The Old Clare rooftop pool and bar was designed to be more than a space to forget about the day to day by looking down on the city. Being on a rooftop in the middle of the city is a great way to escape the clamour of a city by settling in above the skyline. Swimming is reserved for our guests but the rooftop bar is open to the public. We’ve got a selection of drinks, cocktails and snacks, so whether you want to sip on a negroni while contemplating the skyline or raise a humble schooner with a local, we got you.

And if you’re feeling generous and want to share it with your friends or colleagues, The Old Clare rooftop bar is a great spot to hire for your events in Sydney, whether your brand needs that little extra oomph or you just want to host a memorable gathering.     Love coming here- such a hidden gem :) Not too noisy, food is good, staff are friendly and drinks are excellent!

    Advertised as open. No one knew what was happening. No staff on roof top...just guests. Told we could order from restaurant and take it up. Don't advertise something you aren't prepared to manage. There is NO brunch on the rooftop.

    Everything was pretty good, staff were accomodating with separate orders and did everything at the table. Food is only share plates in the rooftop bar. The music volume did make it hard to talk, and after food and drinks came, it was hard to find the waiter again. This is a nice rooftop bar conveniently located near Central and Spice Alley so I guess you can’t go wrong.

    Wasnt the best, but it wasnt the worst, it was an ok place to hang out, with limited food options available, not much ambience either.

    The drinks were very expensive and badly done. A very watery aperol for 19 dollars is not value for $, and a tiny non alcoholic margarita for 14 is also not a good value.

    It was terrific pre theatre venue. Would like to be able to table order and pay as difficult to split payment with a group. food was mainly light snack style. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
