Food and ambiance was spectacular! The service was a little slow but it was Valentine’s Day so they were busy.
We ate here on Valentine's Day and had the special three course dinner. The service and ambiance were excellent. The food was good. We had the steak and potatoes and the shrimp scampi. The steak dish was too peppery and the steak a little dry. The shrimp scampi was delicious. And the cannoli was superb!
My pasta spaghetti with meat sauce was very weak, just tomato sauce with over cooked meat no crushed tomato's. My wife's salmon salad was very good according to her. The service was weak, did not see waitress after she brought drinks, she never came back to see how we were doing. Noise is pretty high because of stone floors. It will do in a pinch, but not upscale so do not expect much.
The restaurant was extremely busy on New Year’s Eve, but the food was great. We truly enjoyed our meals.
I had made a reservation and i was not seated until almost an hour after my reservation time. I was told I had to wait until a 2 seat booth was cleaned. Once seated 2 tables near me were left uncleared through out the whole time I was seated. Others could have been seated. Now I see why I had to wait so long. The service from our waitress was great! The food was good.
sunday night - reservations 615 P, seated 635P, no food until almost 730P.
We went for lunch on Sunday and were well-received. Our group was seated immediately and our server was wonderful. She took our orders and got everything right. There was something on the menu for everyone. Definitely worth going.
Family reunion Food ordinary. Service poor. Waitress could not cope with the size of our party. Had a room all by ourselves and that was very good.
My mothers and My kids grandmother’s 82nd birthday it was a disaster our first server seems like he was drunk or high or on drugs but he wasn’t present, he got our orders wrong and the second server actually did a really good job to try to play catch-up with what the other guy had done disastrously. The manager did give us some money off of our order but honestly I don’t think I would return. I think that the server who sang to my mother made her day so she was truly amazing.
I have been patronizing Macaroni Grill since it first opened . Last week I ordered chicken scallopine, which I have had many times. When it arrived, I thought perhaps I’d gotten the wron entree because it was different than anything I’d even previously served. I asked the waiter what it was. She said , “It’s what you ordered.”I went along with this just to be nice, which was a mistake. . The food was terrible! The pasta was WAY over cooked which may have accounted for the weird sauce over the over cooked vegetables, which looked as if it had been thickened with corn starch. The chicken, which was was barely recognizable. I brought it home and gave it to my dog. She, however, enjoyed it. An
Italian restaurant needs to employ people who know how to cook Italian food.
Good Food; more Italian style food and nice inside area
Good service but it was a bday and our server forgot about it even after getting reminded . So it turned out to be just another dinner
Asked for Bday song and cake but it wasnt done...
Cool place and romantic place
The service by our waitress was outstanding. The food and follow up by the manager not so much. Our tomato soup was way too acid, the the lobster bisque was way too salty. We ordered an extra creamy Fettuccine Alfredo and while the sauce and chicken were great, the noodles were fully cooked and we returned the plate only to have just a bit better but not by much (very disappointed in the plate). We also ordered the cheese ravioli and while the taste was the same we had the same issue that the raviolis were too hard, when bitting into them they were literally crunchy. Very disappointed with the food.
Great service! Great food! Overall great experience!
We had a coupon for two-for-one on chicken parmesan, which was a great deal. We opened with salads, which were refillable. And the chicken parmesan (with spaghetti) was delicious. I also liked being able to see the NBA playoff game on the TVs in the bar area.
The pizza was burnt, the chicken marsala and scalopini were so saucy and the chicken was like rubber. We would not go back. We have gone to other macaroni grills and they were awesome. I am not sure what is wrong here.
Everything was amazing
Made a reservation, joined their e-club, and mentioned I would be celebrating my birthday as well (added comment on special occasion as part of Open Table reservation). I have been to this location before, loved the menu and the ambiance.
Granted, this was Mothers Day, but what we experienced makes me never want to go to any Macaroni Grill. I also have doubts about making Open Table reservations for special occasions.
We had extremely poor service. It was a busy day, but we were stuck there two hours. It was an hour to get our food delivered. Then, two of our orders were wrong. When the incorrect items were delivered, we told our server. She asked if we could try it and eat it anyways. When she returned, I told her it was my birthday celebration and my Mothers Day outing and that I really would like the meal I ordered. Once corrected, I was missing items. I had to ask twice for my complete meal. My boyfriend never did get his correct meal. To avoid conflict, he ate something he did not order, and did not enjoy. The chicken was breaded and deep fried and tough as leather. My daughter's french toast was burned and very skimpy with two small raspberries and half a strawberry. It made it look like they were running out of berries. None of us were pleased.
There was no acknowledgement of my birthday, and we are sorry we chose this location to celebrate. When we got the bill, it was not correct. I showed the server I had an e-club discount and she acknowledged it, but forgot in the few minutes it took to prepare our bill. It was corrected and we were glad to leave -- two hours after arriving.
I hate complaining and conflict, but YOU ASKED for a review. Still sad when I think about it. I thought about telling the manager about our experience, but we were just so happy to leave.
We went on Mother’s Day and it took 1 1/2 hours to get our food. Only after we complained did the manager come over and apologize. Terrible customer service.
We had reservations for Mother's Day. I normally don't write reviews like this, but the experience was so horrible that I want others to be able to read this before making a decision to go to Macaroni Grill, especially on Mother's Day. Our food took 90 minutes to arrive after we ordered. After we had been waiting for our meal for 30 minutes, the server stopped coming to our table altogether. After an hour, we had to get the manager to get our food. Once our order came out, mine was completely wrong, and my father's was partially wrong. I waited for another 20 minutes for my meal while my family ate - they had finished eating when my food arrived the second time, which was wrong again, but I chose to eat it. This was the worst Mother's Day restaurant experience I have ever had or could have ever imagined.
It was a busy Mother's Day and the waitress was attentive and quick. The food was wonderful as well.
