My wife and I had the Omakase for our anniversary. The meal was good with exceptional presentation. Everything was delicious and was plenty of food. With that said, we would’ve appreciated a little more sushi like nigiri as part of the Omakase. The wagyu need to finish off the meal was not the best in my opinion. The meat had too much of the bark/smoke flavor. Quality Wagyu should be able stand on basic flavor alone. Overall it was a good meal, but for $128/person, we may consider other options on the menu. The sashimi, oyster, and crab legs were fresh and top notch. We loved the ambiance and service as well.
Excellent quality food from miso soup through sashimi then sushi and the entrees - black cod and crab. Desserts excellent too.
Service was very good and ambience was too, given the current situation.
Minor, minor comment would be that the brocollini had too strong a wood smoke flavor which didn’t let the other ingredients come through, but I’m really picking at minor details.
Great place for a date night. We ordered a few of the different sushi items and everything we got was perfection. Fresh, melt-in-your-mouth flavor. Service was outstanding as well.
I took my mom back to this restaurant after 3 years and we were very disappointed. The service was mediocre and the food doesn't worth the price tag. They served us a bowl of completely burned Brussel Sprouts, unacceptable with the price they are charging us!!!! We won't be returning, it has completely lose its good taste in food and service!!
Excellent place for sushi and fish! Wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. It was worth it!
The 4 items that we ordered were excellent as was the service. The Tempura, the mushroom hotpot, the ribs and the salmon were all excellent and beautifully prepared and presented. Roka Akor is one of our two all time favorite restaurants.
Fantastic as usual. Our server, Heather, was on top of it. We will keep coming back!
Absolutely enjoyed a nice pleasant and professional dining experience! My first time here so I wanted to experience all Roka Akor had to offer annddd my host suggested their 6-7 diner course selection. A little on the pricey side if you choose this route, but I will say it was well worth it.
Best dining experience I have ever had. Our server was amazing and the food was out of this world.
Food and cocktail were great! Service l, attentive and professional.
Excellent restaurant! The food and service was fantastic. Can not wait to go back.
Had a great birthday experience with my husband with the amazing food and great dessert
Great evening, food was wonderful and service was on point .
Usually fantastic but this time food quality wasn't on par
Reminds me of Nobu and had a wonderful time celebrating my sons birthday. Thank you!
Excellent experience for both food and service. Energetic ambiance at the bar. We hadn't been in a long time, and we're so glad we did. Definitely will be returning more frequently now.
Excellent quality of a fusion Japanese Omakaze dinner. The service was very good, and the quantity was more than we expected. I will definitely return for future dinner dates.
Hanna our wait staff is excellent. Food always good. Ambiance sparse for Covid 19 restrictions.
Wonderful food and service!
Excellent food with fantastic service. Definitely would return.
Outstanding restaurant. Limited menu due to virus situation, but still plenty to choose from. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. It was nice & quiet inside. Very peaceful. Can't wait to go back when they have the full menu available.
Definitely a special place to go out to eat. Yes the prices can seem scary on the menu but trust me it’s worth it. Our server (Marcus) was able to perfectly describe everything on the menu and was so friendly without seeming forced to be or fake in the slightest. This is not only a place to eat but a place to have an experience as well. All of the flavors and presentation is beautiful and that is simply an understatement.
It was a sad experience. Went in for dinner specifically for sushi. Got seated by the manager who failed to let us know, there is no rice. When the waitress came to take our drink order, she informed us about there being no rice, a couple next to us were also told no rice. We all left! A sushi and steak restaurant with no rice! Lots of workers and no customers. Sad!
Second reservation of the day, and they were out of rice. As in like, they couldn't make sushi at a sushi restaurant. Was looking forward to this place the whole trip. Make a reservation if you wanna get PLAYED.
Small and Unorganized portions. Given the amount of money that was spent on the food I would not go back there again
I was disappointed that infused shochu wasn’t available. Food was great and service was ok.
Food is always outstanding and incredible service...
Excellent experience, highly recommended, thank you!!
Great staff and service, selections are amazing and the food is beyond compare! If you love sushi then you will put Roka on your weekly restaurant list!
This was our first time dining here and it was great. The ribeye was the star of the show.
Food was great, decor was attractive, soothing open and airy environment with lots of light. Excellent service with just the right amount of attention.
Amazing! Great food, great ambiance have a great time.
The food and sake was amazing. Some of the food is overpriced, in my opinion, but the quality and flavor was there. The service was mediocre.
Excellent as always!!!
My favorite restaurant in the valley. The service could have been improved but the food is impeccable.
Unreal service. So so great! The butterfish and pork belly appetizers were unreal! Everything else was great but not special. Little pricey. $170 for two people with no alcohol. Little noisy but it was a Saturday night. Super cute spot.
