Seafood
Perfect For:
  • Good for a Date
  • Special Occasion
  • Romantic
East Coast style fresh seafood, killer pasta and a huge variety of traditional favorites from the New England area. Simple, with a focus on fresh seafood. Rococo is known for the freshness of their seafood, including overnight deliveries of specialties like steamer clams and non-farm raised salmon. But of course, Rococo is best known for having the best darn Crab Cake around, a lightly baked collection of Maryland Lump crab and secret ingredients. No frozen then fried hockey puck here.

The Clam Chowder (say “Chowda” when ordering) is always a crowd pleaser along with exotic dishes such as Hawaiian Poke, Escargot and Rococo Cookies which are savory (not sweet) bites of various flavors.

There’s a lot of chophouse fare are Rococo as well. Steaks, Pork and Duck are always on the menu. Because Rococo is chef-driven, the menu changes seasonally and multiple daily features are the norm. Rococo also has Vegan and Gluten-Free options.

Server efficient and understanding when you consider we were a group of 10 and some patrons had special requests. The seafood dishes are particularly well prepared. Looking forward to trying supper and some challenging seafood dishes. First time at this location, the Northpark location is fancier but their servers are sometimes snooty

Took my wife out on our weekly date that I am home from business trips. I was wanting a nice quiet spot and came across this restaurant on open table. I was looking for a seafood restaurant and this place is outstanding. I read about them on open table and seen they had fresh oysters and a dish they call fisherman’s stew. After seeing this and having no idea what was in the stew I made reservations. My wife and I started off with drinks and the oysters, which were fantastic each had a salad and then the stew. The best seafood dish my wife and I ever had. When ordering Alex our waiter explained what’s in the dish and how it was prepared and made it that much more intriguing. This place is our go to place for this dish alone. We use to drive down to Fort Worth for a similar dish but no more now that we found this gem. Alex our waiter was attentive and spot on recommending the perfect wine for our dinner. Nice quiet spot and had a booth right by the salt water fish tank which we enjoyed.

I'm not sure why I made a reservation, when my whole party of 6 still had to wait 35 minutes to be seated (after everyone else who was waiting). My 1:15pm reservation ended up with us leaving there over 2 hours later (slow service included).

Had Easter brunch with the family (we were an 8-top). I live right down the street from Rococo Penn (their flagship restaurant), so having this gem of a restaurant so close is wonderful to say the least. The restaurant was packed for Easter, but it made the dining experience all the more exciting. Once again, the food was spectacular and our waiter was superb. It made for an easy 5-Star. We all positively loved it!

That was my first time to eat there. The food was FANTASTIC, the service exemplary and the cost unexposed low. Plan on making it a regular eating spot.

We arrived for our anniversary dinner a few minutes early and were quickly seated. Cocktails were tasty. We ordered two crab cakes as I was told it is their "claim to fame". While quite delicious and slightly oversized, at over $30, it was still an appetizer that was priced like an entree. Salads were nice size. I had the "love salad", very tasty and the wife had the Caesar (which she loved with the fresh anchovy) . The wife had one of the evenings specials, salmon topped with a scallop. Which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a New York strip that was delicious. My only criticism about the food is minor...my sides (fingerling potatoes and asparagus) were piping hot and my steak was warm/cool. The timing was clearly off a bit. As for the service, it seemed like she may be new as she was a little uncertain and mispronounced some of the specials...nonetheless, very pleasant. The place seemed a bit quiet for a Saturday night and at times the staff didn't seem aware or attentive. I observed a couple come in and wait at an unattended host station for approximately 5 minutes before anyone appeared and I saw a diner walk to the entrance to the kitchen and wait for someone to come out to request something. We enjoy dining out and I love finding places that are not the chain-style atmosphere. This place has a lot going for it and we will give it another try, however, if I'm going to pay luxury fine dining prices ($230 for 2 people/2 drinks each) I want a near perfect luxury fine dining experience.

This must have been an off-night because my previous experiences here had been amazing. The service was incredibly slow and the food was cold when it arrived. It is worth noting that it took over an hour for the food to arrive and it was a very light crowd so they were not busy by any means. The server was very polite but poorly trained - I assume she was new - she did her best. As I said, I assume this was an off-night and not the norm at Rococo but very disappointing given the cost nonetheless.

This was our first time there . The crab cakes were excellent but over priced. The rest of the meal was nominal. I had the duck which was nicely cooked but too salty. My husband had the baked cod which was good but nothing special. Overall ok, but not worth going back for.

Excellent! Since the last time we ate there (almost a year ago) we have begun eating a vegan diet. Bruce, owner and chef, accommodated us by preparing a special meal not found on the menu and it was delicious. He is very talented and cares about the clientele usually delivering the meals to the tables himself!

We arrived 10 min prior to our reservation. Seated quickly at a booth by the door which was freezing every time someone opened the door. Felt like they didnt know where to seat us. Took waitress 20 min before she took just our drink order. She was nice and good after that. Appetizer was good. Entrees were overpriced for shrimp, lobster rissoto. Only 3 shrimp for a $30 plate and rice? Lobster tasted like rubber and actually looked like some of it was missing. Rice was bland. I am willing to pay for quality food when it tastes excellent, but this was overpriced, expected more. Atmosphere seemed pleasant, wished for a better experience. Next day I got scolded by Open Table for not arriving for my reservation at Rococo. But we were there, not sure where the lack of communication happened. First time this has ever occurred. Just added a bad taste to an already not so good experience.

Had an excellent experience, as we usually do! We had the Rhode Island Calamari, The Lamb Chops, The Duck, Mushroom Risotto, Creme Brûlée and shared a bottle of wine. Everything was spot on delicious. We even bought a bottle of the Love Salad Dressing to take home. You can’t beat their Love Salad! The service was excellent as well! We always enjoy coming here and recommend it!

The house made gnocchi and the desserts were fabulous, the other food was okay. Our table ner the kitchen was so bitterly cold that we had to eat with gloves and scarves on... Diners elsewhere in the dining room didn't seem to have this problem and I was surprised they didn't move us. Service was good.

The food was perfectly prepared when ordered using fresh, quality I ngredients. We ordered several offerings: crab cake, cookie sampler, ribeye, mushroom soup, and a few glasses of wine. All of the food was perfect as it is prepared by Okc’s “best chef”. The service was quick and friendly. The environment was comfortable and relaxing. We were able to have a nice conversation as the noise level was on the lower side. For the quality of food the value is remarkable. We will definitely be returning.
