The flavors in each of our recipes are blended with the finest ingredients, simplicity, elegance and love. I pledge that I will protect the Grisanti legacy while continuing to refine my art form. This restaurant is my gift to Memphis, the city that allowed my great-grandfather Rinaldo and our family to thrive and raise our children in the greatest place in the world. Salute!

Ronnie Grisanti's is the go to place in Memphis for Italian food. Judd Grisanti, raised in the business and trained in Italy is the best Italian chef in Memphis. The food, ambience and service is excellent.
This restaurant is perfect for business entertaining and celebrations. It is a "can't miss" if you're visiting Memphis and want to try something more than our city's fabulous barbecue.
My families all time favorite is the toasted ravioli appetizer and lobster pizza. The Grisanti's have served Memphis for more than 110 years. I am grateful the next generation is keeping the Italian culinary scene alive.
Also, they are diligently adhering to Covid-19 standards, take out is available.
The food was very good. A bit expensive but not bad.
The service was quite slow this time.
I'm sure that because of COVID-19 restrictions they were a bit below their usual.
I still reccomend Ronnie Grisanti's for excellent dining.
Accidentally started at Frank’s place not Ronnie’s. I was disappointed that they wouldn’t take a veal chop and pound it out into Veal Milanese for me - I had called the day before and spoke to a man who said he would put it on my reservation. The excuse was that the chef was not working that night and he was the only one who could authorize it. For anyone not familiar with Veal Milanese, it’s a simple process to pound the veal chop flat, dip it in egg wash and bread crumbs, sauté both sides, then sprinkle top with arugula, cherry tomatoes and Parmesan — not a difficult recipe as you can see. You would think that restaurants would be more accommodating especially in these times to encourage repeat business. The appetizers were good, but not great, service was attentive and atmosphere was nice. My girlfriend ordered manicotti but nothing very special or flavorful. Not sure what it was we both ate, but both our stomachs were gurgling afterwards. Unlikely to return.
Great food and excellent service! Our waiter, Andrew, was amazing from start to finish! Definitely will return!
Best Italian food in Memphis in my opinion and love the people who work there! It's a place that welcomes you in and really cares about not only the food, but the overall experience you have while they are taking care of you!
Awesome as it always is!! Newly added grilled octopus and grilled oysters with crabmeat and bechamel sauce are extremely good! I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t like 110%!! Also the new artichoke ravioli and stuffed chicken with artichokes is really really good!!
It was great and very authentic Italian. I always gauge a place on its red sauce and theirs is perfect
The tuna appetizer was fantastic! The tuna was tender and the sauce was tasty! The salad I had was equally great. The fried green tomatoes were perfect. The portion size was nice. My friend and I split the Elfo Special, a pasta dish with shrimp. Although the shrimp was cooked properly, this dish was disappointing. It was so bland-no taste to it at all. I would have thought that the sauce was not put on it except that the noodles were heavy with a thickness that must have been the sauce. I would recommend going to dinner here, just don’t get the Elfo Special that is on the pasta menu.
Wonderful food and service
Staff was friendly, food was excellent, overall a really nice restaurant. First time there. Definitely will go back
When we arrived the hostess said they didn’t show a reservation under our name. I showed her the confirmation on my OpenTable app to which she replied “Hmm, let me see what I can do”. We were seated 1-2 mins later. Issue here was we had put special instructions regarding why the was a special occasion for us on the reservation, which ended up never being seen, bummer. Okay, rocky start. Once seated, we waited 9 minutes to be greeted by our server, or any of the many people walking past us. Our server seemed rushed, not very engaging. We ordered one cocktail, one glass of wine, a soda for my son, and the Toasted Ravioli appetizer. The appetizer arrived within a timely fashion, our drinks were a few minutes behind the appetizer. It took our server several minutes, after us finishing our appetizer and most of our drinks, prior to returning and taking our dinner and second drink orders. My husband ordered a salad, the New York Strip, and two sides. My son the Rolling River pulled pork pizza, and I Asparagus soup and the Manicotti. We also requested dinner bread at this time. The bread arrived at our table with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on a separate plate. Our second course arrived after we finished our bread, both were great. Different people, including the floor manager stopped by to clear dishes. Our main course arrived at the perfect time. Highly recommended all three dishes, the pizza may have actually been my favorite! Our server stopped by about 3/4 way through the main course. He asked if we had received our second courses because he was unsure. We finished our meals and sat waiting for dessert options for 16 minutes. The manager and food runner stopped by to clear the table and offered to box my sons pizza. I requested the check, due to the wait, our want for dessert had passed. Overall the food was amazing and the service subpar. We will not be returning unfortunately. You can get good food anywhere, the experience is what should set you apart.
Outstanding!! New menu items are awesome! Had the new grilled oysters with crabmeat and grilled octopus and the artichoke and cheese ravioli with grilled shrimp! My girlfriend had the new bruschetta with shrimp and the new stuffed chicken breast! Everything was incredible and clean and safe! Everything from the food to the wait staff and management and owners and Chef Judd is 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Best Italian restaurant in Memphis!
Excellent as always!
Extremely good food and service! Authenic and everything is made there fresh! Service and atmosphere is always great! The staff always make you feel right at home. Leigh Anna is a great server/bartender! Remembers your name, what you drink, eat, etc... Highly recommend for everything from business meeting to dates and celebrations! Can't wait to go back!
Excellent all around. Food was spot on with terrific service and ambiance.
Excellent and delicious food!
We had our family with 10 and had a great dinner!
Our new favorite place. The food is exceptional, the service is wonderful and the ambiance is perfect.
Service and food were great!
Both entrees were outstanding! Not only were both prepared to perfection, but the servings were more than plentiful. Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent food and service. Our waiter Ross was superb. Will be back soon.
Great dining experience! The food was great and the service was exceptional! Can’t wait to go back.
Me and my friend celebrated our GALentines there and had a wonderful time! The food was amazing! We will definitely be back :)
Always an amazing experience at Grisanti’s. My girlfriend and I have come here for several occasions, and they never disappoint. Incredible food, and awesome, friendly service.
Just as nice as Franks. This is not the old Ronnies...Great food!
Crammed two top tables very close together for Valentine’s Day weekend. Could overhear other tables conversations easily. We finished our meal quickly and left. Food and service was good, but ambiance ruined it. Gave feedback to manager.
Nothing memorable unfortunately. I don’t think we’ll be back.
This was our first visit. The food and service were both wonderful. I ordered the Valentines special, sea bass over rock shrimp risotto. It was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time!!
5th year celebration
My husband and I had such a fantastic time Saturday night! The service was perfect; the food was incredible. We are already talking about going back. And, I am pretty sure that was the BEST manicotti I have ever had in my whole life.
A group of people (4-5) stood around the couple’s table sitting next to ya and were so loud my husband and I could not hear each other talk. This went on for at least 20-30 minutes. Staff did nothing.
Had a very romantic dinner with my sweetheart for Valentines Day. Food was awesome as well as the feel of the restaurant! Will definitely come back for more.
We had an amazing time! The food was delicious and the ambiance was even better. This will forever be a favorite for us
Excellent dinner for Valentine’s Day. Would highly recommend
Downstairs is awesome !
Fantastic! The food was exceptional and the service was exemplary!
The manager is fantastic she is everywhere and takes care of customers. I feel at home and always find someone I know
Wonderful evening and great food.
I started with a Miss Mary’s salad followed by the frittata from the brunch menu. My husband ordered the bruschetta. The salad dressing was like I expected, but the salad itself was not like this salad from the past. I did not receive any bread with the salad or the frittata. Sides are extra. I thought the meal was pricey for what we received. They also incorrectly notified Open Table that we were a no show for our reservation. I hope that this restaurant is able to get things right because I want them to be successful. The location is great and so is their history.
Very good service, excellent food & wine
