Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar Gastown
Menu-wise, going Rogue means doing things in the kitchen others said couldn’t be done. Like a completely fresh burger served medium-rare to make it the juiciest and best tasting in town. Or corn-dogs your not supposed to want but secretly crave.
Going Rogue means your horizons are greater than the “usual suspects” of chain restaurants. Rogue gives it’s customer an eclectic enough offering of food and surroundings, that they can feel and be themselves. You can go Rogue when you’re slumming, you can go Rogue when you need to impress. You can go Rogue with a date, your mates or with your boss.
Best of all, you can afford to go Rogue every day of the week. Need a stiff drink and tasty meal to get you through your daily grind and have enough left over to do it all again tomorrow? Go Rogue.
Great atmosphere, service was friendly and prompt, and food was on par. Haven't been here in 7 years, and still awesome.
Great service. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Had 4 vegan options which is great!
I had the restaurant call me to ask why I missed the reservation while I was at the restaurant. I then had open table email me asking why I missed the reservation. I gave the name under which reservation was done so can't tell where the mixed up came from. The food was good, but the music was too loud .
While visiting Vancouver, and pre-cruise night, we had dinner at the Rogue Kitchen and Wetbar. It was located very close to our waterfront hotel. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice! The restaurant is accessed from inside the train station. Highly recommend for a nice casual place!
It was my first time at the Waterfront location and I loved it! They sat us at a table at the mezzanine section, where it's quieter and also gave a great view of the whole place. The well-lit open space with floor-to-ceiling windows and buzz of socials happening all around , not to mention the friendly waitress quick on her feet, make it an experience worth repeating.
Made a reservation for 3 no issues at all, was greeted promptly upon arrival and shown to my table.
Salad options were limited, there was no Cobb salad which was the only issue I have. I do a lot of business lunches and can’t really eat burgers and fries all the time.
My boyfriend and I came in for an anniversary, no one went above and beyond to make our experience stand out here but overall prices were fair and food was good. I would recommend them to a friend, it’s worth a try.
I didn't find the food as good as it used to be - or perhaps it was just an OFF night. Everything else was good.
Very convenient for dinner when you’ll need to catch a train after.
The best nachos platter I have ever eaten. I like the mango dices instead of olives! Kudos to the chef!
It’s a fun spot for happy hour. I wish they had bellinis. The cocktails are okay, didn’t like the sangria’s.
The food was great, and our server went above and beyond our expectations, he was amazing! This was my first time here and I will definitely be back.
Amazing service and great food! Our server was very pleasant and the food tasted great!
Great location and Happy Hour! Great location for girl's night out.
Awesome service and food. Will definitely be back.
We quite often eat at the Rogue prior to an event. The service and food is great and we get in and out in a timely fashion. Reservations recommended though.
We were there for a girls get together pre concert It was terrific...will recommend for sure...
Great food choices for people eating keto. $28 each including drinks , tax and tip was very affordable and the food was delicious.
our server I think his name was Kal took long to come to out table to take our order. My steak was overcooked on the outside so it was a but tough. Overall the experience was ok.
Main course of fish and chips was good. As was the salmon risotto. The caramel apple pie dessert was very dry and unable to cut through the base. But I would come back.
Great food and staff. I always have a good time there :)
Service on the edge of overwhelmed and thus slower than expectedly
Always a great stop over for a business lunch. One of my Go-to places in Vancouver
My tacos came cold. Server did not do a quality check
Great beer list, delicious food, really good service - ideal for casual dining with big or small groups.
Server had an attitude.
The Ceasar salad was awful. Premade. It obviously was sitting. The burger was good.
Overpriced for value.
Still a good reliable hostelry that is very centrally situated downtown. Imaginative, tasty menu that represents good value for money. The Eli Gerskovitch formula still works well!
My and my friends bever been here before and we had a great time! We tried the veggie burger (they have a new one) that was really tasty, also with a french fries as a side and it was a lot of food. A place I would recommend!
I really liked the ambience and the server/hosts were friendly! I ordered the pokebowl though and it was a definitely mistake. $18.99 and wasn’t very good.
Went to try their truffle fries which were great but the service left a bad taste in my mouth first waitress almost completely ignored us. When we all of a sudden had a new server come introduce himself because the previous went off duty (without telling us) service did improve moderately but the battle for my business was already lost.
They gave us a table for six there was only five of us when we first said down the waitress spilled water on the place where nobody was sitting and left it there for the whole entire time we ate food until we paid the bill
Good food and great service as always. Good spot for business lunches
Perfect place to meet for lunch, be able to talk and rely on good food.
Upstairs was much quieter than downstairs which was nice to converse
Really enjoyed my meal at The Rogue this past week. I didn't go for the regular stuff I usually order. I tried the Buddha Bowl and I was very happy with the food. Tasted great!
Went there for a business lunch. The menu options were pretty good. Service was good and the location is fantastic (just in Waterfront station). My poke bowl was just ok but my colleagues loved their dishes. Would go back if I'm trying to find a place for big group but I wouldn't really go there for food.
It’s a great spot for a casual meeting over lunch
Went to Rogue for a client lunch and was impressed with the quick service and for putting us in a nice quiet area. The food and staff were excellent. Definitely recommend Rogue for business lunches or any group event.
The three of us who had the fish and chips wished they weren’t served in round bowls that twirl and on paper! The seafood chowder was not “heavy on the seafood” as advertised. It was heavy on potatoes and only lukewarm. Our server was great.
A good eating spot for a quick lunch. Decent price.
