We loved it ❤️❤️ It was perfect for a winter night!
Service was painfully slow
It was great! We had a blast celebrating three Birthdays!
We had an amazing time in the igloos! Great ambiance! The food and drinks were so good!!
Rented an igloo on the rooftop of Bobby Hotel and it was such a great experience. Food was great, drinks were delicious, service was superb!
The igloos are a blast...great new way to enjoy our city and rooftops despite the cold weather. Josie, our waitress was outstanding and did a phenomenal job in keeping our group happy.
The food and drink quality were mediocre for the price. Not many food options on the rooftop, especially with a minimum purchase of $400.
Fun atmosphere on the rooftop bar but the $750 charged for the igloo is not worth the money. Very very limited food menu and even with 8-10 people it’s almost impossible to drink enough to meet the $750 minimum. And be aware if you reserve it for the 10:00 seating, the kitchen closes at 11:00. Go to the rooftop, it is cool to see but skip reserving an igloo.
