Kids running around, guess can’t blame restaurant. Was encouraged to buy the two apps for$13, which I did. Cheese came out immediately second one came out after receiving our entrees. Also, watched two individuals stand at counter in front of kitchen for approximately 40 minutes talking the whole time. Later found out they were the managers. They did not help there staff our come around to ask how our food was. Hope Macaroni Grill can find better management.

We had made a reservation for 10 the day before but when we arrived our table wasn't set up. My food was lukewarm ad the chicken was dry but I didn't want to send it back because everyone else would have been finished eating before I got my food. The chair I was sitting in was dirty and the floor was sticky.

It took a long time for a server to come to us. Then overall the bar and kitchen were very slow. My cocktail didn’t come out until after we had received our appetizers and salads. No offer of bread was made, we had to ask and then it never came. The server constantly apologized but did nothing about it nor did she let her manager know. She kept disappearing off the floor. It wasn’t very busy so that wasn’t an excuse. Overall very disappointing visit.

This location was short staffed on the Saturday we went. Whlile our server did the best he could during a fairly busy evening, we frequently had to remind him of missing items. The food was just ok - my balsamic chicken was dry and tasted old, and my wifes pasta dish looked and tasted microwaved. Wine selection was very good. This location could be better given the right staffing levels and more focus on the food quality going out.

Food was significantly delayed. Once entrees were delivered, only approximately 3/4 of the table received them. The remainder had to wait another 15 minutes.

Danny our Server was great! He did a very good job taking care of us. Noise level was perfect. Ambience is great! their seafood was very good! We got salmon and a shrimp pasta. They were excellent!

The checkin person was beyond rude. We had a reservation and I understood that is was Mother’s Day and there might be a little wait. I asked for an eta on when we could potentially be seated and she told me it wasn’t our reservation time and that she didn’t know. When I asked for a potential wait time she said no she is busy and to wait till I was called. Our server was amazing. She was swamped with table and made every effort to keep us informed on our food. And refills. She was the highlight of the night.

Went here for dinner on Mother's Day. Granted it was Mother's Day so it was busy. We had a reservation at 6:00 did not get seated until 6:25. Order was not taken until 6:55. Food was not brought to the table until 8:00 and when it came the food was cold. I saw multiple parties walking out because they were tired of waiting. We did ask for a discount and we were given 25% off. I felt bad for the waiter because it was not his fault at all. Clearly the problems were coming from the kitchen. I know that everywhere is short-staffed currently but this was my worst experience ever and I am a very patient person.

We loved the Macaroni Grill in Folsom, but it closed. Thought we would try the Elk Grove location. Even with our reservation we waited 25-30 min for our table. Tables would sit empty for 20-30 min without being bused. Maybe they were short staffed. It was Mothers Day. The food was not the same quality as Folsom had been as well. Sadly overall, it was not a good experience & we will not be going back.

The food was amazing. The service was TERRIBLE. Server brought us bread, but no knife to cut it- I even asked for a knife and he didn’t come back. Finally came back to take our order and then brought back a knife with the second loaf of bread. Dropped our food off and never came back to check. Needed a refill on my drink but that didn’t happen.

Even after making reservations, the restaurant was not ready to handle the swell of business on Mother's Day. Yes, it was a holiday, but ensuring adequate coverage could've helped ensure that I ate my meal (mine arrived super late) with the rest of my party.

Before my party made reservations through OpenTable, we went to Romano's Macaroni Grill - Elk Grove since Apple Maps says they open at 11am on Mother's Day. We got there and waited until they opened, not sure if it's because of Mother's Day but when they opened, the Maitre'd said she was taking reservations only and all others waiting like us had to come back at 1130 and LOCKED the door. I proceeded to make reservations on OpenDoor and got reservations for 11:15. I knocked on the door and told the Maître I had reservations and she proceeded to let my party in. It was 90+ degrees outside and there were Senior Citizens who were waiting outside and she wouldn't let them in. I've read other reviews on Yelp! after and all other reviewers gave them a "thumbs" down. I wouldn't recommend this particular location.

The restaurant was very cold, and we asked for our waitress, Racquel, to turn down the temperature which she did promptly. She was on top of things and went out of her way to make sure our evening was pleasurable. We were celebrating my husband’s 23rd anniversary in law enforcement. We had a great time, and Racquel was fabulous!

We had a birthday lunch. There was so coffee, no hot tea. The bread, which is usually wonderful, was cold and stale (could not even cut it with a knife). The salads were good, if pricey. Our waitress was great. We won’t go back, though.

The experience, service and staff were great, the only downfall is that they ran out of Spagetti before they closed (9pm). I chose 7pm, to try and ensure it wasn’t too late, they ran out at 755pm.

Seating was fast with our reservations. We went for the customer appreciation day (free spaghetti and meatballs). So the bill was nice. It was a nice $43 bill for a family of 5. That was for our appetizers and drinks. The waiter we had was good and fast.

Yes, it was busy because of Valentines day. We ordered the Lasagna bites for our appetizer. And I ordered the Jumbo shrimp pasta and added Salmon on top for the entree. About an hour later i received my meal. It had the most burnt piece of salmon on top of it that I had ever seen. I did not realize this place served barbecue. I literally choked several times because of the texture. It actually damaged my throat. Did not finish. After I received the check, the server came by and told me they just started making the lasagna bites?

I pick the time for us to show up on OpenTable. Upon arrival there was two other parties in front of us, but did not have reservations and they ended up being seated first. As we sat down, we noticed that the place was really dirty like it really needed a deep cleaning. The seat was torn. The waiter was nowhere to be seen by the time we got her food just seem like it's sad for a while before it was served to us. Everything was cold, sent back our appetizer, which tasted very badly just a disappointment.

They allowed me to make a reservation for 8:30 not telling customers they they close at 9:00 I felt rushed , that was the only problem I had with the night a friend recommended this restaurant and we drove two hours to eat here so I was disappointed at that , other than that our server was excellent and very helpful due to the circumstances

The food was good - Chicken Cacciatore was excellent. Service was slow. It was NYE so maybe they were short staffed. The manager jumped in to get Salads out and I was impressed to see this. I would recommend that you try it. It took about 1.5 hours to get our food but maybe it was just a busy day.

First of all they were out of their bread that they are known for. ALL of our food we received was cold barely room temp. The service was extremely slow. The server definitely was giving off this is the last place I want to be vibes. It’s too bad we were looking forward to a nice meal but it didn’t turn out that way. Never again will I go back I hardly eat out because I eat my own cooked food and healthy so it was a disappointment to come here.
