Romano's Macaroni Grill - Lake Buena Vista

Braised Lamb Shank
tender braised lamb shank, marsala demi-glace, buttermilk mashed potatoes
Pasta di Mare
scallops, mussels, jumbo shrimp, fettuccine, white wine, imported pomodorina, garlic, red chile
Service was slow and the food took a long time to come out. Small things like drink refills and bringing another plate for people sharing a meal should be easy to remember.
The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice.
Very nice service and friendly people with great value.
Food was amazing. Felt kind of neglected by our server. She gave off the vibe she didn’t want to be there.
We chose this restaurant for a special dinner to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Terrific meal & service! The manager was so kind to us & Tiffany our server was very attentive. We have dined here several times over the years & will continue to do so. We highly recommend this restaurant!
I took my daughter here because she wanted pasta. We were the only ones there for a bit. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was amazing.
Not many customers do extremely quiet - all was fine but food was not superb
Would really like the mushroom soup to return - menu regular or at least as a special
Delicious Italian dinner for a party of 8. Great server and great cuisine!
An amazing enjoyable meal with friends. Not rushed at all.
Taylor was the best server hands down I have ever encountered. I am not only saying this because I'm part of the Brunner family. But he was beyond amazing. Made me and my party of 7 family feel so welcomed. I wish there were more servers like us in the world. Keep up the good work!!
Our visit was three days after the reopening of restaurants in Florida. There were only three other couples seated during our dinner. Food is what we hoped for as we don't have a Romano's within 125 miles of our home. The server was very attentive too. Even with few customers he could have been less attentive without our noticing it. We enjoyed the quiet time.
Excellent dining experience this evening. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and our waitress, Carly.
The food was very good but sauce on the pasta was cold. Desert was outstanding service was good considering was new.
The food was really good, the service was prompt and efficient. The server was polite, friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!
Excellent place to eat for that special moment. Service is top notch. A bit pricey is the only downside, so we keep it to special occasions only.
Slowest service in town. Had to ask for everything multiple times. There was literally a Trump rally in the back part of the restaurant. No thank you.
Took grandchildren, age 6 and 9, out for a bite. Arrived at 6:55 for 7:00 reservation, was seated 7:45.
Only one hostess, very busy.
Celebrating my 50th birthday
I went for Valentine's Day with my Girlfriend & 3yr old Son. I had a reservation and they put me and my family into a booth witch was comfortable. The next big thing that I was worried about was the quality of the food, and I have to say I really liked the food. Thank you for helping me have a good experience on Valentine's Day with my family 🙏
We have a reservation and waiting more then 40 minutes.
I made reservations for our family to avoid a long wait, knowing it was Valentine’s Day. We checked in a half hour prior to our 8:45 PM reservation. At 8:45 I checked with the gentleman trying to handle the many unhappy people waiting and was told that it would likely be another 45 minutes. I asked for an explanation and was gruffly told that he didn’t have one, just that they were behind and that Open Table caused them to be over booked. I tried to be friendly and reasonable but was I got in return was rudeness and unprofessionalism. We were finally seated at 9:15. My son’s were so tired they were barely interested in eating. At this point the restaurant was clearing out, with about 2/3rds of the restaurant full. I asked the person who sat us if we could get some water. He said he would “try to find our server.” At this point I set a timer. At 6:00 minutes, after no server had approached us, I asked a server, who approached the table of a party that had been seated AFTER we had, if she was our server. She said no but she would get her. “Her” turned out to be Tiffany, who arrived at our table just shy of 9 minutes after we were sat. She was pleasant but seemed frazzled. It was clear that it had been a long stressful night for her and that she was unwell, as demonstrated by her sneezy towards me and her runny nose. I actually felt sorry for her. We placed our drink and food order immediately to avoid any further delay. The food was okay, the service was still very slow and we just cut our losses. We eat at Romano’s frequently and from start to finish, this was not up to the standards that we expect. I will not return to this location.
Very good experience for a valentines dinner. They were very busy but the service and food were pretty good.
Had reservations but didn’t get sat for almost 30 minutes past our reservation time. Tried to get a drink at the bar, but didn’t even get acknowledged at the bar. Happy Hour was only at the bar and with zero bar service i felt it should have been at the entire restaurant. Appeared as though they had a lot of call ins or didn’t staff enough for the night.
Last minute vday reservation. It was packed but we got seated quickly. The service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and delicious.
We hadn't eaten at a Romano's for a while, so we were looking forward to it. The menu still has a lot of options, making it difficult to decide. Hub got his usual chicken park and it was delicious. I got the trio, and all three dishes were tasty and good sizes. We both got the addl soup/salad, and we enjoyed that, too. Our server was as busy as could be, but was still very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it.
Calamari was over cooked and burnt. They remade when we said dont bother. Second batch was the same. Pollo caprese had 3 small 1/2teaspoons of mozzarella and a few tomatoes chopped on the side. the chicken was a flat frozen tough piece with predone grill marks on it. When the waitress cleared the salad plates she took the bread as well. Server seemed frazzled but only had a few tables and the whole restaurant wasn’t even 1/3 full when we were there
We haven't been to a Macaroni Grill in quite some time. Our meal was excellent, and the service was excellent as well. If we lived locally, we would return immediately. Our waitress, who was from Romania............I can't remember her name, was excellent. Thanks for a nice pre-Disney Marathon meal.
Terrible experience. I made a reservation via Open Table at Romano´s Macaroni Grill for Saturday January 4th at 10.45 PM for 10 persons. When I arrived there at 10.55 (just 10 min late), the manager in a very rude way told me the kitchen was closed since 10.30 PM and he said he just couldn´t find my reservation !!!....and he almost slammed the door in my face. Made me feel very unconfortable in front of my whole family. We were to celebrate my son´s birthday there!!!... and then there were ten of us including two babies at 11.00 PM looking for somewhere else to eat!!!!....so guys....beware of the dog (sorry beware of the manager) !!!!...I know it was late, but why the accepted a reservation a 10.45 PM if the kitchen closes at 10.30 PM????!!!....I would never go back there in my whole life....ever!!!!
Best meal for New Year’s Day!
Too busy and they could not keep up. Food tasted funny. Not sure what to think
My husband and I went on Christmas Day. The employees were nice and cheerful, but the attention to detail was lacking. They had a 3-course meal special for $25. I wanted the salmon from the special because it was the best deal (the salmon plate costs $21.50 by itself), but they were out, and it was only 6PM (the restaurant closed at 9PM). I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana instead, but got the eggplant parmigiana mistakenly. I also ordered the pumpkin spice cannoli and got the regular cannoli. My Italian Herb soup was good, but the bowl it was served in was too big, so the presentation was poor. We were satisfied with the food per se, but the overall experience was less than average.
It was a great place to hold an office Christmas party. Service and food were wonderful!! Price was good too.
We had dinner at Macaroni Grill. I had the Chicken Scaloppini. That is a fabulous entree. The problem with my dinner was that the chicken was small, dry, tough and not hot. The rest of the dish was hot so it seems like they must precook the chicken and just heat it up for this dish. My husband and I also got a takeout a few days later to bring to our Resort. The resort was just down the street from the restaurant. The chicken in this dish again was small, dry, tough and again not hot. It is very sad as this is one of the best entrees you serve at the Macaroni Grills. You should look into getting a different chicken source. Cheesecake Factory uses Black Label chicken and their chicken is always tender and juicy. I Don’t think they precook their chicken. The other choice is to not precook the chicken so it won’t dry out. Just some thoughts.
Lovely meal. Great portions
The food was good and great atmosphere. The service was terrible! The waiter took our order and he was basically done. We had to get up to get our own drinks and our order came out incorrectly.
Made reservation a few days in advance for Thanksgiving, specifically because they were offering a Thanksgiving meal.
We arrived earlier at 6:50pm and by 7pm we had placed our order of Turkey dinners.
The food was taking a while, and then we were notified that there were no more Thanksgiving meals. Needless to say we were very disappointment.
I have my dining receipt of attending and I’m aggravated at the restaurant for saying that I was a no show! 😡😡
I would like to be contacted and my greeter and server was named Sheryl
They were extremely understaffed and badly managed in some casas under trained staff. Our waiter never stopped he worked hard but had way too many tables without any help. There appeared to be a bus boy delivering food but not helping with refills or clean up.
We waited 15 mins before anyone even came and gave us water and bread. And nobody came around to refill.
The actual food tasted good. But we didn’t get the soups we ordered or the table side dishes.
Hopefully for them just a bad night and not a standard.
Miranda was great—-lovely space, great entrees!
Great waiter who was running like crazy trying to keep up. However, managment cut wait staff and then triple sat the waiter and offered zero assitance. Manager could be seem just standing chatting with the kitchen staff. Restaurant was nearly empty, only 3-4 tables and our waiter was given 3 of them at the same time. Great waiter, extremely poor management.
