Outdoor summer evening dining - incredible food, service and ambiance.
We were in town for a family wedding. We ate at Rohrs a few times. Service & food were great each time!
Way over priced for what you get. Don't buy a steak unless you don't expect much to eat.
We were seated very comfortably with a party of 5. Our server was friendly. The food did take a little longer than expected to come out for breakfast but it was worth the wait.
Great on-campus dining establishment. Excellent cocktails, food is fresh and delicious.
Food was not hot coming from kitchen
The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service. We felt very welcomed. Excellent safety protocol.
It is a perfect place to eat. The atmosphere, service, drinks, food, and large screen TV's
Very slow service. Got two orders out of three wrong. Food was very good.
We went on Friday for dinner. Service was sweaty and forgetful. Server repeatedly wiping forehead-very unsanitary. Had to repeatedly ask for silverware, drinks, missed food items from order. Had to send back 2 entrees. Pork chop not cooked all the way, Blacked salmon so salty it was inedible. Meal took so long did not care to stay for desert.
Welcome Week for Freshman
Newly designed Rohr's is beautiful and fun. Food was great.
Was very nice, even though it turned into a bar and pub place. Menu is a bit limited but very nice. That may be because of Covid. We had the ribeye and it was good. I think over priced. Service was very good, very attentive. The chocolate mousse cake was to die for. Everything we ate was very well prepared. Not too much like a pub place.
Awesome!! Will be back!!
Amazing food and excellent service. We loved the new concept. This is a different Rohr's - you must try it!
Food was excellent. will look forward to returning.
Newly opened - gorgeous, clean and great food - recommend the steak and frites if you have the appetite - good to share as well. Convenient and will return!
Remodel looks magnificent! Great update. Food was fine. Main complaint is the pour served for wine and cocktails. Consistently the pours are very stingy. We each had a martini w olives in the drink. The martini glass was only 3/4 full when served (take out the olives and down went the level). Wine- pour looked to be about 4 oz. It looked like they emptied the bottle and ran out and disregarded continuing to finish off a proper pour. This happens every time we visit. Hope to see this corrected!!
The new location is fantastic. The service was great. Personally, I would like an expanded menu. Outstanding job on the renovation.
The food was exceptional, start to finish. It was more than dinner; it was an experience. We took our time working our way through the courses, enjoying the food, the atmosphere and the company. We went to dinner on a Tuesday night and for a couple hours it felt like the weekend and like we were in Chicago or Indianapolis. The big-city feel of the place is like nothing else in South Bend. The caliber of the food was also like none other in the region. The steak was unreal, and reminded me of those served at St. Elmo's Steakhouse in Indianapolis. Here is what had: The Avocado Salad (with pan-fried quinoa); the Bacon Flatbread as an appetizer; the Pan Roasted Salmon (with lemon caper sauce) and the Filet Mignon for dinner with Brussel Sprouts (with sweet chili vinaigrette) and Mace and Cheese (with bacon, mushroom, pease and breadcrumbs) for sides. For dessert was a delicious chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.
Sorry to hear they are closing
Great environment for meeting. Food is always good.
I enjoy going to Sorin's. Will hate to see it close. Looking out the large windows while dining is a great treat.
Excellent meal although a bit overpriced in our opinion. Paula, our server, was excellent and the food was very, very good (except for the asparagus on the dover sole entree). The sides are way, way overpriced. It is too bad that Sorin's will close after the football season as it has always been a great place to celebrate a special event or to enjoy a special dinner.
We had a delicious breakfast, the waffles are the best!
Sorin’s is a wonderful option for lunch. The menu is rather extensive, and everything I’ve ordered is absolutely delicious. It is also nice to dine outside of some of the typical lunch spots in town. Eating at Sorin’s feels like a special occasion!
If you’re visiting the Notre Dame campus, treat yourself at least once to dinner at Sorin’s. Friendly service and well-executed dishes on one of the most beautiful campuses in the country.
Breakfast at Sorin’s offers some great options. It can get busy, and service then gets a little slow, but with the pot of coffee on the table the wait isn’t too bad.
Food was great, but the service was bad. Not attentive at all.
Great ambiance, food and service. Great for special occasion!
Great environment, great services and outstanding food.
The meal was very good overall though one or two of us found our chicken slightly undercooked in the middle. Service and atmosphere excellent.
Sorin's is a real hidden treasure in South Bend. The food is always lovely, the service is professional and attentive, the setting is quiet enough to let you enjoy your dinner guests and converse without shouting for restaurant noise that has become so common. Great wine list and the flaming Irish coffee tastes as amazing as the performance while it is being prepared.
We had both breakfast and dinner here. Both were amazing!!!! We had the duck/steak and risotto. Everyone enjoyed their entree. All the breakfast foods we tried were great too. Wait staff was excellent
Food and staff were amazing. We had both dinner and Sunday brunch there
We enjoyed a good dinner in a relaxing atmosphere.
Our waiter was attentive and gave good recommendations. Would definitely return and tell friends.
Excellent service and food. Would definitely return and recommend.
Duck special was amazing. Very tender which is hard to find with duck dishes. Scallops special also delicious. Corn chowder was fine. Service was attentive but drinks were slow due to a large cocktail crowd on the patio
Juan was Outstanding. He made our anniversary ever so special. Flowers, the strawberries and even the fired frangellico coffees were fantastic! We will always remember what he did for us! Great Experience!!
It was what one would expect in an upscale restaurant. The fact that it was in the Morris Inn on the Notre Dame campus made it more special.
