since I arrived at the place excellent service, I had the honor of meeting the chef and the owner of the restaurant, they surprised me with great service and detail for my best friend's birthday, I definitely recommend this place
Great atmosphere for sunset. Drinks and food were good. Service was good, even though they forgot to bring one of our drinks until we reminded them 30 min later.

Could you please provide us more information regarding your review? We have every staff member masked, sanitation at every area where people make a payment and at bathrooms and elevators, tables are spaced apart 6 feet and we are doing everything we can to comply and keep our staff and people safe. If we are missing something it would be helpful during this brutal time where every restaurant is closing there doors for good to let us know vs anonymously saying we are unsafe with zero examples.
This place is awesome. It should be more packed given the fact that they have awesome food and service at great pricing. And the ambiance is great too.
Belgium waffles were amazing. The drinks were smooth yet strong but just right.
Food was good, but not amazing, and the volume is a bit much.
Cocktails are recommended, particularly the Carnival en Oaxaca.

This was the best meal I've had in many years. The food was amazing, the wines were wonderful and the service was just the perfect mix of attentive and not hovering. I WILL be back again.
The pork chop was so tough that my husband couldn't really eat it. When we mentioned it toward the end of the meal, they gave him a free glass of a dessert wine he didn't want to make up for it. It would have been better to deduct the price.
It was my birthday - noted in the Open Table restaurant reservation. We had a few toasts at the table and nobody on the staff asked about what we were celebrating, could they take a picture for us... We had the Pris Fixe menu, but it might have been nice to throw a candle on my cheese cake. The restaurant was empty - so there was plenty of time to notice these things. The final price was exorbitant for the mediocre service and failed entree. We will not go back or recommend it to any friends.
We loved the cocktails and the desserts. The complimentary bite size mushroom cheese cake was mouth watering. We ordered tuna tar tar and mussels as appetizer. We loved the tuna tar tar. Lobster raviolis was also great. Loved the desserts.
Hello, I’m writing this review in hopes to be helpful. My fiancé and I were entertaining family in town from NYC so we chose 25 Lusk
Based off reviews. Our experience was not one of those success stories. We checked in at 7pm for our 7:30pm reservations, We were welcomed by the hostess to sit in the lounge and wait for our table, no big deal! Around 7:15 someone brought us water and told us the hostess would be down to seat us soon. Shortly after that we were approached 5 times by different members of staff, asking to order drinks, then seemingly very annoyed when we said no, we were waiting to order drinks at the table. Now mind you, we didn’t get sat for our 7:30 reservation until almost 8pm (the other parties waiting in the lounge however were sat right on time), so by the time the last annoyed employee came and asked us to order drinks came by, I personally felt obliged to order something. So I went to the bar and ordered one glass of wine; when I did, the bartender responded with an exasperated “That’s it?!??”
Basically this set the tone for an underwhelming experience going forward. The best part of our meal was the pretzel bites, to be honest, and that’s not what we brought our family from across the country to have, know what I mean? In all, the food was greasy, and seemed like something we could have gotten for a 1/3rd of the price at a less “exclusive” restaurant. In addition, we felt like we were a major inconvenience to the staff. We hope it gets better because like I said, the dining room service staff was top notch.
So much fun to experience this for restaurant week. The food was delicious, wine pairings were great, and the service was awesome. It’s a very open restaurant and we backed up to the servers station.....some of the conversations we could hear were interesting.....

There was an event going on downstairs, and it was so loud my date and I couldn’t hear each other or the server, who had to keep repeating himself. The service was ok, but my food was terribly bland.
Came here with friends for the SF restaurant week, surprised by the set menu for its price.(a great deal, compared to my past visits) Portion is as usual, and the food was very tasty. Great service as usual.

Overall this is a beautiful place with amazing service. All of that was amazing, not one complaint. However for the money there are way better options in sf for the food part. The pre-fixed menu for $65 quickly turned $198.00 for 2 before tip. The two of us did order one drink each and I did choose the steak upgrade option. Which all was additional. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t amazing and for $100 a person there are a lot of options in the city that are amazing. It just seems like regular food you can get anywhere for 1/2 the price.
I hope this place figures out a better meal because the service and atmosphere are amazing. I’d come again for drinks and appetizers for sure.

Booked this restaurant for new year's eve because of the roof top. However it was closed that evening.
Atmosphere is ok and the food as well but waiter is not familiar with the drink and wine list so need to show him and repeat several times.
Food was decent but I expected a bit more especially from the cheese platter. I think I had better cheeses at home. We went for the NYE bash as they promoted but the ambience was a ZERO. The music played so low ....YAWN and the although the lounge area very chic there were only 8 of us for the "big nye bas" So simple to get a DJ and keep people engaged.

Fantastic restaurant and service! My girlfriend and I went here for dinner on Christmas Eve and they had a prix fixe menu with plenty of options including a delicious ribeye steak which I highly recommend getting. Perfect for date night and for special occasions, but would love to casually go casually for cocktails/happy hour after work.
It was a perfect Christmas Eve dinner! All our dishes were delicious, the service was on point and the ambiance was lovely.

Service was great. People were nice. Our waitress was wine knowledgeable, which is always great. Unfortunately (and this is a SF thing), the people working the table, while nice, were trained poorly. There were too many hands and arms moving over (and even touching) the food on the table. Food was ok. Pork belly was cooked correctly, and was tasty (the corn was a good addition). The effort to make the pork belly dish a surf and turf dish (by using seaweed and uni) sounds more interesting than it actually is. For the main course, I had halibut. Unfortunately, it was over-cooked and dry.

This place is still going strong after many years which is an accomplishment in SF. They no longer have valet parking which is a shame but there is parking in a secure lot across the alley.
We were seated right away, our server was prompt without being pushy and the sommelier was gracious when our wine choice was not available and he offered a more expensive substitution at the same price. They expressed concern that we were on our way to a concert (we weren't) so that we could finish in time. The dining room has held up over time so come to 25 Lusk.
Food was really good ! Our server and the servers assistant(busser?) were great. It was pricey, but it was really nice . We had a drink on the rooftop bar prior to eating, it was really cool
Parking across the street was convenient, food was acceptable...but, not fabulous. The pre-fixe menu was the main event. My halibut was well prepared, but, only warm-not hot when served.
I was double charged for the wine I had at the bar and the service while polite, SLOW....only a modest experience.
