Roghanis is the very top of my price range but the food was spectacular, the service was top notch and the facility is an amazing addition to Eagle. I would certainly eat there again on a very special occasion. In spite of the very upper end dining experience it was not pretentious at all. I thoroughly enjoyed it !
This was a fabulous dining experience. The braised short ribs were the absolute best, with enormous flavor and fresh vegetables. I can’t say enough good things about the service. Top notch.
Fabulous meal, great service and lovely atmosphere.
I went out to eat with my girlfriend to honor her past uncle who worked in the kitchen. They went above and beyond! Every staff member had very kind words for my girlfriend and she felt incredibly loved. The food was excellent & the service was superb. Thank you so much for the love you showed us. I will definitely be back!
Celebrated our 25th Anniversary and they made every effort to make it as romantic as possible for us. They even had a musician singing romantic songs as we ate. The food was magnificent, the waiter was terrific and the ambience was wonderful. They made it very special.
Only occasionally does one find a restaurant that is outstanding in all of the major attributes a great dining experience should have. Roghani's is such a restaurant. A group of four of us went there for lunch last week. We each had different menu items, which were outstanding in taste and presentation. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating and made sure we did not have to ask for more water or coffee or anything else. The luncheon menu had a broad variety of items that would satisfy anyone with special dietary needs. We had salted caramel cheesecake for dessert, which none of us had had previously but which turned out to be fabulous. The dining room at Roghani's is decorated beautifully and the tables are separated enough that one can enjoy eating without a loud vibe going. All in all Roghani's gave us a memorable dining experience only found in the best of restaurants.
The overall experience was wonderful. The tables were beautifully set, and there was a large tea selection. There was plenty of food. My only food suggestion was to offer only 1 scone, either with the small salad and quiche (both were nice), or with the tier service. Scones are so bread filling. I would add in some petit fours, truffles, or other small finger savory in lieu of a second scone.
All the wait staff were excellent. Our server Zach was very helpful and informative. Our sommelier was equally charming, knowledgable, and helpful. We were also check on by other servers to ensure we had a great experience, and we did! Thank you for your high tea. We look forward to a Saturday or Sunday service included in your offering in the future. Thank you!
One of the nicest dinners my wife and I have ever had Adam made it especially nice with his music
Roghani's at the Chateau is beautiful. Granted, the current protocols for table spacing/social distancing can disrupt the overall ambience of a small intimate restaurant such as Roghani's, however, the service and menu choices were excellent as always. The visual presentation of the dinner salad was pleasing and incredibly fresh . . . it all came from their gardens. We went classic, ordered the braised short ribs, excellent. Wine selection isn't extensive, but still broad spectrum. Service was attentive and not disruptive, just right.
It was our daughter’s birthday. We had a fabulous meal, good conversation , wonderful wine and fabulous service. We will go again.
Perfect date night or special event venue. Very Covid-19 safe!
Excellent food, service and entertainment. I would highly recommend going there for a special treat.
Because of Covid concerns, Chateau graciously packaged everything for us to take home. They included all the exquisite and delicious tea morsels, as well as 3 teapots for 3 different types of tea. They even insisted on providing their thrice-filtered water for us to enjoy their tea at its finest. Everything was absolute perfection!
This is a lovely tea ! And a very fun special occasion experience. It would be nice if they offered other cocktails or a full wine list as the selections are all very sweet. Our waiter was great as he offered champagne from the restaurant that was very good!
Our first time... and we will be back! A very friendly, no, an exceptionally friendly staff! The Brie was an amazing appetizer and the wine was wonderful! We had the Chicken Marsala and the flavors were spot in. The Chicken itself was a bit chewy, however. The Creme Brûlée’s was absolutely the BEST ever! We are thinking Idaho Fudge Company needs to have our next company party here! Excellent experience
The owner and employees were some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, but the food was very bland and not the caliber I’d expect for the price. The rolls were delicious, however.
Outstanding!! The food, ambiance and service were outstanding. We are definitely going back.
Our server was amazing!!! Very friendly and helpful.
Enjoy a sophisticated atmosphere with world class dining.

Expensive but worth every dollar! Not to be missed.
The ambiance was delightful with the most wonderful classical music playing in the background. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The dessert was a flourless chocolate cake that was the best quality of chocolate I’ve ever eaten—and I know my chocolate! I was touched most of all by the kindness of staff; their professionalism and caring made the experience complete!
Very expensive, very small portions and a mix up of food.
We had an excellent meal. It was our first time visiting. Great food, fabulous service, beautiful surroundings! The COVID-19 scare is keeping people from going out to dinner--please don't forget our servers and others who serve the public. They need to make a living, too. Roghani's will not disappoint!
Our food was not acceptable! Lamb chops appeared to be reheated and not freshly prepared and lukewarm at best. The spare ribs were very small, lukewarm, and fatty. It was a very bad experience to the point we were not charged. Our corkage fee was waived. We tipped our waiter Robert who did a nice job!
Just not good. Service was good but food was like it was from a wedding the day before. No innovation in the menu and generally bland. Our duck fat polenta needed a knife to cut thru it and was woefully underdone. We won’t return.
*Update to review:
Thank you to Roghani's for reaching out to express their apologies about our recent experience. While it does not change my rating, their concern was appreciated.
We had high hopes for Roghani's at Chateau des Fleurs, a beautiful destination. We had not eaten here since it was a mediocre French restaurant. Unfortunately, our expectations were not realized.
We started with wine, which was the best part of the experience, although overpriced. Our dinner was with business associates, so we had a little to discuss while choosing entrees. Our server was pushy and tried to hurry us, even though there were only two tables, six other people, dining there besides us. In fact, no one else arrived during our meal.
The feta was chosen for an appetizer, but our server suggested that the brie was a better choice. Only later, did we realize it was just an up-sale at over twice the cost.
After ordering entrees, we waited 45 minutes for them to arrive. The salmon was cool to the touch and very overcooked and dry. The almond butter was nowhere to be seen or tasted, and the top of the salmon had a bit of once-fresh herbs that were now dried and unappealing, apparently having been left under the warming light for too long.
The medium-rare-ordered steak arrived well done and flavorless.
To be fair, the short ribs were the best entree we ordered, although not outstanding for the $34 price.
For the same amount of money, we could have enjoyed in a couple of different great Eagle restaurants, including the Tavern at Eagle Island, Bacquet's, and Bella Aquila, and received a better meal and had a more enjoyable experience. We won't be back. Such a disappointment for a beautiful venue.
The restaurant is one of our favorite
Adam the singer is awesome
What a lovely evening and dinner with my daughter. Our dinner was in one word, spectacular! We went to dinner a couple days after Valentine’s Day, so the restaurant was a little less busy. We had the lamb chops and steak and lobster. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the steak and lobster were very nicely done as well. I want to say I was amazed at the attention to detail from start to finish. The bread, salad and appetizers were all very good. and prepared nicely. The house Red Blend wine was really a good suggestion.
Thanks to the chef and the staff and especially to the new general manager Nick, who took the time to say hello and make the evening especially memorable.
Nice ambience but overpriced based on quality and choice of food quality of service.
Hands down the WORST dining experience I have had in the greater Boise area. Decor and ambiance were good, food was mass prepared, dry overcooked, cold mashed potatoes, very limited menu all at top shelf prices. $14 French onion soup that was so over salted it could not be eaten. $42 entree that tasted like it was made the day before and by desert I had no interest in trying anymore of their buffet food. Waiter was good but duties were split between serving their version of fine dining and the dinner theatre in the other room. It was a memorable Valentine’s Day for all the wrong reasons.
The host and hostess at the restaurant was exceptional. The service took a little longer than expected, but we left very satisfied. Will return.
Such a beautiful place they truly strive to give you a authentic experience! Our waiter was so friendly and provided excellent service!
The food was crafted with care and attention to detail, each bite was memorable! The selection of savoury and sweet was balanced, and the timing of the food to our table was perfect.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance! We can't wait to go back.
Love Jilles. Love Nick. Love the chef. My happy place.
This was an anniversary dinner that was planned in advance and the staff, atmosphere and food was outstanding. This is not the first time we have been to this restaurant and it won't be the last.
Great ambiance and even better was the server, Gilles. He was entertaining, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The downside was my rack of lamb. The panko crust was so salty that I had to scrape it off to make it edible!
I cannot believe this gem isn’t more heavily trafficked. Eagle, Star and Meridian... if you haven’t been you’re missing out!
We went to dinner for our anniversary. The entertainment was absolute perfection as was the creme brûlée. We enjoyed the personal service from Gilles who was so knowledgeable on the wine as well as the menu. Will definitely return!
Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The romantic atmosphere, the live lounge singer, the wine, and the food, all came together as a memory with my fiance that I'll treasure.
Really amazing staff. Singer was awesome! Knows the business and the room! Great Service, very attentive. Matre D was on point. Food more of 3.5 stars, over salted but very good. Overall excellent!
