Romano's Macaroni Grill - Opry Mills
I enjoyed a reasonably low calorie pasta Pomodoro Terraccini- it was delicious! Service was great.
Food was cold. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. Waitress was horrible. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Food was cold and nasty.
The food was delicious and our server was very helpful and attentive, though it took a long time to be served when we first sat down. The atmosphere was very poor. The restaurant was not clean, the floors were filthy, and the total environment was nothing like we’ve experienced at other Macaroni Grills.
We walked in for our reservation to find only 3 of about 30 tables occupied. No less than 15 tables were empty, dirty, and unbussed. They stayed that way throughout our meal. In fact, our waiter cleared our appetizer plates onto the dirty booth next to ours. Food was not terribly good either. If you’re at the mall and need to eat, go to Mission BBQ, Chuy’s, or the Biergarten.
Used to be a favorite destination. I couldn’t have been more dissatisfied with an experience as I was on Thursday. Bad service, bad food… just bad. The restaurant was almost completely empty. There appeared to be three total employees working, completely devoid of any standards.
Tables not cleared the entire time we were there
Went to get dinner before a show and found the restaurant mostly empty with multiple dirty tables and people being shooed away if no reservation. The waiter was minimally making an effort, the food was minimally acceptable, and fort the amount spent, it was not worth it. I worry that this location does not have the management to successfully weather there coming months.
It was ok not anything spectacular.
Very nice. Food was excellent.
Food was good and so was service. Wish that the peasant bread would have been hot and that they still served the sticky toffee pudding cake.
Mother’s Day and Covid but seating was somewhat socially distanced. Suspect there were staffing issues but not confirmed.
Pellegrino served in bottle, glasses provided upon request but were warm as if fresh from dishwasher.
Caprese Salad appetizer was without basil, tomatoes were cold and flavorless, mozzarella was skimpy and altogether the worst impression of a Caprese salad ever halfway endured.
Pasta entrees were barely sauced and not seasoned well. Black pepper and salt helped but did not resolve the blandness.
Altogether an embarassing outing for Mother’s Day which will never be repeated for any reason. Will never return to any Macaroni Grill again. Thanks but no thanks.
Good food and service. Food took a little long to get to our table but we enjoyed the bread while we waited.
My food was horrible. The noodles were gummy and stuck together. I sent that back and got the steak and potatoes and it was ice cold. Maybe that day wasn’t a great day🤷🏽♀️
Our waitress was fantastic. We had one issue with the taste of a dish and she fixed the issue without any problem.
PJ was the best server I have ever had. He did a magnificent job, was friendly and Attentive.
This is a much quieter venue than the other choices at Opry Mills. The food is better and much less expensive than the Acquarium.
The floor was concrete, dirty, and sticky throughout the restaurant. The food was average, the waiter was very kind.
Good experience overall but waited about 15 minutes before the waiter returned to the table to take our order, when he had walked past us multiple times. Food was great and fresh! Ambiance was a bit off since we were seated directly across from the bar and by the doors, not a seat I’d recommend if you can avoid it.
The restaurant was very short staffed; the bartender was our server, and several other tables as well. He did great but there were times we waiting for awhile. Our dinners were served about 5 minutes apart.
Service g was good but they had a bartender also waiting our table which made the experience not the best. Food was good as well but not necessarily worth what they are asking for each meal.
We sat in our booth for 15 minutes. No one ever came. We were seated in the bar area. No bar tender was around. Ended up leaving and eating elsewhere.
I had made a reservation and was expecting to be sat a little after arrival, but I had to wait 30 min. even with the reservation. After being sat I wasn’t waited til another 30 more minutes.
Our server was doing the best he could. We visited on a Monday evening at 615. There were two, dos, 2 servers handling the entire front of the house! There was one person in the kitchen. People are stacked at the front door waiting to be seated. People are waiting for drinks and their food. These poor servers are busting their tails trying to clear tables, get orders, seat guests, and handle the front of the house. The management needs to realize that the country is opening back up and hire/ schedule more staff. This reflects poorly on the servers when it isn’t their fault. The food was good, the service suffered because of the lack of staff.
Very understaffed, but very few tables were seated. Waiters and manager were super grumpy
Understaffed unclean tables food was good not going to return
Loud, mall ambiance with screaming kids but wonderful food.
Ffloor was very dirty, waited 10 min for host to come and greet us.
We sat by the fire at the bar and had Gerson taking care of us. He was so personable and really cared about our experience. We will be back!
We had a reservation for St. Valentines Eve. Due to COVI restrictions seating was 50% and they seemed a bit slow on busing tables to seat folks. Once seated the service as great. Steve was on spot an attentive but not bothersome. Wine was good (house red) and the bread was great. We both ordered the build a pasta. The serving was a bit on the small side, however, it was delicious.
Not welcoming, the steak was aweful, service was slow.
The dining experience was great which included, the service, the wine, and the food were excellent.
I had fettuccine with blackened salmon. It had very little sauce on it the noddles were under cooked and the salmon while grilled was not blackened . My wife had lasagna it was very good, we also had stuffed mushrooms they were also very good. My wife had salad it was room temp and wilted. I had lobster bisc it was very good.
Great food, service and atmosphere! We will be back for sure!
Nothing against the waiter at all, he did his job. The food was "eh"...nothing exceptional or that tasty really, we could have spent less and been as satisfied. Olive garden has similar from what we ordered and it's much better.
We had a wonderful server, even though the ambience was a Macaroni Grill attached to a mall. The food was excellent.
Everything was great but only one waiter for the whole restaurant. He did a great job but I’m sure he’s exhausted
Convienent location, good food, fast service, friendly staff
Well serve our purpose of eating someplace nice and within walking distance to The Grand Ole Opry. Food was good the service not so much. Not one Holiday decoration in the tire place and it was Christmas Day.
Went for Christmas dinner. Everything was nice.
