We are a high-low, fine-casual concept making simple, seasonal American cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy, France, & Spain.

Expect to see dishes that you are used to seeing at fancy restaurants & some you would typically find at a drive-thru or dive bar. but they all are served on a plate from Goodwill.

Our menus are ever-changing, not just by the season but by the day. we embrace change, creativity & inspiration every chance we get.

For groups of 2 people, we recommend ordering 4-6 dishes from the three sections of the menu (depending on how hungry you are!). for example - 2 snacks, 1 small share plate, & 1 large share plate.

The food is designed to be enjoyed family-style. As such, your food will be coursed out as we see fit. for groups ordering individually, we will do our best to get your order out all at once, but you may experience some slightly longer wait times.

Incredible! Elevated farm to table fare - seasonal, delicious, beautifully presented, generous small plate portions ideal for sharing. Owners both stopped by to say hello. Staff attentive. Fantastic experience.

Roe is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Bellingham. Everything is always so fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. The vibe is cozy but modern, the staff is super friendly, and every dish feels special. Can’t recommend it enough!

Huge disappointment but I think with more staff training and some menu tweaks this could be improved. We had 3 different servers during dinner and our table wasn't ready for our reservation. We ended up waiting at the bar for 20min. The host didn't communicate anything to us other than we didn't have a table. Nobody walked us through the menu which has a lot of fun and unique ingredients. We ended up spending another 20min just googling what was in the menu and drink menu. Would have loved to have even a brief walk through of the menu by any of our multiple servers. I'm type 1 diabetic and order diet soda to drink which they didn't carry. So I had to stick to water the entire night which is a bummer. The oysters were fabulous. The salmon foccacia was complex and interesting but too sweet, needs some tweaking but was definitely fun. The reuben croquettes were inexplicably flavorless, how? The asparagus was pretty good but forgettable. The panko crusted halibut however was abysmal. Flavorless dry fish served on a bed of warm pickles. Wild. It was also a $45 entrée served with no side. That was insane, what are we doing here. The portions were so small that we went to taco time on our way home. With the rotating servers we didn't know who we were supposed to be talking to, nobody was all that friendly or helpful. Honestly the halibut was so laughably bad its unforgivable, but any level of service would have helped a lot. The place is beautifully decorated and has a really cool vibe. I wish they were hitting what they're going for because I would love to have more creative foodie fine dining places in bellingham. I'd be open to trying it again in the future if it wasn't such an investment just to experiment, so unfortunately we won't be coming back.

The food was all very creative and seemed locally, seasonally curated. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. I loved having kitchen staff deliver the food to the table and the owner? stepping in to pick up empty plates. We had delicious craft cocktails and mocktails and very attentive service throughout.

Delicious food & menu has some unique offerings! Staff are friendly, helpful, & casual. The open kitchen allows you to watch the chefs prepare the food which adds interest to the experience!

Roe is a welcomed and new restaurant in our community. Items on the menu and preparations are original, but not "crazy". Everything we ordered was delicious. Everyone we came into contact with on the staff was delightful and eager to help. We will surely return!!

Super cute restaurant and great food. A little pricey for the proportion side but still delicious. We were mostly displeased with being seated directly next to the only other couple in the room, when there were several other 2 tops available with more privacy. The couple next to us definitely looked subdued after we were seated and it impacted our experience as well... our tables were so close we were basically double dating. They also seemingly bring out food as it is ready, so if you are hoping for a traditional nonshared meal, some members of your party may be left in the awkward scenario of either eating alone or letting food get cold.

Everything we had was very delicious. The menu is unique and I’m looking forward to trying some more of the dishes — but I know they’ll probably have changed. next time. I love that there are new things to discover each time.. Service was friendly but the kitchen seemed quite backed up as it was busy. Looking forward to returning soon.

Roe is my very favorite dinner spot in Bellingham currently. Having eaten here four times in as many months - and looking forward to returning very soon - I’m happy to say Roe is consistent. Always friendly, attentive staff - first drink orders are taken and delivered shortly after seating. Staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu - it feels like a family place, but never slouchy or gushy. The food is fresh, fresh, creative but not too cheffy and always so yummy. The bavette steak is dreamy and the fries that accompany the steak make worthy partners. The kitchen treats all the ingredients with respect. Fish is cooked to perfection, vegetables are just as good.

The food was outstanding. We had a large group, so we were able to try the entire menu. Everything was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Our server, I think his name was Sam, was so accommodating and patient. We had some older Korean family and young kids that were handful and he made them feel special, great work all around.
