We always enjoy Macaroni Grill when we are in Greenville! We enjoy their pasta dishes. I had lasagna & he had shrimp alfredo! They were great! Service was slow.
Food was adequate and the proportions were terrific. We always enjoy the house wine and bread. The food was properly cooked and tasty but not spectacular. Service was a bit erratic.
Made a reservation only to be put in the bar section booths. Meatball appetizers cold followed by chicken parm and noodles that were cold. Wife’s eggplant parm was fried to carbon status.
The food was immaculate! The service, however was poor and uncoordinated. I will give the place another chance and come back for the food alone, because it was so delicious. Being said, if the service is as bad next time, I will never return again.
Valentine’s Day. Servers were dressed down and too laid back for a pre-fix menu. I ended up having to wait about 10-20 mins and I had a reservation. Overall not impressed.
The waiter tried very hard but everything else was terrible. Comparable priced Italian is much better than this place. Very disappointed.
Took my mom there for Valentine’s Day! There was no wait, and the restaurant was busier than usual but not full. The food was served in a timely manner and was a good amount for the price. Service was slow, but to be expected in a holiday. Overall good experience!
Valentines dinner. Had reservation and seated immediately! They managed the valentines crowd with reservations very well. Food was great. Only con was an employee who was waiting tables but also SHOUTING orders out to other employees across the restaurant and running around like a madman. I Never saw this person there before but he definitely added STRESS to what otherwise was a good experience.
It was one of the best Valentine's Day dinner choice. Arrive just a few minutes early and was seated instantly. The special menu had a great selection charmed by an amazing server. I will definitely choose this location again.
Great neighborhood Italian comfort food when you don't want to think too much about where you are going to park downtown.
Everything was great! The Mac and cheese bites and peppadew peppers were a great start. Followed by the exquisite lobster bisque. The Caesar was a simple salad but the dressing was so yum!
Entrees were phenomenal. I had the shrimp capellini and added capers which sent it over the top. My partner had...rotellini? Idk. It was fab too.
Brittaneigh was amazing covering the bar AND tables. Get it gurl!
It wasnt very busy but our food took forever. It was fine but nothing outstanding.
Great food and great selection! I love the ambiance, makes for a great place to talk over dinner without the loudness of music or noise. The staff is all extremely friendly too, I was very impressed since I had not been in a while. It was a pleasant experience.
Dirty dishes, cold food, 2 hours to get food. Sat right away, no manager to check on service.
Large group of 14, not a busy time in restaurant-service was nice but very slow. Food was ok.
This was one of the worst restaurant experiences that I have had this year, out of five stars I give this trip a two star rating (only because of the handsome manager and the good food). The service however, was terrible. It took almost seven minutes to be greeted, I was not initially informed of all of the menu items that weren’t available that night (I wasn’t able to order any of the appetizers that I wanted), my waitress seemed to prioritize every one of her tables EXCEPT mine, it took TWENTY minutes for me to receive my drink from the bar (the manager had to get it for me), and it took WAY to long for my entrees to come to the table (id know became the entire family that sat at the booth behind me AFTER me received their food first and closed out before we did). Honestly I don’t want to give the restaurant a bad review I just think that the service was really poor
It was a wonderful meal!
Restaurant was run down. Food was not as good as several years ago. Service was good.
We really enjoyed their service and food. The manager was grateful and courteous and our waitress was fantastic.
Nothing special , overpriced for what you end up with . Decent taste , good service
Great food and Great Service!!! Very impressed
Very bad quality of food. Our order was wrong and cold. Manager seemed ho-hum about that when we told him. Floor fans were sitting on bar tops and in the bathroom and it just overall feels like a dump. Too bad because I used to love this place but they’ve really not kept up with the quality and management.
Our waitress was working hard but spread way too thin. The appetizer was good but our entrees were poor. When we arrived there were very few tables occupied. For some strange reason they put us in the bar nearest the entry door.
Food and service was good except we did not get our drinks until after our food. Our server said the bar was slow. Unacceptable!
The waitress was rude at times, but overall provided decent service. But, the food was mediocre for the cost, the spinach artichoke dip had the consistency of soup. The lobster bisque tasted very generic. The food was really underwhelming.
They wrote exactly what I asked on the table for my fiancé birthday and I was very pleased. The food is always excellent whenever we come here, as well as the atmosphere and service.
AC wasn't working with fans spread all ove mr the dining room. Our table didnt get a server, but a bartender that was running all over, and had to make drinks for entire restaurant, while we were neglected. Our appetizers came out cold, one of the salads didn't come, another server jumped in to help, but overall experience was very poor.
Okay , we were looking forward to our dinner. We had not been here in about a year. It takes almost 45 minutes to get there so that is why we had not been there recently. The hostess sat us quickly into a lovely booth. Our waitress was young but excited and so nice, Molly. We ordered cocktails which took almost 15 minutes. The bartender was slammed. My husband ordered the unlimited soup and unlimited CAESAR salad. We received our Entrees within minutes of our salads. The Manager came over and asked how everything was so far. My husband said he really didn’t like that all the food was dumped on us at one time. The Manager said he was sorry but really did nothing. My husband’s Lobster Bisque was delicious. His Caesar salad was very good. My mixed green salad was good. Our Entrees were fair. We have eaten there since it opened. The quality of the food has gone down, the manager didn’t care at all. I still had my drink from the appetizers so my husband tried to order a Port. They did not have any. So we will probably not return there too soon.
Delightful evening with friends!! Brittany our waitress awesome!!
Molly was a great server- we enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and entrees tremendously! We had the best service and experience! We will be back.
Enjoy had a good time waitress was very attentive, price a little higher since the last time but plenty of food
I realize they were recovering from Sunday brunch but when we were seated there were only a few tables. It took at least 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table. Seems like they had plenty of staff but they were all walking around like deer caught in headlights. It took 20 minutes for us to get our salads and our entrees were ok. I was there a couple of months ago and our entrees were excellent. Not sure what was going on from start to finish-will go back again but if it is the same experience it will be the last time.
It was father's day and any restaurant knows they should be on their A game for a holiday. These guys were not prepared. We had three small kids with us. Had a reservation at 1:30 and didn't get any food on the table other than bread until 3:20! I felt horrible for every waitress in the restaurant. They were scrambling and trying their hardest to make everything right but the kitchen was slammed because the people at the front just kept seating people instead of staggering. It was completely bad management. The girl working front of house looked like it was her first day. The manager came to our table almost in tears. The table next to us got up and walked out. My father in law's chicken fettuccine Alfredo had deli sliced chicken that was warmed and laid on top instead of the roasted chicken breast it was supposed to have. It was just a completely bad experience. They brought the kids food last and it was too hot for them to eat right away. We will definitely not be going back anytime soon.
We ate at Macaroni Grill for Father's Day. The service was very poor. We waited almost 2 hours for our food. The restaurant was busy, but there definitely was not enough help, or enough people that knew what they were doing. They apologized several times, and we tried to be understanding, but overall the whole experience just left us with a bad taste.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Food and service was impeccable. This was the best visit I’ve had here and I can tell you after meeting the new manager that took over its only going to go up. So glad to see this place finally taking shape.
Server did a great job. Main entree was good. Salad had some yuck looking pieces in it. Clean looking restaurant.
Staff was awesome good foof
Our server, Molly was amazing - attentive but not overly so, and friendly. She recommended the red sangria which was delicious.
Awful! Server NEVER brought bread, forgot the water, messed up appetizer order, then told us how bas the kitchen staff is and then she brings me the bill with the app still on there; after she made it a point to tell us we wouldn’t be charged 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Place was dead at 7:30 on a Friday night, employees just standing around... clearly management is non existent. Will never go back!
