Romano's Macaroni Grill - Redlands
Book your next event with us
No longer have any Macaroni Grill's near where I live in Claremont, CA and wish we did. The restaurant we had closed down! Met a friend at the Redland's location for lunch and just loved the Italian sausage and rigatoni dish. It was simply delicious! The vegetable soup with hot Italian sausage was also wonderful. Would order these dishes again as well as trying others. Recommend this restaurant. you will not be disappointed in the food - at least at the Redlands location!
Food and service was very good. Nice quiet atmosphere!
Great food and service. A little expensive, but the food is really delicious.
We had a most Excellent Waitress. Very knowledgeable about the menu. Two of us accepted her suggestions and were very happy!
Horrible experience. We had a reservation, and we still had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated on a Thursday. It took 25 minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us to take our drink order. And took a long time to come take our order for food and everything. She was nice and sweet, maybe they were just understaffed. The food is mediocre at best, most of it was over cooked and not worth the high price points.
For being Father’s Day we were promptly sat and the service was outstanding!
Can never go wrong eating at Macaroni Grill.
I will write only what I want!
We had a group of 11, as we celebrated a high school graduation. We didn’t get there til 9:00 for a 9:15 reservation, table was ready, server was ok, but you could tell he didn’t want that size of a table at the end of the night. I thought the restaurant might do something special for the graduate, but they didn’t... it would’ve been a nice touch. Over all it was just “ok”. Bathrooms are tired & locks not working the best.
My family and I arrived shortly after opening. We made reservations but did not need them. The food was great! Service was excellent!
Food was decent but the service left much to the imagination. I think if they just hired a few more people - things would have been ok. Unfortunate my last 3 experiences here ...have all left me with disappointment...and the lingering question of, ‘Do I really want to give this higher princes venue another shot...it’s dinner, not brain surgery...hire a few more staff...please.
I recommend with some reservations...The busboy was crabby and the waitress, while pleasant and friendly, didn’t know the current menu specials. The bread was served underdone, and there was a wait for a nicely browned loaf. Our meal (a ribeye steak) was supposed to come with Brussels sprouts and was delivered with asparagus instead. When I asked about it, the waitress kindly offered to bring the sprouts, but then came back saying they didn’t have any. Again, she was very nice about all this, but it was still a bit frustrating. She did offer a second salad to make up for it. The Bibb lettuce salad was really delicious, though it was served with dressing on it when I’d asked for dressing on the side. Still very tasty and not drowning in dressing.
Excellent service!! Loved the food too!!
Our dining experience was great overall. We did have to wait a little for our food because of a mixup in the kitchen but our waitress gave us bread to have while waiting more than once.
Enjoyed a birthday dinner for our grandson. Service was very good as was the food! We’ll come back.
Beautiful setting for our family’s Mother’s Day celebration. Great food, wonderful service and good company makes for a memorable experience. Thanks to the staff of this great restaurant. Keep up your welcoming hospitality and efficient service. We will be returning again and again.
Mediocre service and food. We were very disappointed. The restaurant also very dirty, including the bathrooms. The men’s bathroom was so dirty that we only used it out of necessity. One of the toilet seats was broken. This was a bad experience after not having visited this restaurant in a long time. We won’t be back.
The bread was fresh and delicious. Our server, Heather, was lovely!
Food was good as always, service was not. Took forever to get drinks, With having a 15 party would have expected to get at least 2 servers. Was very disappointed!
ordered Sunday brunch took 40 minutes to get cold french toast do you want me to continue
The service was great however, we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for our food and some meals and drinks were unavailable. It was very cold and a little noisy as well.
Great experience, good good, good service, good setting!!
Nice service good food
Had to wait about 45 minutes for food but well worth the wait. Our waitress, Heather, was super friendly and nice to talk to!
I've loved RMG for years, but I've eaten there 3 times this year and have been disappointed for a while... I'll be taking a time out for a while. The red sauce is not as good, nor is the bread, and the portion size is diminished, while the prices aren't.
Food was mediocre. Waitress did a good job.
1st timers, made reservations in advance, showed up on time and were seated within 10 min. Our server(Brandon) was very knowledgeable with the menu and answered all questions. Food was delicious!!! No complaints, we will be coming back, thank you
The evening started off being frustrated as we arrived early for our reservation and then preceded to wait 20 minutes for a table. What was the point of a reservation then? The service was good but slow but I put the blame on the kitchen. The kitchen was backed up probably due to restaurant being packed because of Valentine's Day. This to me was the primary cause of why our food and appetizers took forever to come out.
However, once arrived the food for the most part was good. My seafood was good but the noodles were a little undercooked. Overall the a good feeling but the company was better. I would still recommend Romano's Macaroni Grill to people.
I have had better experiences at the Macaroni Grill in the past. It just seemed kinda cold and not very inviting.
The food was excellent the waitress was rude and horrible. She got upset once my party asked about their lunch menu she didn’t want to serve us and asked another waitress to assist us. Very unprofessional and rude
Our experience was poor beginning with the cold coffee and no cream or sugar offered. Had to go find someone to ask for them and only sugar was available. Most of our food was cold when taken to our table. An order of fries arrived when we had finished the meal. The waiter seemed to be in a hurry. He brought us the check just a few minutes after we had gotten our food. Asked if we cared for dessert and turned around before we could respond. Someone from our table had to go find someone to get a dessert menu. The silverware was dirty and dessert was dropped off and the waiter disappeared before we noticed that all of the spoons for the dessert were dirty. Not once were we offered more drinks or had water glasses and coffee refilled like happens at most establishments. The family wished we had gone to Chick-fil-A instead as that would have been luxury dining compared to the Grill. At least the food and coffee would had been hot. It was humiliating having been the one who invited my family there! The atmosphere was nice and it would have made for a wonderful experience if everything else hadn't been so horrible. We ordered salmon and at least that was hot. Everything else made for a very sad experience.
Horrible service. 3 tables that sat after us got their food before us. We ordered as soon as we sat we ended up cancelling our food and leaving after the 3rd table that sat 20 minutes after we did got their food.
I loved our experience for my husband’s birthday February 9th. The waiters were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious!
Wasn’t good. Items were wrong. Took two hours to get food. Poor experience.
Service slow, server inattentive, forgot to bring bread, appetizer, and got one meal wrong. Never offered to refill drinks. Then had to ask several times for dessert and take home box. Usually good, this time not so much.
We love the place we were greeted good and good was awesome and delicious 100 percent coming back again
waay too busy for the few servers they had.
Our waitress was nice, but not quick at fulfilling requests and did not check back to see if anything was needed. 2 out of 3 meals arrived barely room temp. Since we had gone to an early dinner and the restaurant was not crowded, I expected a better experience.
Waitress Marissa was helpful on the menu. The Menu here has more choices then other places. This was my first time here. Lunch was delicious. Definitely coming back.
We had a great time - even with a large party Service was excellent Thank you JOE
Consistent. A great place for good dining and a quiet restaurant for visiting with friends.
