Although we made the reservation and called ahead as we were celebrating a retirement, we still had to wait to be seated. I could understand if they were busy, but half these restaurant was empty. They seemed to squeeze our table of seven into an area not made for that many people, again while half tdee restaurant was empty. I had to go back to the hostess and ask if someone was covering our table because no one had come to our table after sitting there for 15 minutes. Someone who was not supposed to be our server ended up helping us the entire night. Food was okay, but it took a long time to get it and we were pretty frustrated by then. We had ordered a cake for the retirement and they never brought it to us, just the check. Was very disappointed when we spoke to the manager and all he said was that he had put a note on our reservation about the cake and didn't know why they didn't bring it. This is the second time we have had an experience like this at this location and I'm not sure we will go back.
Our server was friendly, however she was not very informative. I ordered a Cesar salad as my meal after our apps, my husband order a pasta dish. His pasta dish came out and she said my salad had to be remade because the cook forgot to put the dressing on the side. By the time my salad came out, my husband was finished and there were no croutons on my salad. I asked about the croutons and she said they must have been out. Well a Cesar salad isn’t much without croutons. I wouldn’t have ordered it had i known. She didn’t apologize or offer me something different. I just ate the lettuce and cheese. I would think after the salad coming out 15 minutes after my husbands meal and incomplete, they wouldn’t have charged me for it, but they did. And the manager never stopped by our table once.
We had to wait a long time to get our drinks and the lobster ravioli we ordered was cold on the inside of the ravioli’s. The salmon and artichoke dip were really good though.
This location has changed for the better in the last 6 months. Having management and staff that care really shows at this location.
Was so excited to go there for my first time. Got right in on our reservation time. Server was very cheerful and smiley. Great bar service. Food left much to be desired. I had the lasagna and the sausage in it was burnt. Could not eat it. My husband had the spaghetti. Looked fabulous but flavor was so-so. Not bad but nothing to brag about. Plenty of other restaurants to go to. Sorry.
Steve made everything so much fun. The food was great and the service was outstanding!
We said we were there celebrating a birthday and they did not even acknowledge
No complaints. It’s chain Italian and it fills you up. Good for a quick meal.
Food was good , service very good. Disappointed that no longer serving decaf coffee, only expresso decaf. Never been to a restaurant that didn't serve decaf
We stopped going to Macaroni Grill for about 6 years because the food was just started getting poor, our order was wrong or the food for our table wasn't given in a timely manner.
We started to go again this last year and the menu is updated and much better, we have great service with one of the servers there specifically. Unfortunately for New Year's Eve we put in our reservation and we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The manager was doing the seating and it was dis organized.
We placed our order after about 10 minutes of being seated but didn't receive our entrees for an hour. Tables who arrived and were seated after us received their food and some left before our food was given.
Our server was too involved with a bigger table then ours and didn't seem concerned that we were just sitting there waiting endlessly. Very disappointed with our evening there on New Year's Eve unfortunately I am sorry to say.
Even with a reservation it was still a 40 min wait which was a drag but understandable.
We arrived on Christmas Day at 5:30 for our 5:30 Reservation. The restaurant was packed with a standing room only crowd. We were told the wait would be about 40 minutes. One in our party cannot stand for that length of time, but we did find room in the bar area. We ended up having our meal in the bar, which wasn’t as nice as the dining area, but we could sit immediately. The servers were great and definitely made up for the fact that our reservation was not as expected. We appreciate the restaurant being open on Christmas and all of the people that worked that day to make our meal special. Top notch staff! Thank you.
They did a great job on Christmas Day being extremely busy. We always liked RMG back in Michigan and we do here as well.
On Christmas day we had a reservation for 330pm.. Wasn't seated until 415pm..
Was told it was Christmas day and the restaurant was busy.
My question was this a surprise?
I believe the restaurant should have been better staffed.
However, after we were finally seated, the Food and the service was excellent.
Avoid holidays all possible but the food was delicious it’s just hard to get 10/10 score when there’s a huge crowd on holidays
They had too many different music/noise. You could hear the TV plus background music was playing loud hard to talk to people at table.
Diane was our server very good and knowledgeable of items.
The food and ambience was awesome .. great service .. only down side was a 1 hr wait despite having a reservation .. granted it was Christmas Eve .. and effort was made to make it up to us .. all in all a great culinary experience
Great meal and service. Terrific value. Fast service and good energy.
Macaroni Grill has been a long time favorite of ours....Last year Thanksgiving dinner was outstanding..This year, however, it was a major disappointment...the food was cold, they had apparently run out of turkey gravy and used beef gravy instead, no cranberry relish and they had run out of the cheesecake dessert that was suppose to come with the meal....the waitress was fine and when she inquired if we wanted to- go boxes, we explained with the above...I saw her then go talk to what I assumed was the manager who briefly glanced over to our table and then went about her business. Most of the time when a customer reports a problem the manager comes over and talks to you...she did not!!! They were understaffed and a lot of inexperienced help. The manager is apparently out of her league and needs some more training and/or experience. We will return as this is not the typical experience but felt it was necessary to bring this to the Upper Manager/Owner level.
Food and service were great, this was a busy night for them. The staff busted their b—s to take care of everyone, and from our perspective they did. Was a 101/2 at least.
Had a good meal on Thanksgiving day. Restaurant was very busy but our server Ray made the meal very enjoyable.
I’d recommend for their regular menu. Thanksgiving turkey dinner was very disappointing. Turkey was heavily seasoned with rosemary. Brussel sprouts were hard and overly peppered. The best parts of the dinner was the lobster bisque and the cheesecake.
Enjoyed their Thanksgiving meal in prior years, but they seem to have made some changes to cut costs. They removed an item that I loved, sweet potato/butternut squash mash. They did not serve cranberry sauce. They overcooked the Brussels sprouts, so they were not anywhere near “crispy” as described on the menu.
Well we had reservations but we’re told when we were seated it may take awhile to be waited on because the servers had just been slammed with new tables even though it was hardly crowded. Then we weren’t waited on for 30 minutes. We went to the bar to get our own drinks. The restaurant slowly got full but our server (although she was nice) couldn’t rennet you bring anything we had asked for. Extra serving ware, the kids drinks, our soup before our meal, bread to the table, a bag for the to go dinner we bought.
The servings were extremely small. My son in law got Mac and cheese with bruscutto and they forgot to put that in and brought the amount a a tablespoon to him not the mention the Mac and cheese looked like a kid’ s serving.
Overall we were very disappointed.
The menu changed and there wasn't any indication that it had - the Parmesan crusted soul came with a different side. Credit to the waitress who took off $20 for the oversight.
We were a party of 12. 7/12 guests food was cold. Casie was a great server. The ambiance is always beautiful. The food is always tasty.
Service was ridiculously and unjustifiably slow. They were not many patrons and for my family of 4 it took two hours from beginning to end. Our order did not consist of any special requests, and we did not order appetizers either.
On a positive note, when food did arrive, it was pretty awesome
We were sat next to a party that had a kid running barefoot through the restaurant. Our food was brought out before our appetizers. It just seemed very disorganized.
the server seemed more interested in visiting with other employees than serving our table
Thank you for accomondating our group from Unit 34 at PebbleCreek. We had a very nice time. Our waitress was very good. The bread could have been more hot. Meals were delivered in a good and timely manner.
Under-staffed, overpriced, food was not as good as it was when we visited previously. Overly seasoned, small portions, poor tasting. This store could use a manager and proper staff.
Service was slow. We got there at 4, they took our drink order and then our food. We didn’t see our waitress for at least 40 minutes and they we’r busy. All of our glasses were empty, she came back to fill our glasses we asked for more bread. She let us know our dinner will be out shortly. We got our meals at 4:50 and 3 out of 4 were cold. We sent our food back and then decided to just leave. We won’t be going back.
We wanted to celebrate Fathers Day early, we just got back from a funeral after long flights and just wanted our favorite salad. The kitchen was short staffed, took forever to get our food and when we did it was cold. My salad was absolutely gross drenched in dressing. It was absolutely awful and no one came to apologize for the short staff or the food. I have been coming here for years and after this I don’t think I’ll ever come back.
Went for brunch, apparently the cook didn't know how to prepare any of the items yet. My family ordered dinner which was also terrible. On top of it all, we waited 30 mins for it, it came out dry and tasteless. Our server Andrea was great though.
Fast, friendly service from our server Madison! Great tasting food, drink & dessert!!
Our Anniversary and our server was awesome.
We noticed that the service from the bar area was slow it appeared the person working could not handle the volume of orders and left the bar area a couple of times to get something.
Otherwise our experience was great!
Food was okay. Typical chain Italian food. They were all out of makers mark whiskey yet continued to advertise happy hour / drinks that used it which was sad. Service was good and people were polite. It's an ok place to eat every once in a while if you get sick of olive garden
Our table was ready at the time of reservations. Our waitress was excellent, even when she was about to give birth, food came hot and correct. Our group of 9 left full and very happy!
We chose this place only because they were one of the few places taking reservations for Mother's Day. When we got there we noticed they weren't as busy as neighboring food places...this should've been a warning. Macaroni Grill is a little on the pricier side compared to other similar restaurants but in the past the food's been ok. Tonight though the food was way below their usual standards. Our noodles around our table weren't fully cooked, my chicken dish literally had 4 little pieces of chicken, it took an hour an a half for me to get my food, which was weird because the table besides me, who ordered after I did, got their food first... same dish too!!. Our waitress was nice and for the most part, on top of things. The bread and salad was ok. Because it took my food so long to come out, they did give me free desert, I would've preferred decent tasting entrees though. No one in my party will ever return to Macaroni Grill, it's a good thing we have other Italian food options.
