   My family went to Rombe for Mother’s Day breakfast. Despite the restaurant being less than 50% full, we had to wait for over 30mins for a pre-made dessert that would have taken all off 2min to plate up. For the price ($70 per head) the food was ordinary and terrible value for money. We received a standard breakfast (think baked eggs, salmon eggs Benedict) and a tiny pre-made dessert (lemon tart). I understand it’s Mother’s Day and expect a premium but $70 for that breakfast and the e poor service was a rip off. Our previous experience at Rombe a few months ago was so good, it’s a shame this experience was so disappointing. We won’t be back.

   Delicious locally sourced food. Probably the very best steak (vintage grass fed) I have ever had . Truly delectable sides as well. Soft in obtrusive music in the background & fresh flowers & candles add to the rustic, Cozy feel

   It was our first time going to Rombe and we were very impressed with the food, service and general ambience of the restaurant. We will certainly be going back in the future

   Staff was wonderful. Presentation of food was great. However we found that all the dishes was slightly on the sweeter side and it was a little stuffy inside the restaurant that night. Also no lights were kit for the walk way to the restaurant, so we were walking in the dark to find the entrance to the restaurant.

   I couldn’t believe I am in burwood! The food and vibe are amazing!!!! I like the oyster trolley experience!!!
