About Rococo on Penn
East Coast style fresh seafood, killer pasta and a huge variety of traditional favorites from the New England area. Simple, with a focus on fresh seafood. Rococo is known for the freshness of their seafood, including overnight deliveries of specialties like steamer clams and non-farm raised salmon. But of course, Rococo is best known for having the best darn Crab Cake around, a lightly baked collection of Maryland Lump crab and secret ingredients. No frozen then fried hockey puck here.
The Clam Chowder (say “Chowda” when ordering) is always a crowd pleaser along with exotic dishes such as Hawaiian Poke, Escargot and Rococo Cookies which are savory (not sweet) bites of various flavors.
There’s a lot of chophouse fare are Rococo as well. Steaks, Pork and Duck are always on the menu. Because Rococo is chef-driven, the menu changes seasonally and multiple daily features are the norm. Rococo also has Vegan and Gluten-Free options.

Rococo on Penn Ratings and Reviews
This is absolutely a hidden gem in the city!! We went for brunch with the family and it was phenomenal! The menu is creative yet has something for everyone and not one thing was bad. The waiter was fun and energetic and really livened up our experience since there weren't many people there. The chef even came out to talk to us about the food and wanted us to try his homemade cheesecake just because - hands down the best cheesecake ever and half the table doesn't even like cheesecake! This place has a great ambiance whether you want a delicious romantic dinner that is affordable or a fun experience with family and friends for any meal- though you have to get the crab cakes which are to die for!!
Food was not worth the price. I could barely eat my pasta it was that bad. The chef came out and asked how one of our dishes was. He said he made it the day before and was worried how it would be today. So many places I'd rather go for a "nice" dinner. Do not recommend!
Service is usually gracious, though the menu is heavy on meat and fish a vegetarian can still find some variety, mostly by looking at sides and appetizers. The mushroom dishes are among my favorite.
On our visit the computers were down, resulting in a long wait when checking out, and I don't think our Open Table reservation got checked in, but these things happen.
The food and service was excellent. The crab cake was to die for! The wine list however could use an upgrade as it was from 2016. The decor was also pretty cool. It was as if one stepped right into a restaurant in midtown Manhattan. We will certainly visit again, even it is for the crab cake and the smore trifle with the dark chocolate ganache.
Was my first time to Rococo on Penn and will be coming back.
My girlfriend and I went for a late brunch and went nuts ordering the crab cake, the pasta of the day (mac & cheese with steak), a salmon omelet and the quiche. All of it was delicious!
Service was excellent as well.
The food was absolutely delicious! I have never had such a thick and perfect pork chop. The mashed potatoes were to die for! The Sangria margarita was fantastic. Our server, Semion, was a gem. We never waited for anything. The appetizers were unbelievable. We had stuffed mushrooms and blackened scallops. Yummy!!!
We were very disappointed with Rococo's this past weekend. My wife and I went w/ our friends. There were two very intoxicated women at the bar (one worked there apparently) that were quite annoying. My meal was good, but my wife and my friend both got sick after eating. I probably won't go back for awhile if at all...
