We are a high-low, fine-casual concept making simple, seasonal American cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy, France, & Spain.

Expect to see dishes that you are used to seeing at fancy restaurants & some you would typically find at a drive-thru or dive bar. but they all are served on a plate from Goodwill.

Our menus are ever-changing, not just by the season but by the day. we embrace change, creativity & inspiration every chance we get.

For groups of 2 people, we recommend ordering 4-6 dishes from the three sections of the menu (depending on how hungry you are!). for example - 2 snacks, 1 small share plate, & 1 large share plate.

The food is designed to be enjoyed family-style. As such, your food will be coursed out as we see fit. for groups ordering individually, we will do our best to get your order out all at once, but you may experience some slightly longer wait times.

Outstanding menu! The croquettes were original and delicious! And my non-fish eating husband also enjoyed the salmon. Halibut and steak were fantastic too.

Outstanding meal and a wonderful server. The only hiccup was that, in a party of two, the gnocchi arrived more than five minutes after the salmon, so we ended up eating in shifts. That said, the warmth of the service and the quality of the food more than made up for it. The albacore crudo was a perfect start, followed by incredibly fresh radishes and sugar snap pea salad. As for the mains, the gnocchi was among the best I’ve ever had, and the king salmon was equally impressive. Aside from the timing glitch, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Hands down the best food in Bellingham. Service is great, menu stays fresh, space is nice and comfortable.

This was our second time at Roe. We loved it the first time but this time the food was decidedly underwhelming. The portion sizes of the appetizers were tiny and yet very expensive. That would have been ok if they tasted amazing but this just wasn’t the case. Very sad to have such a disappointing second visit. We left after the appetizers and ate elsewhere.

Dan and Izzy put together an absolutely wonderful family style dinner for my group of 10. They were very flexible in accepting such a large party and were able to accommodate food allergies without any issue. Out whole group was raving about the food and the cocktails for the rest of our trip. If you want a meal in Bellingham that you'll be talking about for months, this is the one!

We recently dined at Roe in Bellingham to celebrate our anniversary. While the reservation noted the occasion, it went completely unacknowledged—which left us wondering why they ask about special events if they don’t follow through. The food was solid, I’d give it a 4 out of 5, but the service came up short. Erin’s meal arrived at least five minutes after mine, and I could mine sitting ready before it was finally brought to the table. The chef did offer an apology, which was appreciated, but overall, service felt uneven and slower compared to nearby tables. A good meal, but when you’re marking a special occasion, the little things make all the difference.

First time eating at Roe and we loved it! I had the oysters and black cod. My Dad got the gnocchi. We both got the happy hour Old Fashioned. Everything tasted amazing! The gnocchi was best that I’ve had since Giuseppe’s restaurant before it closed. Perfectly fluffy. The plating was beautiful as well. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The ambience is cozy, feminine, and eclectic in the best way. It wasn’t too loud. The bench seating was comfy. I will definitely be recommending Roe to friends and family. We’re already planning on coming back!

Incredible! Elevated farm to table fare - seasonal, delicious, beautifully presented, generous small plate portions ideal for sharing. Owners both stopped by to say hello. Staff attentive. Fantastic experience.

Roe is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Bellingham. Everything is always so fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. The vibe is cozy but modern, the staff is super friendly, and every dish feels special. Can’t recommend it enough!

Huge disappointment but I think with more staff training and some menu tweaks this could be improved. We had 3 different servers during dinner and our table wasn't ready for our reservation. We ended up waiting at the bar for 20min. The host didn't communicate anything to us other than we didn't have a table. Nobody walked us through the menu which has a lot of fun and unique ingredients. We ended up spending another 20min just googling what was in the menu and drink menu. Would have loved to have even a brief walk through of the menu by any of our multiple servers. I'm type 1 diabetic and order diet soda to drink which they didn't carry. So I had to stick to water the entire night which is a bummer. The oysters were fabulous. The salmon foccacia was complex and interesting but too sweet, needs some tweaking but was definitely fun. The reuben croquettes were inexplicably flavorless, how? The asparagus was pretty good but forgettable. The panko crusted halibut however was abysmal. Flavorless dry fish served on a bed of warm pickles. Wild. It was also a $45 entrée served with no side. That was insane, what are we doing here. The portions were so small that we went to taco time on our way home. With the rotating servers we didn't know who we were supposed to be talking to, nobody was all that friendly or helpful. Honestly the halibut was so laughably bad its unforgivable, but any level of service would have helped a lot. The place is beautifully decorated and has a really cool vibe. I wish they were hitting what they're going for because I would love to have more creative foodie fine dining places in bellingham. I'd be open to trying it again in the future if it wasn't such an investment just to experiment, so unfortunately we won't be coming back.
