The hostess was simply dumb. She was unable to understand English well, nor that we had a reservation. All she could say was that we would have a table at our reservation time. And she was also telling walk ins that you were not taking anymore tables that night. At 730pm. When we left the place was dead, turned away a bunch of business. Seems like for a Friday night the place should have been better prepared. Slow service as the guy was overwhelmed by a dozen tables or more. This place needs to clean up it’s act to avoid being the next Rojo closure. Such a great menu and kitchen, front of house is not so great.

Chips and salsa were excellent. I liked that we each had our own individual bowl of salsa so we didn't have to share. The tortilla soup was good but I would have liked it warmer. Shrimp tacos were excellent. My friend had fajitas and it was the perfect portion size.

Have dined here many times over the years and have always enjoyed the experience in the past. Cocktails were not great and the 1st few appetizers were not good. We shared 2 entrees that were better. Service was great! But overall won’t be back anytime soon. All restaurants can have an off night. But overall disappointing.

Nice atmosphere, great Margarita's. Dinner menu included smaller ticket items which I appreciated. Did not want to order too large of a meal. Your 2 or 3 taco options were great. Shrimp tacos were really good.

We loved Rojo! Our server was Gretchen and she was delight to have. She took time to talk with us and truly get to know us! The food was great and we will be back again. Definitely recommend having a reservation prior which we were thankful we had because we were seated right away. We look forward to trying the new location in Maple Grove once it opens up.

Service was terrible. The server had a large section and was openly overwhelmed, irritable, and rude. When the food arrived 2 of the meals were cold, and the third meal included food allergens that were supposed to be substituted (this could be dangerous!). Replacement meals took more than 20 minutes, and when we asked the server to check to see if the food was coming soon, she responded, "That's not my job. My job is to take orders and bring drinks." So if you go, be aware that it is your responsibility as a patron to check with the kitchen on your own food. Also take great care eating here if you have food allergies or sensitivities.

Despite having made a reservation a couple weeks in advance, we were seated in an empty overflow room. Politely requested to wait for a seat in the main dining room, and were told no. Asked to move to a round instead of square table in the overflow room, and we’re told no. very unaccommodating and a terrible way to start the dinner experience

It use to be so good there. My last two experiences have not been good. Yesterday I had a chimichanga. It took really long to get our food. My chimi was overcooked and the sauce was so smokey tasting it was hard to eat. Also not a lot of meat inside and no lettuce or anything with it. The service was slow and it wasn't that busy. Such a bummer to see this restaurant go down hill.

Was an awesome experience. Was very busy when we arrived, but it looked like they were well-staffed. Our server was amazing. She even worked with the kitchen to make a dish without dairy for a person in my party. Food was delicious and the wait for the food was not long.
