Rojo Mexican Grill - St. Louis Park
The stylish restaurant seats more than 280 guests and was designed to evoke traditional Mexican décor, but with a modern influence. Warm woods and soft red upholstery are offset by accents of leather, stone and steel. The dining room offers traditional table service and a generous view of the kitchen where diners can watch food prepared throughout the process. Three centrally located tables are dedicated to preparing hand-rolled tortillas, fresh guacamole and salsa in full view each day.

We've been searching for a great Mexican restaurant and found it at Rojo. Excellent service, and great food and atmosphere.
We'll be back!
Our server had 10 tables which meant we received poor service. Really disappointing that people were crammed outside when there were many open tables inside.
Great service, drinks and food. One of our favorites in west end.
Good to be back to Rojo. First restaurant outing in months. Missed this place.
It was the first time out for my guest, and we shared the blackened catfish tacos and the house special with mole. Both were so excellent. We had a great time and will be back there soon.
Wonderful experience. We were here to celebrate a birthday. They were very attentive and fried ice cream for dessert!
Love Rojo. I go there once a week. The skinny margarita is too die for! I also love the veggie tacos and rojo guacamole.
I love Rojo! Everything about this place is great. The service is wonderful! I am a regular here and have a great experience every time.
The margaritas are great and they kept the chips and salsa coming! We always enjoy eating here, and felt the density was appropriate for the time.
Outstanding Service! Drinks and food were an outstanding value!
Food is okay- servers had limited knowledge of food. Menu is very limited in options and taco prices are outrageously expensive.
Our waiter Pablo was terrific! Attentive, patient, helpful & friendly.
He refreshed our chips/salsa, kept the waters filled & very kindly split our bill 4 ways.
We had a great time catching up with friends in a fun atmosphere. We will be back - hopefully we can sit on the patio next time!!
The food was beyond incredible as always! And the margaritas were just as delicious. It was a perfect birthday dinner celebration!
Bummed. Took nearly 45 mins to get a side order of guacamole. Over two hours and our meals never came... restaurant wasn’t busy. Waiter was apologetic- said he “didn’t know what happened to our order” and they he couldnt figure out where our food went. We drove over an hour for an 8p reservation. Left at 10pm without ever eating/getting our dinner.
We had a birthday celebration for six people and it was great other than we were seated right next to the kitchen so it was rather loud and busy all around us
Checked into our reservation perfectly with no issues. The Host and Waitress was prompt and quick to seat & serve my group. Service and food was great but did wish the Waitress told us about the menu situation and how we had to scan the code in able to access the menu. Otherwise we would have probably sat for another 20 min waiting for a menu. She just kept coming back saying "Are you guys ready?" Before we realized the menu code situation.
Met some friends for happy hour and was very pleased. The happy hour food menu was well priced and delicious. The margs hit the spot. We'll be back, it was so fun to be out and about again!
Great food. Friendly staff. Love the sweet rice and beans and carnitas tacos!
Food was good, a bit overpriced but on par for the area. Corn had too much lime and the fried ice cream was bad. It tasted really good, but cereal was stale and I wonder if it was even fried, it was not warm). We loved that appetizers most! Guacamole was so good and the cheese on top, loved the ceviche. Definitely recommend Casamigo tequila, best thing of the night; very smooth nice vanilla tones.
Very Covid comfortable with spacing. Will return
Haven't been here I awhile, food was excellent, the chips were thin and crispy and the spicy margarita beast excellent
Couldn’t eat my food. Not good.
Made resv on open table & they don’t give pts
Never again :(
The interior of this place is nicely done. Our servers were pleasant but could not explain certain cheese items on the menu. We had perhaps the worst margarita outside of Mexico and would not order another one there. I think we'll stick to Teresa's on Duluth street.
The southwest ceasar salad was to die for! Clean and staff were awesome! Felt so good to be back in a restaurant!!
Great to get back to Rojo! Food was great, we weren't rushed, and the server was very attentive.
Best carne asada quesadillas and gourmet nachos! Love this place so much!!
The food at Rojo is fantastic - as well as the tequila selection! Service varies from OK to outstanding, and the last time we were there the service was incredible!
Was seated immediately. Food was great. Tasted great and good portion sizes. The restaurant was clean and not too crowded. Felt safe in these covid times.
Cups were dirty
Food was alright, but nothing to come back for and service was slow
Drinks were good
Amazing food, fast service. First dine in experience in awhile and it was sooooo worth the wait!
Food and service fantastic. The couple fighting at the bar (that weren't asked to leave) ruined the valentine's experience.
Our Saturday tradition has returned.
Food was amazing, drinks good and services was great. Highly recommend.
Love Rojo's casual vibe and the margaritas. Always comfortable.
We were looking for “good” Mexican (not just casual tacos) Rojo was the perfect solution! The Skinny 97 margaritas and homemade guacamole made the meal.
We went in at 4:30pm on a Saturday, it was slower in the back area which was great for the start of our night. The margaritas were amazing as were the tacos!! It was busier when we left, very fun atmosphere and amazing food
Staff were very rude to our group because our friend was unable to wear a mask. I also received the wrong food order, but our waiter was very prompt on getting it corrected. Otherwise the food and drinks tasted amazing.
Husband and I were looking to de-stress from a long week at work and chose rojo as our date night location. Had great service! Greeted when we walked in and when we sat down. Our waiter wasn’t pushy and was very attentive. He offered great suggestions for dinner and drinks. Would definitely go again for any date night/dinner:)
Good food good waiter I always order the chicken tacos and do it without shells and that’s great but they’ve change something in the rice it’s not as white as it used to be and is not as creamy as it used to be please change back to your old recipe
