Server not attentive, messed up orders, didn't refill drinks frequently, and very slow service
We had a terrible experience celebrating a birthday. Everything that could go wrong went wrong.
Had a lunch there, normal restaurant like others. I like Italian style food
There were a few minor issues but everything was handled Professionally. Still a good first time experience.
The food was really good and the servers were nice and the food came fairly quick.
When we first arrived hosts and waiters at the front were not making eye contact with customers and arguing among each other. Once we were seated our waitress was pleasant enough. But everything was slow. She forgot to bring us our appetizers. But the most egregious thing that occurred was that she asked who wanted cheese and proceeded to use her hands/ fingernails to sprinkle the cheese on our food. While she was doing so swearing her hands were clean.
GROSS!! She could have grabbed a spoon or allowed us to use our own utensils. I have no idea why she didn’t just have a grater.
It was a Mother’s Day. The best thing about it my online reservation!!!!!
I ordered Penne Rustica, this is one of my favorite dish. This time I did not even like specially the prosciutto, It taste awful. My family almost done eating and I can’t find it waitress so I can replace my order. Finally she came and I told her about it and I asked for kids meal spaghetti which is great. The manager came and as us. That’s great!
Actually this is not a first time this happened.
We were there last year October, I ordered Mamas Trio, but the chicken is so hard, but everything in my dish is great.
They replaced my order
I think its going to be awhile before we get back to this place.

Terrible experience. Mother’s Day crowd and not at least ready for the crowd. No server for about 25 mins. The food was cold. Had 3 different people give us food. They forgot one meal. No apologies. Terrible.
Had to wait for 15 minutes for a host to show up, even with a reservation. The waiter did not come until I asked the manager where he was. For 45 minutes all I received was my drink order, even when asking he would not take our food orders. And when I finally was able to ask for a check the waiter was rude and demanded an explanation on why we wanted to leave. Will never go again.
It was exceptionally busy, but it took a long time to clean up the long table next to us, dirty plates, food scraps, etc.. The lady at the table next to us spilled something on the floor and pointed it out to the workers a number of times without them cleaning it up. That was a messed up order for Uber delivery with a very upset customer when we first walked in. All in all look like they were a mess. It has definitely gone downhill from years ago we used to go to Macaroni Grill all the time.
Horrible. Just awful. We waited ten minutes before someone came back to the front to even take our names, even though we had an Open Table reservation. Then we sat for 10 minutes and no one said hello. Eventually, someone dropped off silverware but no one asked if we wanted to order drinks. I told the hostess we had been sitting for a while, and she said she would send someone over. We sat for another ten minutes and then got up to leave. A waiter stopped us and promised to take care of us. By now, my 5-year-old was wearing down. He took our drink order and brought drinks approximately 10 minutes later. We placed the appetizer order and the kids' meal. The wait was unbelievable. It took us over 2 hours to be seated and served dinner. The food is great here, but I can't wait that long for it.
Waiter was frustrated by kitchen backups. Totally understandable. Not putting all the blame on him as it relates to this dining experience. But he seemed annoyed with us the entire time. Food (that made it to the table) was good, but we did not feel like welcomed guests in the restaurant. Everyone at the table agreed we are unlikely to return.
I would recommend a Macaroni Grill to friends because the food is good, along with the value. However, I would not recommend Macaroni Grill - Franconia because of the POOR service I and my companion have been subject to.
For the third consecutive visit (over a span of 6 weeks), we were seated at a table, and then proceeded to wait at least 10 minutes for table service. For this visit and the last, I had to go to the staff to inquire if these are self-service tables because waiters and waitresses zipped by our table. The lack of communication between management and the wait staff is ridiculous.
It was for my husbands birthday dinner. Party of 10 Reservation with open table worked out perfect. Table was ready when we arrived and we were seated. After being seated for over 15 mins waitress came to the table and got our drink order. When drinks finally arrived the sprite was horrible it was missing the syrup. So we had to order different drinks and that took another 5 -10 minutes to receive. Still had no bread at this time and had to ask for it. The kids didn’t have any crayons given to them, they had to go up and get some themselves. So when she came back with drinks we decided to put our food order in because we didn’t know when the next time she would be coming back to our table. We all ordered and food took about 15-20 minutes which was ok. My daughter and I ordered the same meal penne rustica and when they arrived one was a normal size meal and the other was in a much smaller bowl almost half the size. At this time I was starving so I just decided to not take the time to complain and have to wait even longer to get it taken care of. Just overall service was not great and took way too long for everything. This was a very special occasion for us and we chose your restaurant and was not happy at all. We have eaten here often and I even used you in the past for work Xmas luncheons.
It was my husband and I's first experience at this restaurant and we were excited. Unfortunately that excitement was quickly quashed. We told the hostess that we had a reservation, when I saw she didn't ask for our name j mentioned that I wanted to make sure that she properly checked us in so that we can recieve the 100 open table points. They disregarded what I was saying. The waitress was friendly but slow and unaware. The manager (who was great) had to bring is our waters. It was 8:15pm it was not even busy but she was so slow, we stirred our coffee with a butter knife bcuz we didn't get spoons. Just bad experience and we did not recieve our 100 points.
I am a fan of Macaroni Grill but this time I was sorely disappointed.
Our server was horrible. We had to ask for things that are normally automatic. It took her forever to do something. She was not friendly.
The food was mediocre.
Terrible service! 40 minutes and no water, bread, or even an an introduction from a waiter or waitress...when we finally got a waiter he was nice but this place was horrible. We only stayed because we were meeting someone, otherwise we would have left like another family did that arrived after us.
The host did a fabulous job! Very attentive, asked if we needed drink refills when he saw empty glasses. He was really working hard to attend to anything that was needed.
I made a reservation with Open Table but upon arrival they were not ready for us and we had to wait 25 more minutes. Why make a reservation for a specific time if they don’t hold to that?
Otherwise the food and wait staff was ok, but nothing special.
I haven't eaten at restaurant in many years due to logistics and must say it was as delicious as I remembered. Will be returning and would recommend to anyone who loves good Italian food.
My go to Italian restaurant. Please don’t close this one!
The restaurant appeared to be significantly understaffed. Two of our eight entree's did not arrive until we complained twice and then walked over to the kitchen to locate the food. One of the 3 appetizers ordered did not arrive until mid way through the main course. The manager did take the two missing entrees off the bill, but that was hardly helpful...given that they didn't get to eat dinner. The waitstaff only refilled drinks one time, in spite of numerous requests (even water). We will not be returning.
This was a last minute we are hungry and in the neighborhood shopping lunch decision. The music in this place was like you were way way off Broadway and you can't escape the next bad show tune. It was actually so distracting it helped ruin the whole experience even more than badly executed food. Both the meat sauce and meat balls tasted like wild game meat and we couldn't eat it. Bread was stale and never did I get a refill on my 1 club soda. I'm not a chain restaurant person to begin with - but I would never come back here even in a pinch. Skip it!
We had a reservation on open table and the table was not set up for our group. It took about 45 minutes to get our food and the service was extremely slow. My food was cold when I received it.
Food was barely acceptable. Tables were not bussed around us. We were served the wrong dish.
The wait staff was very unattentive. The food was very bland and not worth the money. Our waiter completely forgot our apps and drinks numerous times after countless reminders.
No, no, and more no. The food is awful. Frozen? Prepackaged? The bar is a flop also. Another sold out franchise. Save your time and money.
It was nice at the end when the Mgr comp our tab. It was a very business night for them. Overall i was not happy but it was nice food and good. It took them a hour to serve us. I know it was a lot going on.

Although the food was pretty good, we had a reservation for 8pm...we weren't seated until 845.
They were not well organized to handle that Valentine's night dinner crowd.
The manager was NO HELP.
We made a reservation for Valentine's Day for 7:45 pm. When we arrived we did not get greeted by the host as a dozen people crowded the host podium. People who had reservations for earlier times still had not been seated. The host kept leaving the podium to avoid the customers and was not helpful getting people seated. We wasted 30 minutes of our evening and had to go elsewhere.
Awful service, even with reservations it took us and others over an hour to be seated. The staff was very unorganized.
Unfortunately food taste was not the best

I really enjoyed the food just wish for 14.50$ for pasta it would be a bit more pasta thats all. The food was tasty though and the waiter was very kind.
An excellent restaurant for a spur of the moment decision to eat out.
In short we had to wait for almost 20 minutes before a nice weatress helped us named Lina It was not her table and she came from another far section to assist us. We appreciated her noticing that we were there for a long time. She was the only right of my whole dinning experience. We didn’t even see the manager coming to check on us. We noticed later that our waiter was socializing with another couple for a long time next to us. My wife’s dinner didn’t have any flavor and my Lasagna was loaded with tomato sauce to serve two platters. Everything took a very long time I must add. We were looking forward to stay longer for dessert but desided not to stay any longer. We were so disappointed. For the record Lina provided great customer service and we enjoyed very much her company. However the food and the long waiting on everything took away the dining experience at your restaurant. Thank you.
Tabby was our waitress and she was awesome. She was extremely helpful and friendly. She was a pleasure to have serve us. The service and great food I received caused me to return the next day.
The food was amazing but the service was awful. Our waitress, Holly had an attitude from the beginning to end. She made simple requests such as, "Do you guys have plain tea with no flavor added?" seem like a burden and was given snappy responses and attitude. We were there for my husband's birthday in which my parents traveled from Maryland and in-laws from Richmond so it was supposed to be a great evening but didn't turn out that way. We weren't asked if we wanted to split the check, it was just brought out as one check and read told she could only split it in half and that's it which was untrue. When we asked to split it up, (which we marked the check in groups) and she gave me attitude and then got the checks wrong. When I pointed out the mistake, she gave me attitude again and rolled her eyes which was completely unnecessary. But at the end when it was time for the tip, she tried to give my mother-in-law a compliment which was completely phony. The manager was very nice after we spoke with him about our service but if you go to this restaurant, please do not allow Holly to serve you!
Sat at a Dirty table. Switched to another dirty table. Then switched to a 3rd dirty table. Walked out before ordering. Disgusting place. Will never return
The new Lombardi salad is absolutely delicious. My family loves coming her. When the kids were little they colored on the table. Now it’s a great place for teens to put their phones down and play hangman on the table.
We never ate there because despite the fact we had a 7p reservation there was no system in place to distinguish between those with reservations and walk-ins. There were guests waiting when we got there who had a 645p reservation; a group of 7 came in at 7:09p and cited they had a 7:15p reservation and they were seated within 5 minutes while another group of 7 had had a7p reservation and had been waiting 30 minutes and was still waiting. The manager didn’t seem to want to deal with the situation because he never came back to the hostess stand.
After 30 minutes my husband and I decided to leave and we went to another place. I gave the food a 1 because we never tasted the food.
