About Rodizio Brasil
The Real Brazilian Tradition in Old Montreal.
The specialty of the house is the “Rodízio”. This concept offers the possibility of tasting, in “all you can eat” way, plus then 10 differents types of meats, served on the spit in each table and the meat is sliced straight on your plate. At Rodízio Brasil, we use the “all you can eat” system not only for meats, but also for the delicious salad bar, where you’ll find rice, beans, fries which are part of the Brazilian meat. In addition, we have a tasty menu that offers other options to the ones who prefer fish, sea food, pasta or chicken.
We also have a bar where you can have a drink while watching sporting events and others.

Rodizio Brasil Ratings and Reviews
Over all not bad but they don't answer either email or phone. However they accepted a Groupon without question despite me not telling them until I arrived. It's a very small place so definitely make reservations. The food was decent but not mind blowing except for the pork which tasted a little funky.
I had read some reviews, they were a mixed bag to say the least. I found the meats to be incredibly juicy & flavourful, the service was excellent and the ambiance was very nice as well. I’d highly reccomend it to anybody who likes a tasting menu of a wide selection of meat.
Pas now! Regretable experience.
Food was amazing, but extremely overpriced.
Taking into account strange system of buffet, no menu, no salad-garnish is included, you pay separately for salad 15cad, for all-you-can-eat meat offer (you get pieces of some different kinds of meat) 20cad, and if you order "Brazilian" specialities - steaks (2 small pieces of meat) plus 20 - no take away if you can't finish.
Total disapointment - tasty, but 60 cad for a few pieces of meat and some salad - never again :)
Rodízio Brasil was my best experience so far in Montreal! The meats was extremely good, the chicken and the fraldinha was my favourite and so was the salad bar, and yucca fries on point! Our waiter was very kind and smiling all the time. The staff in general were all like that! Authentic Brazilian food, I'll come back for sure and recommend 100%. Best place for meat lovers, but they also have vegetarians options!
I have been to many Brazilian Churrascaria restaurants and this one was by far the worse. We ordered the Rodizio and the beef, chicken and pork was over cooked (not tender / hard) and very salty - the only meat that was palatable was the sausage. Someone in our party ordered the Portuguese-style Grilled Cod, which was very hard and resembled plastic.
We advised the server and he apologized indicating that the chef had overcooked it by 5 minutes and did not offer any compensation. We then spoke to the manager who gave us a 50% reduction on the fish because 'we had eaten half.
Finally, they added 15% service charge as expected because we were a party of 6, but then added tax on top of the service charge!
All in all, a very poor experience to what was to be a family celebration dinner... would strongly recommend you avoid this restaurant, especially since there are so many great options in the area.
A wonderful meal and a lovely evening. Our server was quick to explain the process for this meat extravaganza and all the staff were involved over the course of the evening - attentive about drinks and replenishing our plates with delicious samples of pork, beef and chicken.
I've been to a number of different Churrascaria style restaurants, so I was expecting the same. You flip the card on the table to the green side, and succulent cuts of meat are brought to your table. Basically we got about 3 trips to our table, and each time the meat was dry and over cooked. I had to ask for the picanha, and they first looked at me like they didn't know what I was talking about before bringing out some more overcooked meat. The salad bar was pretty poor quality also. In the middle of our meal, they started to clean up the restaurant, so we were presented with the aroma of pine sol to accompany the dry meat. There was still another hour left for closing, so this is really not acceptable. For the money spent, I would not recommend this place.
Food - My whole table had the "all you can eat" dinner, and while the flavor was good, the meat was mostly over-cooked and dry. The beans were terrible. The fried bananas were excellent.
Service - Our waitress was very nice, but she didn't speak much English. There was only one other table in the restaurant the entire time, and yet the service was still lacking.
Ambiance - We were there during a hot, summer, evening rainstorm. The restaurant had all the windows open, and though we didn't get wet, it was hot and humid inside. I don't know if they have air conditioning, but it would have been more comfortable with the windows shut and the a/c on.
All in all, it was a disappointing experience. There were a few good meats and some good desserts, but it was a lot of money for a generally mediocre experience. One can have better meals in Montreal for the same amount of money in the same neighborhood.
The people who work at this place are extremely nice and professional. I really appreciated the service that I got and impressed with how good the food was. A little expensive, but you get a lot of food! Great restaurant. Thank you for a pleasant food experience
On n'ai pas resté long temps.
Was expecting it to be similar to Copa Cabana (in Niagara Falls) but it was like the poor cousin.
The steak was average, at best, certainly not excellent. The chicken and lamb was good though. The other items like grilled pineapple and fried banana were quite good.
My star ranking is based on a $40 / plate price - the food and service wasn't bad, but given that we paid $40 each it was not satisfactory.
The atmosphere was odd, it was not very busy and so it was strange. It is hard to put into words, but it was not what you would expect from a Brazilian steakhouse on a Saturday night.
Overall I was disappointed, especially given my high hopes from previous Brazilian steak house experiences.
We should have left the minute we walked in. When we arrived half of the tables were empty but had reservation signs, so we were sat right beside a couple on a date. The buffet was tiny and limited, the plates were wet, and very small portions of meat are served (with the buffet). The portuguese style chicken and salad were flavorless. Their fries are the prefried ones you can buy at any supermarket. The food served looks like something you´d get in cafeteria. Anyways, the reserved tables were never filled up and we got stuck sitting right beside the couple on a date. It was ackward. Overall this a disappointing restaurant. No, I do not recommend it.
The place was empty. We were The only ones there, weird for a Saturday night. The meat was very dry... Maybe due to the low turnover. Seemed like its been grilled on low temperature all day long. Lost all the juice and the taste.
The Salad bar was poor. Not much choice.
I am a fan of the Brazillian Steak House. This place was a bit of a dissapointment when compared to previous experiences elsewhere.
On the positive side - drinks were great and service was charming. The meats were pretty good - steaks and lamb were the best of the bunch. Chicken was decent. Sausage was almost inedible.
The biggest issue is the salad bar (or lack there of). It is tiny and has very little in the way of fresh veggie and fruit options. You need this component to be robust in order to balance the onslaught of meat. I would not recommend this experience as lack of salad bar leaves the whole experience a bit lacking.
Restaurant located in Old Montreal area, great location, salad bar is nothing to brag about, very very small, yet you aren't here for salad. When you order a soda, they do charge for refills (didn't know till after we got bill). Great choices of meat, they bring all types of meats to your table, then ask if there is something in particular you want again. Very well priced over all.
I made a last minute reservation for 6 people as I had had great experience with Brazilian Steakhouses before. Arriving at the place 15 minutes after I sent my reservation via open table, I was welcomed by a hostess at the door. While she was looking for a proper spot, I had time to check out the salad and sides bar (thats where you get all kinds of sides for your meat plates). The one downstairs was rather disappointing as it was just a square 6 feet x 6 feet bar. To be fair I used to live in Denver and dined at the Rodizio and Fogo de Chou (or so) with a side bar of at least 10 feet length where even vegetarians would have had a blast choosing from. I was asking the friendly front door hostess if there is another sides and salad bar in the restaurant and if it was bigger. She said, that upstairs is a much bigger one and and we shall take a seat upstairs. I had my sister visiting from overseas and thought I show her something great and went upstairs. Before I could even set a foot on to the floor I was"intercepted" by an extremely bearish waitress who told me that there was no access to the upper floor and I must go downstairs. After telling her that I had a reservation and was advised to go up, she just waved with her hands and didnt even leave me to go out of the staircase but told me to leave the upper floor. This was not only rude but also embarrassing in front my sister. The whole upper floor was empty and unfortunately I couldn't spot the "big" sides bar either. After the lady from downstairs came up, the two ladies got into an argument at which time I decided that I had enough and left the place.
Dont know what was going on but no reason whatsoever to treat me and family like this.
In all fairness, I probably guess, that my case was an exemption but the small salad bar still sub par for a town like Montreal.
