Our menu is updated daily, based on what we have harvested from our garden during that given week. Our farm is located just seven miles from our restaurant. The climate and changing seasons play a major role in what we serve. It is our intention to always provide a variety of menu options and to accommodate any dietary needs.
We loved our dinner at Ronin! We went on a Thursday and it was very quiet and perfect for a romantic dinner for two. Hannah Epps was our server and bartender and she did a fantastic job at both. We will surely be coming again for our next date night, can’t recommend it enough.
My friends birthday
We enjoyed this farm to table restaurant for my wife’s birthday for our family of five. Our first venture out to a nice restaurant in many months. Ambiance and live music were awesome. Safe distances from others. Food was great and very unique menu. I thought the prices were about 20% higher than they should have been. Charging for bread, seems overkill when everything else is expensive. Last minor point, I mentioned it was my wife’s bday on the Open Table reservation Notes and it even asks if there is a special occasion being celebrated, and I selected birthday. But there was no mention of this or any extras during our meal. That is an attention to detail, that you expect when paying these prices.
Worth the reservation! Great place for a first date.
Cool vibe with balcony seating, unique menu for both food and spirits
We were so impressed with our first visit to Ronin! The service is unbelievable, a true cast of team workers that had everything covered, regardless of whether it was their table or not. The food was fantastic, my husband had the chicken fried Wagyu steak. Amazing. My chicken, sweet potatoes and okra were amazing as well. Only small thing was I didn't like the random cuts on the chicken...made it hard to eat. I did express this to our server at the end, meaning only to be constructive. I prefer my chicken cut the traditional cuts, thigh, leg, breast etc. Overall the meal and cocktails were amazing, and a great value as well. We will be back for sure.
The best hidden gem in Bryan! The Chicken Fried Steak is incredible!
An outstanding cocktail menu and program. We would recommend you start with a cocktail at the bar before dinner. Wine list has some interesting Texas wines. Food was great; chicken fried steak was among the best I’ve had. Enjoy this restaurant, it’s worth the visit.
Ronin is a hidden gem. I spent about a week in Bryan and this was the best place I visited by far. Food, ambience, staff: all of it was terrific.
I ordered several of the small-plates/starters. The soy-glazed potatoes with onion were delicious. The jalapeño poppers--fried in breadcrumb, served with house made ranch--were good also (though they could've used a touch more salt). And the salad with grilled vegetables was great.
The staff were friendly, quick, and helpful. I stayed for probably 3 hours and they were there the whole time. The beer and cocktail menu was spectacular also.
Oh ya, they just so happened to be doing Seinfeld trivia that night, which was an added bonus!
I highly recommend Ronin. If I'm anywhere in the area, I plan on going back.
Such a wonderful time! The waitstaff was welcoming and very attentive! Fall drinks are yummy and we had a great time!
Great food, nice staff. Loved the farm to market idea
I came in for brunch & a Bloody Mary, and needless to say I was not disappointed. The service was amazing. The bar manager Danielle took the time to talk about some of their rare/special wines! I ended up leaving with a retail bottle to try this week. If you need a brunch spot, or just a charming place for a meal I’d always suggest ronin! One of the servers mentioned Seinfeld trivia this week & I’m so excited to come.
Great food and menu. We are on the patio and it was too loud with trains and cars but we will eat there again for sure but inside.
good was wondfuk, service amazing
Dillon our server tried to make it work. So the low rating wasn't due to his effort. Management is pathetic and unprepared for the 12th Man gathering and it affected the entire overall restaurant. Shame on them
Great atmosphere, great food, great experience! Highly recommend!
After reading their "story" I couldn't help myself!! Took the fam and tried literally everything I wanted... even the suggested martini pairing. This place did not disappoint! We will be back regularly.
Had an absolutely wonderful time here. My family came in town and I took them here. The food, atmosphere, and the staff was all amazing. Especially loved their fall cocktail called hello gorgeous. Would recommend :) also their cookies are AMAZING.
Great food and great service. I will be coming back soon
Great first time experience !
Everything was great food service drinks. There was a lady playing music by the bar, but we could still hear it where we were sitting and she sounded great. Definitely plan on going again.
We were seated immediately on their long patio in front of the building. Waitress was helpful and friendly. Food was very good, but portions are a little small. The bread basket for $9 was lacking. About six slices from a loaf of bread and some butter. I did not order the fried chicken plate as it was a leg and thigh for $22. Had the chicken fried wagyu steak and it was excellent. No one in the party had any negative comments we enjoyed the meal.
Beautiful restaurant. We loved the setting. We sat on the front porch but the inside is just as quaint. The food was delicious, flavorful and unique. We all lovee how they use fresh ingredients that are in season. The waitstaff was wonderful. We will definitely be back.
What a treat! Wonderful drinks, homemade bread to start and delicious entrees! All fresh flavorful food. The servers were knowledgeable and fun to talk to. You can tell they enjoy their job! We made reservations to return the next time we are in town. A jewel in dining experiences.
Daughter turned 21!
AMAZING food and atmosphere! I would recommend any and everyone to come here! Easily my favorite restaurant experience that Bryan/ College station has to offer. Phenomenal food and the kindest staff to go with it.
Great place...service was great! Is noisy which is great with 2 kids...could have a children’s menu even if it’s just McNugget..restrooms were very clean..great food...could have a few additional options...great drinks!! Definitely a place to eat..
Best i n Brazos County! CFS was great, drinks were great.
Ronin is the best place in town! The food is beyond amazing and the drinks are genius. My friend and I sat at the bar and got to interact with much of the staff and they were great!! Would definitely recommend!
The appetizers and dessert were great, unfortunately 3 of us got a summer vegetable dish which ranged in the level it was cooked (aka undercooked potatoes) , and the kitchen ran out of a dish that 5 of us originally ordered. The server was fabulous, but they are not spacing out tables, we were in the back corner by the restroom. I would request a better placement next time, especially because I made these reservations a month out.
Had a great dinner with a friend and it was awesome!! Definitely will be going back.
Courtney is the best server. She took the time to explain items on the menu and was so welcoming to us!
Atmosphere was perfect for date night! All the staff was very friendly and kept water in our glass. The food was amazing. Me and my husband had the wagu pho and wagu chicken fried steak. We will definitely be coming back and can't wait to try brunch
Amazing food with fantastic staff
This was the second time I have been to Ronin, and I came back for the Chicken Fried Steak and the Fried Vegetables. Honestly, the absolute best chicken fried steak I have ever eaten. The fried vegetables for an appetizer are absolutely delicious. I am not an okra fan, but I can tell you that it is quite delicious and I go for that first now. The service was impeccable. I love this place!
My friends and I LOVE going to Ronin! The food is fresh and wonderfully made. The staff is so kind and I highly recommend asking for Jason to be your waiter!
My 40th birthday dinner at Ronin was the best farm to table dinner experience I’ve had in a very long time.
Being a mixologist, chef and CoOp enthusiast myself, I’m a sucker for a fancy cocktail, farm fresh produce & well planned dishes. The beverage choices here are extensive and impressive. My Sierra Campfire cocktail was the perfect blend of bitter and sweet with a torched sugar topping. We had the most amazing salad, which sounds pretentious but you don’t even know how amazing a salad can be until you’ve had the perfect one. I make myself and my customers a wonderful farm fresh ratatouille/ tian / confit Bayaldi and that I’ve been looking for any place that makes it for me to try! I showed up not knowing the menu... and there it was... like a sign from the universe. Aaahhhhhh!!! So, You know when the food critic in the movie Ratatouille is instantly transported to his childhood when he takes a bite of his dish... this is Exactly what it’s like when you taste their organic and amazing Ratatouille Bayaldi... with perfectly seasoned enoki and lions main mushrooms - I think they were -!! AAAAnd thheeennnnn..... I tried the soufflé! Better than my mother’s. A light as a feather watermelon soufflé with a creamy as heaven in yo mouth lime ice cream. Our server Courtney and the table next to ours server Jason - were the absolute most welcoming and knowledgeable servers I have met in this whole town. I didn’t want to over stay my welcome and gush over this meal to the chefs so I’m Doing it here. Seriously amazing .
The entire experience was 5 stars! We enjoyed our time at the bar while we waited for our table. There was a couple people set up nearby singing and they sounded fantastic. Once we sat at our table, we were greeted by Jason, who did an amazing job! Our food was excellent! We each ordered something different so we could try a variety of items, and they were all amazing! We even enjoyed desert! We will be back!
Fresh food; good service; outstanding offerings; fun atmosphere
So, I had been wanting to come eat at the Restaurant ever since I had checked out their Farm Day over at the Farm last year. A friend I had made that Farm Day invited me to come check the Restaurant out, & it took us almost an entire year for our schedules to be lined up to where we could both go, and I have got to say - EVERYTHING. WAS. EXCELLENT.
Exceeding expectations, we started off with the Shishito Peppers and Chicken Yakitori, and my intentions were to be adventurous, on a level 10, & introduce to my palette as many flavors as my body could handle. Next, the Bartender/Manager graciously picked out two more wines for me to try, one red and one white, with the Jean Royer GSM being an incredible introduction and the Smarzen pet-nat really blowing me away - light effervescence, reminiscent of a white version of the Lambrusco. I'm still learning my best how to describe wines, but, I would highly recommend this one to anyone reading through. Incoming after that, we got our entrées delivered to us, with my friend receiving the Ratatouille, & me receiving the Grilled Shrimp. & this was the BEST Shrimp I had ever experienced in my life!! My friend had forewarned me that something about the way how the Chefs and Cooks prepare the seafood is highly popular with the ladies, & he was not wrong. A+++. The Arugula Vinaigrette - superb addition. Compliments @ the creator. My friend's Ratatouille was wow!
Finally, I was unsure on Dessert, but, he went ahead and ordered the Soufflé for us to try - well, for me to try, since he's, "vegan." & I was convinced to get a cocktail that would complement the dessert, that being the Sierra Campfire.
Both the Sierra Campfire & the Soufflé were presented phenomenally, with our server, Zoie, beautifully presenting. Both were sooooooo delicious!
Final words: I felt like a princess that night. Both from my friend & the staff. Food - CRAZY - nothing like I've ever had before. Zoie - she was weird, like me, & a kindred spirit-thank you
