Nice ambiance but surprisingly mediocre food/service.
A neighborhood gem! They were very attentive and made sure we had a lovely experience. Food was delicious.
Overall attentive service and delicious food. Recommend the squash and quinoa salad with and egg or two! Wish we could had sat outside but it was a little too cold. Will need to return to do it in warmer weather!
Roey's has a great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious pizzas! Salad was average, but overall a great spot for either date night, a friends' night out, or family eating.
Awesome local spot with great food, relaxing environment, and friendly service. One of West Village's hidden gems.
A very cute, very Instagrammable (sorry) restaurant to visit in the Village. So happy to have finally tried it! I do wish that my entree for brunch -- the baked egg dish, that really resembled a shakshuka -- had a little less of the sauce and potentially came with a side salad. Definitely felt the tomato paste overpowered the dish completely. However, a great experience, and would definitely be willing to try again!
Great pizza, good cocktail selection, nice range of options. Very good service and love the overall design of the restaurant.
Really cute ambiance. Friendly but slow staff. Delicious food. Highly recommend the Kale Spinach dip!
We had a great brunch. The pancake is amazing. Service was somewhere between over attentive and rushed. Lovely spot with lots of light.
My favorite restaurant...period. They get things right that I don’t even know we’re important. Wish I lived closer!
Disappointed in the service. Waited for our table for a long time (had a reservation). Service was slow and not consistent. We ordered another round of drinks which we never received until we had to point out that we were charged for them on the bill but never got. Definitely disappointing. Food was tasty though.
We were seated at a communal table, which wasn’t made clear to us until we showed up and it was a tight squeeze. I had specified that it was a special occasion. Service was not great, servers seemed agitated.
Good food, very slow service
Great brunch and great food. At peak brunch time the place was crowded so obviously the noise level was high but that's expected. Food was yummy, probably only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the presentation of the plates which was quite basic in my opinion. My pancakes were amazing and everyone else loved their dishes too. I highly recommend Roey's for your next brunch!
Heavenly pancakes...great mimosas... 2nd time here . Still amazing experience
Blonde Bartender annoyingly unfriendly despite our smiles. Too noisy. Food ok.
Very nice, great tiramisu, pizza and salad. Great music.
More waitstaff needed. But otherwise a great experience
We got there early and it was quiet. As the restaurant got busier, it got louder and became harder to hear. Food was DELICIOUS!
Service needs improvement. We arrived early for our reservation. The place was empty and asked if we could be seated early. Wait staff made us wait at the bar and never called us back. While we waited, we saw other patrons come in after us with no reservations and they were seated asap. Wait staff made eye contact with us and nothing happened. As we were about to leave and cancel our reservation, the wait staff ran after us and seated us without apology. We only ate because we were hungry. Return visit likely not but I wish this pizza joint all the best!
Really enjoyed our dinner here, the waiter helped us select an excellent wine, and we split a tasty arugula salad and pizza! Cool atmosphere and decor on top.
The kitchen was SO slow. They told us we needed to be out by 1, but our food took over an hour to come out of the kitchen.
Food was impeccable. My boyfriend has not stopped talking about the pizza - it’s been almost 24 hours. The chicken was delicious, very flavorful and not dry at all. Highly recommend the drink that comes with a marshmallow (sooooo tasty!!). Place is also very cute inside. Only problem is we went on a Friday night and it was so noisy. But definitely would recommend to a friend and will be coming back very soon and especially for the pizza
I've been a few times. Wait staff is professional ad usually good but occasionally flops. For example the last time, a waiter assistant touched my neck with a scaldingly hot pizza pan he was delivering to the table next to me and didn't even notice or apologize even after a yelped (the noise not the service). As the strong review indicated, the food is reliable and delicious in a fun spot.
Great food and service. Pizzas and salads were on point. Love Roey’s!
We really loved the Dutch Pancake and baked eggs and thought the space was cool. However our server told us they were out of mimosas (OJ??) but couldn’t give us alternatives for the OJ. That was a bit odd. They eventually served us mimosas but how do you run out of OJ that’s in every corner store in NYC?
Convenient village location, cute room, great energy, wonderful server -- and we loved our brunch. The puffy Dutch pancake was especially yummy.
Food was great, service wasn’t the quickest. Reservation was for brunch and they were very busy. We opted to do the 1 hour AYCD and we had to repeatedly ask our server for mimosa refills. Otherwise a good experience! Will return.
Amazing cocktails and pizza!
First time, won't be the last. Excellent food and service.
Most places that have an all you can drink special take forever to acknowledge you, let alone bring you a new drink, but our waiter was so attentive we didn’t even have to ask for new beverages! He made sure we always had fresh spritzers. The food was so good and a reasonable price too! 10/10 would recommend.
We loved Roey’s and our two kids did as well. Our waiter was attuned to our needs and the drinks and food menu hitbeveryones sweet spot. Hard to find family-friendly, high quality restaurants like this. We’ll be back.
Everything was great! But the convection oven was exuding this absurdly annoying noise that vibrated through mine and my friends whole bodies leaving us essentially paralyzed every time it went off. No one else seemed to notice it which was alarming to us because it felt like we were dogs and the oven was a dog whistle meant to torture us. Food and service were great though!
Made a reservation for 6:45 for four people; I arrived first at 6:30 and they sat us at 6:45 when 3/4 of our party was there. We were told by the hostess that they needed the table at 8 PM even though we made a reservation. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table while we waited for our fourth. Was then told by the waitress that we’d have to give up the table because we couldn’t just sit and drink with a reservation, we had to order food - even though they told us they did not have a single other table that we could move to. After explaining to the hostess that we didn’t want to move to the bar & that we were planning to order food before we found out they put us on a time constraint we were told we could stay.
To make things worse, there was a mouse running through the Christmas garland on the wall. Horrible service and has rodents. We left and went somewhere else. Wouldn’t go back ever again
