   Ronnie’s was as expected on the photos — good food, good cocktails, and a classy backdrop. However, I would say it is nothing that blows your mind. The restaurant was relatively empty when I was there — it was a weeknight — so perhaps that added to my sense of neutrality. I would say the service was attentive, helpful, and courteous though.

   Amazing food and even better service ! definitely recommend the vodka pasta !

   We have been to Ronnie's several times. The food is always delicious and there is a good menu. The staff are always helpful and the service is good. This time we had Christian Petracca's Pappardelle with Duck Ragu as our main. It was very nice.

   I came with great expectations due to the hype around this restaurant. However, it did not live up to the hype. The wait staff requires more training on their food and beverage knowledge, the sequence of service and checking the satisfaction of guests. Not sure why plates are being cleared when we have not finished our food? This does make sense and needs to be changed. In addition, to inform a guest about the 90 minute seating time was very unnecessary as the whole restaurant was not to capacity. Lastly, when we went to finalise the bill the bill wasn’t even provided. The young lady showed us the kiosk screen and did not ask how the meal was or thank us for coming. Whilst paying for the meal.. she walked away. Unprofessional at the finest.

   Lovely ambiance. I know it is to be expected that portion sizes will be small; but I do hate spending $300 on a meal only to have to eat after I leave.

   Calamari entree was extremely disappointing, hardly any calamari and buried in sauce. Wines, only one Pinot to choose from and it was terrible, particularly at $17 a glass. Mains, outstanding and helped recover what was looking like a disaster meal.

    We were in a booth and so missed the atmosphere of the place really. Ordered a bottle of wine but they came with just a glass. Ordered a bowl of fries with mains but they forgot it. Very hard to get their attention to check this and when the fries eventually came, we'd almost finished our meal. The pinot noir we had was from Mornington Peninsula and like cordial, with very little body and finish. Get another!
