   The meal was pretty good, we were the only people in the restaurant for about the 1st half hour. The entree took a long time to come out of the kitchen. The Murfreesboro location is now closed.

   We were here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, they were having issues with the billing system all of our food came out at one time appetizers and or dinner food was mediocre it was our first time eating here was not very impressed

   Our party of 5 arrived on time for our 6:45 reservation. Our hostess absolutely avoided several groups of people already waiting when we arrived and then avoided eye contact with us at all costs too. She finally began to acknowledge customers, party by party. When it was our turn, we told her we had a 6:45 reservation. It was 6:48 exactly when She said it would be 10-15 minutes and I believe it was more like half and hour before we were seated. We would’ve waited that long somewhere without a reservation so shouldn’t having one shorten that amount of wait time? Our server was decent but the restaurant was understaffed and he was stretched to give his tables the attention we all deserved. He was friendly and apologetic and did his best to make sure we had everything we needed. We did not go without, surprisingly. Food was good. Not amazing, but we were hungry and tired so it was greatly welcomed when it came.

   Called ahead to reserve table whole traveling (7:30 PM on a Sat. night) and told there was a 30-45 min wait. Okaaayyyy. Arrived 15 min later and were greeted by 2 2 hostesses who were completely clueless. We were immediately seated in dining room that had DOZENS of empty tables, at least a dozen of which were empty but had not been bussed. After 15 minutes at table, our server (Bailey) finally came around and apologized for delay, explaining that several people had called in and they were understaffed. We get it, stuff happens. As we waited for drinks to arrive, we watched diners become more and more frustrated, waiting for boxes and checks to arrive. I ordered a dirty martini and bartender served it himself - great drink. Food was mediocre at best. Entrees were lukewarm and quality less than average. Server and bartender worked hard under difficult conditions. Our negative experience was entirely due to lax management. Will not return, ever.

   Normally I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant, however my last experience makes me worried to send anyone there again.

   We received poor service from our waiter. He felt it was necessary to tell us how many tables he had and how much he had to do. He couldn’t remember if he put in our orders and rushed the other customers. The table behind us got up and left because they hadn’t even received their drinks after 20-30 mins. And we sat down at the exact same time. We got our own refills of water as well. We understand it can be tough having several tables, but we also don’t need to know about it or hear the excuses. Luckily the food was good.

   They took way to many resv for the day. We had 9 PM resv and got seated at 10. The food came at 1045.

    Macaroni Grill is me and my husbands all time favorite restaurant. Hence making reservations for Valentines day. When we got there at 8pm it was so crowded in the front of the restaurant with people who were waiting for a table that had already made reservations. I had to squeeze in front just to put my name in. I asked them how long the wait was going to be and they said 45 minutes and we had a reservation. We then tried to go to the bar to get a glass of wine and we sat down at a table that was dirty and a couple was sitting next to us and explained their experience had been awful. They said their food was cold. After my husband waited for about 5 minutes to even get glass of wine, we sat for a second and just kept getting negative feed back. Dishes were piled up all over the place and there were no clean silverware is what we heard. We shared the glass of wine and then I heard them call our name but my husband and I had already decided we were going to go somewhere else because the vibe was so negative. I took another sip of my wine and realized something was in the bottom of the cup which were ashes. So we got up and left. Most horrible experience I have ever had.
