Please stop having the servers crayoning their names on the tables, it devalues the experience to that of Denny’ or Red Robin.
Reservation was for 8:15 so it wasn’t busy but the waitress kept coming back. Felt like she and one other waitress were the only ones taking care of tables. The other two just kept walking around dropping things. First drink order, then back for appetizer order, then back for dinner order... then a very long time for the food to actually arrive. Can’t imagine what it’s like during the regular dinner hours when it’s busy.
Great Italian restaurant that handles allergies professionally. Food is amazing, service above and beyond. Our son has serve allergies and they handled it with the utmost professionalism and care. Would highly recommend for anyone with kids and especially if they have allergies as they will make sure the food is handled so there is no cross contamination.
Upon arrival it took longer than it should have to get seated. Our waitress brought us water and then didn’t return for 20 minutes. Once we ordered the food did come out very quickly. We ordered shrimp Alfredo and chicken Parmesan. The shrimp Alfredo was very good, but the portion was small for the price. The chicken parm was burnt on the outside.
There was no AC they had portable ACs sitting in the doorway to the bathroom with piping to areas in the restaurant. It was not even busy and the waitress had to be asked multiple times for things. She kept apologizing but it was hot in there and we kept waiting on drinks. The food portions were so small and salty compared to other chain restaurants. No manager was seen and apparently they had no bartender on at the time.
We love Macaroni Grill. The coupons keep us coming back. Our last coupon was for 25% off! The Pollo Caprese keeps getting skimpier and skimpier. The chicken is very smaller and thin. I've always gotten it and it used to be 2 pieces if thick chicken. Now it's one piece the size of a palm and so things dried out. Please improve on this.
The AC was broken, they did not notify us when we arrived, only when we asked why it was so warm. to make matters worse, they sat us right next to the open kitchen in a half empty restaurant, instead of keeping people away the hot kitchen. they also did not open any doors to try and let some air in. the food was Ok, but took forever, we were there for an hour and 40 minutes for 2 pasta dishes and a kids pizza, ruining our evening plans. When we were walking out, a company arrived with a portable A/C. very disappointed in the overall experience.
The waitress was good but the food was disappointing. On Fathers Day weekend, it was not crowded at all but the food explains why. The brick oven was broken so no pizza. Frustrating
Service is lagging , waited so long for things. . 20 min after placing our order we learned that one item run out and they asked what to replace it with. We will. Pt GPS back for a while.
My water glass was sticky. My husband’s silverware was dirty and replaced with dirty silverware. The salt shaker was so sticky that I was afraid to use it. My salad was supposed to have kale, celery and chives in it(watermelon salad) which were omitted and replaced with olives. Disgusting! I will never go to another Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
Poor bar and kitchen service. Waitress was ok. I won’t be recommending this to anyone.
Waited awhile at our table and finally had to go back to the host to ask when we would get our server. Waiter was nice enough, but definitely needed more training. Seemed very new and nervous, but he did check on us multiple times to check on beverages, etc. Food was pretty mediocre. The truffle mac and cheese was bland. Someone in our party got the salmon - it was very dry and the rice that came with it was very spicy. Overall, not a great value. Would have expected this quality of food from a Friendly's.
I made a reservation as it was Mother's day and figured it would be busy. When we arrived we were told a 20 minute wait. I made a reservation so we shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for a table to open up. My mother walked back over to the hostess stand and said something to the hostesses standing there, we were seated in about five minutes. Our drinks were very slow to come to the table after ordering, pizza oven was not working but nothing was said till I tried to order a pizza, then what I ordered was entered wrong so no chicken was put in my pasta. I didn't send it back because I didn't want to wait for another to be prepared while the rest of my family ate. In the end we paid $120 plus tip for a not so great experience.
Brunch was really good
Mothers day flowed nicely
Price was reasonable
Server was very slow and disorganized. It seems like she forgot about us so it took very long to order, for her to bring the order to the table and to return to see if we needed anything.
Service was slow, food came out cold had to be sent back.
Great meal with family. Shrimp, steak, lamb shank all delicious. Lamb shank is a rare find on any menu, so good.
This is the second time having dinner with family at this location. Our server was friendly and attentive. Positive feedback from family members visiting from the southwest.
We used to love Macaroni Grill, but this once in a long time visit told us why so many have shut down. With so many great, authentic, Italian restaurants around our area, to pay over $80 for two adults and two children on entrees with no appetizer or dessert, and just two drinks ... for chain restaurant quality food just doesn't make sense. The drinks did not contain the amount of alcohol to justify the price, the restaurant itself was baron, even for a Wednesday evening, the food was average, and the service was adequate. All of the above would be better accepted if the bill for the experience didn't surpass those local Italian eateries where the food is homemade and the service personal. I say the above disappointedly, as we used to enjoy going to these restaurants in the past, but now don't have the occasion to do so as often since all the one's around us have closed down.
Ferg is an excellent server. Service was fast. Will be returning again.
Excellent food, excellent friendly service. Decent prices.
Great atmosphere.. out waitress was very pleasant, helpful and had great suggestions.
First time there & we loved it! Our waitress Jenna was awesome. Will be back again
the food was very good and the service was also very good considering that they were very busy
Used to love to go here. It's been a few years and now, probably won't be back again. It felt chaotic - they were clearly too busy for the obviously short staff - or inexperienced staff. We waited a long time for what was a pretty simple order. Had to ask twice for more water, parm cheese, another bar drink. Our expectations weren't high - but a simple Friday night quick meal turned into 90 minutes of a lot of sitting around.
Lindsay was a great server! Loved the Penne Rustica as always!
Macaroni Griol was great for our family night out! Food was on point and the service, klucianne, was excellent! Food was hot ad just as ordered. Sometimes every is just the way it should be!!
My family and i were very pleased. Our food was great and our server, Ferd, was very sociable and all around good guy. We will definitely be back.
Always a great meal at Romano's Macaroni Grill! Our waiter, Ferg, was great!
The service was very slow and we waited 1 hour for our dinner. Our table was too close to the next one and the servers kept bumping into ours.
Waitress was nice but not a great server. Never even asked if we wanted dessert. I told her in passing to come back when she got a chance we may want coffee or something she came back with cold coffee. I said I didn’t want that I wanted cappuccino. She said it’s broken. My mother ordered an Irish coffee which another person brought out cold. Our server came back and said...”happy now.” No we were not happy now. I understand it’s Saturday, but it wasn’t even that busy. We paid the bill, tipped 20% and left. Food was ok, not as good as I have had there before.
Great service! Amanda was awesome.
Celebrating my daughters 23rd bday!
The food was good. The server was not friendly but provided good service.
I made a reservation on Open Table for my birthday dinner. I made it for 4 adults and a baby and in special instructions put that we also have a baby coming and will need a high chair. When we arrived they put us in a high top booth. When I asked for the high chair they said you can’t use a high chair at the booths. -_- So we opted for a booster seat, but we were very cramped. Our waitress Chris was outstanding, imformative, and very attentive! Food was timely and delicious. For a chain, Romano’s is always good!
When our first choice restaurant had a mix up, & everything else in the area had a 45+ minute wait (and there was no wait here), we should have taken that as our first hint... server slow, portions disproportionately small for the price, and entrees not served quite as described. Ate here once previously, several years ago, & should have known there was a reason we had never gone back. Won’t make that mistake again.
I am a manager for a local non-profit organization. It was nice to take my team for a delightful meal at a great price. We are all from different backgrounds and were each able to find something we could relate to on the menu. Everyone enjoyed the meal, dessert and the service. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and patient. We will be back.
We frequently come to Romano's. For us, it's a perfect destination. The bread is just amazing. The service is nice. We feel welcome there. The food is amazing. They made fettuccini alfredo with meatballs for my sone as part of his kids meal instead of spaghetti and meatballs they had on the menu. The paper tablecloth for all the family to draw. The way the servers write their names on it upside down. All of it is just perfect! And did I mention that we drive 40 miles to it?
Totally understaffed in the wait staff and the kitchen staff. Server running and throwing food on the table. No bus boys.Long waits between courses and Hostess acting as server. Small portions, non heated plates so food lukewarm. Felt sorry for server and told him he was wasting his talent and to find another job. Zero competition for Olive Garden and Carrabbas . OK in fly over states? Not in NYC-Philly axis!
