Romano's Macaroni Grill - Round Rock
Dinner was awesome as usual ... missed eating here some much
Ordered the lasagna. Tasted like it was refrigerated packaged food and was not thoroughly heated up. Disappointed.
The staff was fantastic! The food was perfect! It was our 42nd anniversary and had a great time!
Food and service very good. Felt comfortable with the measures they have set up to be safe. Nice to be out and food was very good and server was attentive.
They did a fantastic job with mask usage, signage, social distancing, etc. Our server was wonderful and I highly recommend.
Our waiter was awesome and made the experience a great one!
Wait staff was high as a kite and smelled so bad he made us sick when he came to the table, we left after 15 minutes and the 3rd time he took our drink order and messed it up, will not go back.
Service, food, and ambiance were great! Will definitely be returning!
Since our original RMG closed down due to the COVID 19 virus, we find that the Round Rock RMG is a most satisfactory replacement. And the service is better than what the Arboretum RMG had become.
The food was delicious as always the only thing I didn,t liked is that the dish I love was not in the menu
We knew our server, because we are repeat customers. The experience was completely positive.
Great service. Bathrooms are horrible.
our waitress never checked on us after food was delivered. She also seemed inexperience and very unaware or attentive .
I took my Wife for Velentines day. Worst one ever!! Waited 45 min for our food and it was Messed Up!’
Made reservation Christmas Day for 6:00pm. Showed up at 5:55, checked in and was told it would be a couple of minutes while they set the table up (party of 5). At 6:15 I asked at what time I could expect to be seated. That finally sprung into action and seated us about 5 minutes later. After seating, we waited about 10 minutes for a wait person to show up and take drink orders. After another 10 minutes the waiter showed up with drinks with no ice and told us they were out of ice but the manager went to get some. At this time she informed us that they didn’t have any bread and they wouldn’t have any. We then got up and left. Our annual traditional Christmas meal at Macronni Grill is now history...never again. You know any good places?
Thank goodness for Evelyn- her attitude & willingness to help saved the day. When we got seated and waited over 10 minutes without being greeted by our waitress, I luckily found Evelyn and she stepped in. Shelia, our waitress came by, and was mediocre- obviously not happy to be working- she was lucky to have Evelyn as a back up.
We made Christmas reservations, as my family travels from various parts of Texas and needed a central location in which to meet. I understand it was a holiday, but I would encourage you to not be open rather than to be open and understaffed/poorly prepared. They ran out of ice, pizza was undercooked, and all of the staff complained at some point about being at work.
Needed a place to go for Thanksgiving, and zmacroni Grill eas perfect.
Loved the brunch. Good value for your money. Service was outstanding. The mimos were great.
We went to Macaroni Grill for my husbands’s birthday. The waitress, Bri, was nice, restaurant was not crowded when we arrived. Bathroom was awful. It smelled terrible and was in need of repair to the roof and stalls. The food was ok but not as good as it has been on previous visits. The Mac and cheese with truffle oil my son ordered was awful! He couldn’t eat it. My husband and I agreed when we tasted it. We had no issues sending it back for a replacement dish though. I think it must have had a large amount of the oil which gave it an almost spoiled flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their food, although a couple dishes seemed as if they were under a heat lamp a while. A little dried out, but still edible. Not a terrible experience, but not amazing either.
It's not bad, but it is not great. I have had much better from other Romano's location. The service was outstanding, but that was the only thing better than fair/average. The restrooms were dirty, the walls looked grungy throughout the place, and it was overtly noisy. My son wanted to go there for his birthday, but was not all that impressed. If it was not for the friendly and punctual service, this would have been a failure. Still have a hard time recommending this location.
A lot of employees, but none that took care of our table. The quality of food and service is not worth the cost.
We were seated promptly but did not have a waiter come to our table for 20 minutes. By the time we received our appetizer we had been sitting for 45 minutes then our meal over an hour after being seated.
We went for Mother’s Day with a reservation for 6 and had to wait 20 min to be seated with 95 and 87 year old Mom’s and my wife. Got seated at a 5-top. We were brought bread, but no eating utensils or napkins. So sat staring at the bread for 15 minutes. Waited over an hour to get our food, that after waiting over a half hour to get our order taken. When our food arrived we had undercooked runny egg white eggs on two fo the Eggs Benedict. Some of the food was cold like it had been waiting for the rest. Won’t go back after a bad 3+ hour experience that was supposed to be a Happy Mother’s Day celebration.
Having reservations via Open Table didn’t seem to make any difference. Reservation was for 1PM and we were not seated until 2. An expected wait was not provided initially or at any time during the one hour wait. At no time did any of the wait staff or the manager come by to give an update. When we were finally were called I asked why there was an hour wait given we had reservations and the manager, Bob Cooler, said that they were trying to please everyone. No apology and really no explanation.
Waiter was not very friendly and didn’t know the menu. He went around the table taking orders and forgot to take mine. Had to go up to him while putting in the other orders. Food came out cold to Luke warm. My son had to send back his seafood dish due to the coldness. When returned it was still lukewarm and mussels were not cleaned and were grinning. He obviously at this point did not eat it and it was removed from our bill. It took awhile to get food we filled up on the bread and requested our deserts to go. One of them came with ice cream and they included the ice cream on the to go order? They were not prepared for this Mother’s Day crowd. It obviously did not make it a special occasion. We talked to the manger on duty and all he could say was really I’m sorry and moved on. He obviously didn’t care and was moving to hear the other complaints from the other guest all around us. My suggestion is to do a set/brunch meal and stick to it rather than have the kitchen trying to put out orders from a full house using the entire menu.
Obviously we won’t be returning for nor recommending this restaurant!
I like Romano's Macaroni Grill because the quality is consistent and above average, I like their new menu and the service is always better than you get from other chain restaurants. The staff is quick and efficient. We had the Chicken Parmesan that was on special and I will say it couldn't have been better. You don't need to spend a lot of money for good food but the Chicken Parmesan will taste like you did.
