Good service was the highlight. Food was mediocre at best. Ambiance was not the least bit relaxing.
Waitress was so pleasant. Food was excellent and we felt very safe. We would recommend Romano’s for a night out.
Consistent food quality - cooked fresh and service is always A+!
Place was dead was seated still took 20 min before seing anyone then was told they didnt want to honor there special anymore we could order it all separately for way more expensive i asked why the waiter said they were out of what they put aside for the special now everything was separate even though they still had what the specials were then my girl ordered something the waitress came back amd said they just put the last one on the grill so the 20 min wait could of got my girl her salmon so mu girl ordered a stake mediam and they brought her that was so rare it could of ran away and instead of saying sorry the waiter just said ok took plate and left 15 min later came back never said sorry or anything so i eat my food cold then charged me 60 dollers for the 2 stakes i chose not to get the appetizer or dessert because it would of been well over 80 for the same thing that was on special for 45
The service was just fine. It was the food that was terrible. Reminded me of middle school kids trying to make Italian. The lasagna just had ricotta and noisier with sauce dumped on top. The Buffalo chicken Parmesan was just chicken doused in franks red hot. I won’t be back.
Excellent service and the food was very good. Overall great experience.
We had a great experience with our reservation and our waiter was fabulous.
The cooks messed up the order which delayed us getting our meal. We waited over an hour to finally be served. The waiter was nice and gave us a complimentary dessert.
Consistent food quality and excellent service provided by Jayme!
Romano's Macaroni Grill in Reno was wonderful. The food is simple, yet delicious - good Italian home cooking. There are several options for a vegetarian, but I choose the mac and cheese, as I had not seen this on their menu before, and it was really great. My wife had the shrimp Portofino, her favorite, which was also delicious. We had a bottle of the Romano Rosso, a nice 1.5L bottle (my doctor says I can only have one bottle of wine a day!!!) of really nice wine. And the service was also fantastic. Thanks, Tyla. If you need a quick bite on your way to or from the Reno airport, stop in at Romano's and have a nice little feast.
Took over 45 minutes to bring our food out. My boyfriend’s pasta looked like it was under the heat lamp for a while it wasn’t even that hot when it arrived. Asked for the steak to be well done and still had pink in the middle after a bite. They could have just brought my boyfriend’s food when it was done and notified us that the steak was going to take a little longer. When we got our food my boyfriend and I had lost appetite from waiting so long. Plus not to mention there was no more than 6 tables being used with three serves and 2-3 cooks.
There was black particles in my ice that looked like ashes. The first glass I got had a cluster of the particles and the proceeding glass had a few here and there in the ice so I got a drink with no ice. I just over all didn’t like the food or the fact the ice had crap in it. Just better off saving a few bucks and going to Olive Garden.
Macaroni Grill at this time of the day and week was very quiet and safe. The waiter we had was outstanding. Very attentive, and very efficient. My friend and I had a very quiet, but comfortable and yummy late lunch, early dinner. She had never been to a Macaroni Grill before and was quite impressed and surprised. We had two gift cards that I had purchased at a discount, and I felt like it was definitely worth it. Nothing could have been better for two old ladies to visit, eat and have a very special time together. Thank you.
It was good. Just wish they had Chianti still. But service was good and food was too.
Have only been once long time ago , decided to try again because my daughter wanted Italian and likes ambiance . Loved our meals , Im on a calorie restricted diet and they had a nice selection of meals within that arena !
Very please with staff, and the food. We left very happy.
Food excellent but really slow especially since hardly anyone in restaurant.
Definitely americanized italian (very similar to olive garden), the pasta sauces are somewhat sub par, but their appetizers and signature mac and cheese are to die for. Their unlimited soups and salads are delicious, you get a lot of bang for your buck and the service from our waiter Brenden was outstanding! Very covid safe and very safe environment
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We were the only ones in the place so it's not like it was busy. We ordered tomato soup and it was like cold tomato paste. There was no liquid in it. Then we ordered make your own pasta and it took forever to get it and the sauce was pasty on one with the shrimp tasting fishy and the other dish was cold with uncooked pasta! We paid for the drinks that we could not get refilled and sent the food back and left. We went through McDonald's on the way home. This place is terrible and they ignore you. They know they were serving garbage and they wouldn't even look at us. Never again.
Daughter leaving for military service and son heading back to college
Service is always the best. The food is great.
Christmas Eve dinner
Server was friendly, kids liked their meals, wife enjoyed her lamb shank, my "ribeye" was 100% sirloin, was ok, but not worth $28. Sad beer selection, no draft, no local, no seasonal. Wife said her glass of wine was ok. So overall, it was ok, but not $100 ok (including 20% tip).
Great service and great spaghetti. We were stuffed and happy.
The food and service was great! We actually had the whole place to ourselves, I hope they survive the pandemic.
I love the waiter. We have had him help us several times and he has been absolutely amazing every single time. Food was so amazing and made fantastic leftovers. I love this place.
They didn’t have the Thanksgiving meal any more, I was told than by 2:00 o’clock were out our reservation was at 6:30 Thanksgiving meal was the Reason for us to be there.
Our appetizer came almost cold and 0:20 min later with our kids meal almost cold too. The menu it’s very limited after they didn’t have the meal we were there for so small menu and I almost forgot my meal and my kid meal was salty too on top of everything else. We decided to stay because we did not have a plan B but very disappointed.
Excellent service on Thanksgiving and during Covid. Staff was awesome. Food was good.
We had an enjoyable evening, amazing food, and great recommendations and service by both our server and the chef/ manager that came out to check on how we were doing. Thanks for being wonderful!
It was empty in the restaurant and our pasta did not have enough shrimp.
I signed up for their emails and they are very generous with take-out and dine-in offers. Clean and airy indoor seating. Generous servings. Friendly service. Chicken parmesan was huge, crispy and tasty!
We dine at Romano's Macaroni Grill often and what we like best about it is that meals are prepared fresh and really are flavorful! We were also very impressed with our server Jayme. She is very pleasant, friendly and most of all attentive. This is now a second time she has waited on us and we're really enjoyed the experience, despite the setbacks of COVID-19. Diners can feel safe dining in, where the restaurant has made accommodation to keep tables apart. The restrooms are also well maintained and have hot water and pliantly of hand soap and paper towels.
Horrible. The food was salty. The steak was hard. The waitress never refilled our drinks. We waited a while for her to bring us a to go box and the check. Horrible. Never again will I go there.
There’s a reason why I haven’t been to one in years. Not the best experience. Management was lousy and server was not the brightest. lots of mistakes.
Great value and good food. Service was excellent. A good choice for a non-event dining out.
Not what I remembered it to be. Higher price, smaller portions, quality lower
While it was great overall experience, the singer put the evening over the top! He has a remarkable voice and I felt like I was eating in an opera house! Hope you keep this guy!
Wonderful!
Ordered an ultimate Bellini but it wasn’t really. It was good, but not what I was expecting. Food got cold quickly. Waiter — Johnny — was very attentive.z
The service was great but that was it. We chose to come here to try a new Italian place and we will not be coming back. Our appetizer was cold, so the server got us a "fresh" one. I got the seafood pasta and the asparagus was not even cooked. I also got a side of broccolini which was so hard and raw. My boyfriend got the steak and it was extremely overcooked. And then the bill ended up being $100! Thankfully our server was very empathic but overall it was awful. Never coming back.
