    The food was very dry. Poor quality. Then to top things off the food was cold. Service was very bad , waiter was nasty. We will not ever be to another restaurant with this name

    We made Open Table reservations for our anniversary. Upon arrival we advised we had a reservation. We were told it didn’t matter and we were taken to our table. Before we could even sit down our server was there asking what we’d like to drink. We advised we’d like to get settled in and look at the menu before placing a drink order. We told our server we had a reservation and he too said doesn’t matter. We said a third time we have Open Table reservations and need to be “checked in” to get our points. The Manager finally did this. We asked about sparkling water and were told it was San Pellegrino. My husband said he would have a glass and he was served a glass of Pinot Grigio. We were provided with a loaf of bread that was so hard & stale that we couldn’t cut it, even using a “saw knife”. I ordered an entree with the $3 unlimited add on of tomato soup and my husband ordered a build you own pasta with a double protein add on. The Manager brought our entrees without any sign of the soup, so I advised her I no longer wanted the soup. Our server checked back in and asked if I got my soup - I told him “no” and said I no longer wanted it. Our entrees were passable - I had chicken Marsala and it was full cloves of garlic which I picked out - I counted 13. Overall my meal was oily and not very tasty. My husband’s Alfredo was just a plain runny white sauce. Our bill came and sure enough I charged for that soup. In addition, for the build your own pasta it’s $3.50 to add protein OR $5 for 2 proteins. We were charged $3.50 twice instead of $5. We called over our server and pointed out the errors. We were brought a new bill - this time the soup was gone and the protein was gone but now we were being charged for a full 3rd entree. Again we called our server over to have this corrected. The Manager brought us the corrected bill and apologized and said it was her fault. Don’t really care whose fault - to be handed 2 incorrect bills is not ok.

    Our service was fine however our food was not. Condiments were served in plastic ramekins. The calamari was over cooked and no seasoning for taste. In the seafood ravioli, two of the raviolis were completely empty, just a flat noodle. The bread tasted as if it was warmed up from the day before. This is not the experience expected from this restaurant. We will not be back

    We waited over 30 minutes before we were told it would be over 60 MORE minutes before we would get our food…so we had to leave without eating!!! Reservations don’t matter if the restaurant is this bad

    Main dinning area had no body eating at 500 told had 45 min wait. After 50 min still no body in dinning area 550. Lucky we had a reservation sat in bar to eat. Don't understand why dinning room was not used. Servers standing around

    Our first impression was not good and we almost left before ordering. We had a reservation and when we arrived, the slow walking hostess (I think it was a woman…dressed in a tacky sweatshirt) had difficulty seating us although there were only about 10 tables taken in the whole restaurant. She had to call the manager to help her decide where to sit is and he had a hard time too. We thought they were going to turn us away. No explanation was offered. After being seated, we realized they were understaffed. The floor was filthy throughout the restaurant and we felt this would not be a good experience. HOWEVER, our waitress saved the day. She was incredible. She was working harder by far than the clowns who sat us. She brought her ‘A Game’ to the table and was incredibly fast and efficient although she had little help. Our food was on the table very quickly and we had a great meal. Her service and hospitality was second to none. I wish I’d caught her name- blonde woman. Kudos to her for her work ethics and efficiency under her work conditions.

    Unfortunately the lack of available staff made for a very quiet restaurant; not what Macaroni Grill is particularly known for. Only three servers worked the entire restaurant so it was pretty much empty except for nine tables and, in that room, it was quiet. Also, I might note the dipping sauce was "rancid". Didn't want to complain, our server had her hands full and she was doing her best to maintain a smile and work smart. I appreciate that she showed up for work as so many in the service industry simply aren't. Left her a generous tip.

    Walked In to a very empty restaurant but hostess said it would be a while the bartender was the only person serving tables which was untrue after 10 mins of waiting the manager came and things picked up speed and we were seated our server Steve did a great job if the review was just for Steve it would be 5 stars but the food wasn't very great between the food and hostess 3 stars

    Enjoyed my meal, enjoyed my chocolate covered strawberries., waitress was exceptional she’s was the ONLY server for Valentine’s day if I recall correctly. There was a disgruntled man cussing the whole restaurant out but other than that great service!

    Yesterday's lunch was not impressive. I ordered the Mama's Trio My chicken parmesan was burnt, the fettuccini could have came from from another less expensive chain store. The restaurant was very cold we both had to leave our coats on the entire time. The restrooms needed a lot of attention. It was only 2pm and not a lot of customers at that time. I cannot imagine how the store was at the end of the evening.

    There was not a big crowd of people so the restaurant was quieter than it typically would be which made it so nice to have conversations. Our waiter was attentive and very polite. Our food portion was reasonable for the price. We had lasagna.

    I wish I didn’t have to choose any stars. This restaurant could not even seat us because they only had 2 servers all evening, one which was their bar tender. I would have totally understood if they said they did not have the staff to serve us when we arrived at our reservation time. instead they let us wait for almost 20 minutes until disclosing that we would not be served before our event that evening. We should have been told to try another restaurant. If there is a shortage in staffing then those that make reservations should be given priority over walk ins. I hope you are able to obtain staffing in the future.

    Rating a restaurant during a pandemic seems a bit unfair, especially if it relates to the service. However, in this case, the service was OK despite only having 2 servers. Unfortunately, the food was subpar at best...more like what one would expect from Fazoli's or something from a mall food court. Not the typical Macaroni Grill quality of food for sure. Both dishes we ordered lacked quality and flavor and certainly not worth ~$20 per plate. With far better options available, we have likely made our last visit to what is the only Macaroni Grill remaining in TN. Maybe there's a reason for that...

    Levi made this possibly the best dining experience of my life. He was so considerate, engaging, and timely. He gave us great advice on our food and made us feel like we were his main priority! Levi deserves any and every promotion.

    Ever been let down so much that you just don't have the energy to complain? Yes, it was that bad. From waiting on a reservation, to long wait times even for water, and even spoiled sauce that caused my girlfriend to puke it out in the bathroom. I could write a book. Honestly, if it was a walk-in, I wouldn't be surprised, but for a reservation based restaurant I expected more. I am especially disappointed in OpenTable for even associating with this restaurant. I was curious why all the reservation windows were open when other surrounding restaurants were not accepting new reservations. Now I understand why.

    We were going here before we went to the grand ole opry show. Made reservations at 5pm. Show at 7:00pm. We didn’t get our food until 6:25pm. Had to gulp it done and didn’t even finish it. The food tasted great but then got indigestion. We thought we had plenty of time before the show. Had to eat if fast then run to the opry. We made it in time but unfortunately did not enjoy our dinner. To take to get food over an hour after ordering is unheard of. Our waiter was very apologetic due to the fact they did not have the help. I understand this and it wasn’t his fault. But the kitchen should of been a little faster.

    We made reservations early since we were going to see the show at the Opry. Food was good and we had a great waiter. But unfortunately, it seemed like this Macaroni Grill suffers the same thing all restaurants are going through right now — a lack of staff.

    Our waitress was wonderful and tried so hard. The fact is the place was sad. The manager appeared stressed, the restaurant was mostly empty, hardly any staff at all. The food was bland. I felt bad for the people working hard there. We won’t return.

    Reservations were required this day due to a large party and short staff due to coming out of Covid. Several walkups were turned away. Probably would not happen once normal staffing achieved.
