   Macaroni grill used to be one of my favorite restaurants. This place is really gone downhill and they do not have many of the items previously. My pasta was loaded with tons of garlic. I will not be going back.

    Ich muss sagen, dass ich vom Service leider extrem enttäuscht war. Ich hatte auf 19 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert und war pünktlich um 18:50 vor Ort. Dort wurde mir von der Dame am Empfang sehr unhöflich gesagt, dass das Restaurant voll sei. Als ich ihr meine Reservierung zeigte meinte sie nochmal das ist egal ich sehe doch dass das Restaurant voll ist. Es waren noch ca. 6 Tische frei…… Ich wollte mich auf keine Diskussion einlassen und fragte sie, wann ich denn dann kommen soll. Mir wurde gesagt um 21 Uhr. Da ich beim letzten Mal das Essen sehr gut fande, dachte ich mir ich warte und komme um 20:45 Uhr einfach nochmal. Als ich ein zweites Mal ankam wurde mir doch sehr forsch gesagt man würde den Service in 5 Minuten beenden und ich habe mich zu beeilen. Das ist sehr schade, man sollte gerade die Empfangsmitarbeiter besser Schulen auf Freundlichkeit und wie man sich bei Terminen zu verhalten hat. Die zwei Sterne gibt es für das Essen, welches dann doch in Ordnung war aber sehr lieblos und schnell zubereitet und für die schlussendlich nette Bedienung. Schade so verliert ein tolles Restaurant an Qualität….

    I went to Romano's Macaroni Grill because I had a coupon for Chicken Scallopine, buy one, get one free. I had never heard of this dish. I asked the waitress if it had a sauce on it. She said it had a buttery sauce. She did not mention that it had a very strong lemon flavor to the sauce. If I had known that, I might have ordered something else, since I really don't like sour tasting sauces.

    We were really excited take our children to this location as we have memories of going there as kids. Despite the fact that there were only six tables being served during this weekday lunch hour, service was extremely slow. We didn’t even get our drinks until we had been there for an hour. It was clear they were short staffed, but the wait staff had absolutely no motivation to move any quicker than they were. They were extremely slow and honestly aloof about the entire thing. Our food came out cold because it sat on the counter for 20 minutes while our server just walked by it. We were extremely disappointed by the experience and felt the food was very overpriced for being underwhelming and cold.

    Reservation at 8:00 PM, was early then told would have to wait up to 30 mins! What is the point of a reservation then?? No server at all for 30 mins Seems hostess ended to being our server.. Food was ok Wife was upset over having to ask multiple times for her glass of wine Will NOT be going back!

    Arrived on time for reservation to find out they were 15 reservations behind. 😐. Waited 45 minutes past our reservation time & decided to leave to do a fast food drive-thru Valentines Day. 😐 as we got up to leave, our name was called to be seated. Everything was good after that but waiting 45 minutes past reservation time was disappointing.

    Good Food and Great Service but reservations don't mean anything to this company. We rushed to get there perfectly on time and ended up getting seated almost an hour after our reservation. If you have a reservation I would NOT recommend this place but if you have time to blow and like to sit and wait for an hour with your 6 month old child, it's the place for you. Our server was excellent and the food was good though. We have eaten here quite a few times and that it probably the reason why we waited but we will never eat here on a day like Valentines day where we get a reservation for again.

    This place has gone down hill. When we entered the building we were hit with an unpleasant smell. The tables and booths are all very worn and cracking. Service was slow, we didn’t get bread until half way through the meal and it took 20 mins to get our check. Even tho the food was great, given the atmosphere and service, we will not be back.

    The restaurant needs a restoration and definitely more staff. There were only two waiters on a Sunday afternoon. The quality of the food has dropped significantly. Our waiter was very friendly and did what he could to please the customers, but he was in charge of many tables and at the same time he was also served as a host in the restaurant. With how expensive they charge, they should pay their employees better and give them better incentives to attract more employees and be able to provide better service. The quality of the food has dropped considerably, the lasagna tasted like it was reheated from the day before. The bathrooms smelled very bad. I've been to Macaroni and Grill in other states including Puerto Rico and this has been the worst. I am a fan of Macaroni and Grill, I love their food and the atmosphere, but this location in Phoenix Arizona definitely does not meet the expectations of what Macaroni and Grill is.

    It was Friday night and the place was not busy/full. We waited quite a while for everything; very, very slow service. The food was lukewarm when it arrived. Would not recommend. Paid a high price for poor quality food and slow service. Will not go back.

    This is the only grill we will go to moving forward. Maria was an Amazing Server!!! My family went to celebrate the religious milestone of the Wise Mens journey.
