Romano's Macaroni Grill - Cerritos
Book your next event with us
Pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been in Macaroni Grill for a very long time and I was expecting a bland experience like an Olive Garden. But it was substantially better than that. Pork chop and tortellacci. Yum.
The service was exceptional and the food was very delicious at an affordable price
Our server, Bella, was excellent! Great food and great service! Highly recommended!
We recently celebrated the 7th birthday of our oldest daughter. The experience, food, and service was great!
The host was great from greeting to seating. Great selection of meals are available.
Over all we enjoyed dinner and care we received. We will be back to try wonderful selections of food.
Thank you Sam, you are a great server, Kate & Stephanie making sure everything was handled to get us all out on time for the Cerritos Performing Arts Center! See you for the next show there. I loved the lamb shank, I'm ordering it next time too, incredible!!!
Great service. Also good quality and fresh food. We love it
Everything was yummy as usual😋😋😋
The restaurant was empty, but we were ignored....we constantly had to flag a member of the staff for service.
Good dining this evening
My wife and I have been here many times. And this time was not up to the standard we expected. Our first bread was warm and stale. The fried mozzarella was over cooked, no cheese inside just breading. My wife's corn soup was cold. We were too tired to make a fuss.
Always great services and good food! It gets a bit noisy at times, but this place is great for a family dinner. They could do better with maintaining the bathrooms cleaner as it sometimes gets dirty. The customer service has always been great for the last twenty years. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!
Zak was our waiter 😍 very attentive 👍🏻 we all had something different & enjoyed everything
The Brussels are one of my favorites 😋😋 & I order that b4 the delicious bread come out❣️❣️❣️
Good service but the food was terrible: my dad was not served his food until all of us were basically finished, he was served some random sandwich not even made how he had asked and was served fries instead of breakfast potatoes. You can tell they weren’t ready for breakfast.
I get it was mother's day so it's busier, however, we were given a tight table space with a seat directly in the walking area for servers. Wish they didn't seat us so tightly or used areas where it might be dangerous to impede emergency traffic.
The food was excellent and so was the service. We love the Penne Rustica and the Chicken Scallopine.
Service: hostess & bartender very nice! One star off due to the fact the bartender seemed quite busy so maybe having another body would’ve helped the service move along faster. Couldn’t get his attention quickly BUT he was very nice and genuinely happy to be at work which is GREAT to see. Give him some help so he can focus more on his patrons!
Food: Good but not amazing- won’t blow you away but it is a good meal. Definitely ask for their bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Pasta was slightly undercooked but still not bad. Chicken Parmesan is a great fall back option if you can’t choose a dish.
Value: Had a coupon so it was definitely worth it but a little on the pricier side without it. Definitely would like to visit for happy hour!
Overall: a good option to dine- hostess was very kind in accommodating and bartender was happy!
Very good food & service
Dinner with friends on a Saturday evening before a CCPA concert. Had a 6:00 p.m. reservation, finally seated about 6:20. Not enough staff and our waitress Cassandra seemed rushed and a bit distracted. They have an interesting "honor system" house wine for $3.50 a glass. Food came promptly but one order was botched, should have been a cold chicken Parmesan salad and came out a warm Parmesan fish dish. Chicken marsala was OK but some pasta was undercooked. Wife's salmon was very good, she said.
Hightlight of the meal was the cannoli. Two crisp tubes filled with cinnamon mascarpone and chocolate tidbits. Out by 7:30 with plenty of time to make the opening curtain.
Worse service ever! We arrived and sat for 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Server came and took food and drink order and disappeared. Next thing we know, our entrees arrive but we never got our drinks nor our appetizer salads. They took our food back and brought drinks and salads. Then they brought us our cold entrees. The good for nothing manager did nothing...no apology...nothing. The whole experience sucked. We won’t be back.
Had to wait another 15 minutes with reservation at 6:30 pm. As I walked up I was told immediately two parties ahead of me and will have to wait even though I saw plenty of available tables. No drink menu was offered, had to ask for it. Took 30 minutes for food to arrive after it was ordered, meantime no offer to refill water or bread. On the menu if you purchase entrée can add soup or salad for $2.25, your soup and salad was unlimited. My friend ordered lobster bisque too salty and my salad was small just few lettuce and little dressing, I did not like the dressing they put on without asking me was horrible. Again no mention or asked if wanted more since it was unlimited. My friend's entrée was too dry, she had to get up and look for our waitress to switch to another entrée. No one checked up on us when the food was first brought to the table. We skipped appetizer, had the entrée with dessert, it took 3 hours. After 7:30 pm you could see lot of empty tables in the restaurant, there was no reason for such a long delay.
already wrote to the Manager, regarding my experience.
Great dinner before concert. Convenient location, good food, pleasant atmosphere. WHY did other Macaroni Grill locations close? I love the food & esp. THE BREAD!
Our server was amazing. Very friendly helpful with the menu. Food came out fast n hot! Everything tasted amazing and we loved the service we went back 2 days later. Definitely will be coming more often
I had to sit under the dan it my food got cold really fast. Other than that it was good.
Our waiter took took a while to check up on us, if she’d been a little more attentive to her guest this experience would’ve been a perfect one
Due to 2 large groups (25 plus people each) who’s orders were put in before ours the wait for our dinner was rather long. The server kept apologizing for the delay. Perhaps the restaurant should not have 2 large groups on a Saturday night. We got there for dinner at 6 before an 8pm concert steps away and we were almost late. Food just “fine”.
The place was empty but the food took a long time even when we asked for a rush order.
Always look forward to eating here. We attend programs at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center and always choose Romano's. Good meals, fair prices---no complaints
I made a reservation the day before and found many open table options.
We arrived 15 minutes early and were seated quickly. We were going to see a show following, and were concerned we would not be seated served and have enough time to eat to make the play. We were served very fast and actually had a long wait for the show. The service was very attentive and the meal fabulous as always. We like to visit this restaurant a few times a year.
Food and service were very good. It wasn't very busy so difficult to rate sound level.
Love their Chicken Scallopini and the chocolate layer cake dessert!!
Love this place, and Kate the Manager is a doll, and always comes by to be sure we are happy with everything we ordered. I'll be back!!!
Kassandra was such a delightful hostess. She was very patient and pleasant! I will request her to service my family and I when we visit again. Great job😀
Vivian was a great server and has a great voice, singing Happy Birthday to me in Italian.
Had a reservation at 7:30 pm. When the time came they has sat someone else by my name. Sat somewhere in the back with no attempt to make sure we were being served right. The server tried his best but just not satisfied with the way we were taken and given my reservation to someone else. Hostess had a terrible attitude. I love coming to this place, I’m a regular but this one time they ruined it for me.
It was a great Valentines dinner night for me , my wife and our duaghters. Food was perfect, waotress was great and everyrhing went just right.
Did a nice presentation for Valentine’s Day, my girlfriend found it really cute. Food, service, and noise level was great, especially for a first time going there. Will be going back again.
Pricey for a chain restaurant and food tastes slightly above average. We twice had to wait too long for a table and left. The third time we got a reservation. Do not eat here without a reservation. Wine is overpriced for the quality.
My meal was horrible, the chicken was not cooked, while we were there I saw 3 other people return their meals
