Came for our anniversary. Amazing service and great food! Lobster and shrimp risotto is amazing!!!!
We arrived for our anniversary dinner a few minutes early and were quickly seated. Cocktails were tasty. We ordered two crab cakes as I was told it is their "claim to fame". While quite delicious and slightly oversized, at over $30, it was still an appetizer that was priced like an entree. Salads were nice size. I had the "love salad", very tasty and the wife had the Caesar (which she loved with the fresh anchovy) . The wife had one of the evenings specials, salmon topped with a scallop. Which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a New York strip that was delicious. My only criticism about the food is minor...my sides (fingerling potatoes and asparagus) were piping hot and my steak was warm/cool. The timing was clearly off a bit. As for the service, it seemed like she may be new as she was a little uncertain and mispronounced some of the specials...nonetheless, very pleasant. The place seemed a bit quiet for a Saturday night and at times the staff didn't seem aware or attentive. I observed a couple come in and wait at an unattended host station for approximately 5 minutes before anyone appeared and I saw a diner walk to the entrance to the kitchen and wait for someone to come out to request something. We enjoy dining out and I love finding places that are not the chain-style atmosphere. This place has a lot going for it and we will give it another try, however, if I'm going to pay luxury fine dining prices ($230 for 2 people/2 drinks each) I want a near perfect luxury fine dining experience.
This must have been an off-night because my previous experiences here had been amazing. The service was incredibly slow and the food was cold when it arrived. It is worth noting that it took over an hour for the food to arrive and it was a very light crowd so they were not busy by any means. The server was very polite but poorly trained - I assume she was new - she did her best. As I said, I assume this was an off-night and not the norm at Rococo but very disappointing given the cost nonetheless.
The food at Rococo is always very good. The ambience is great
This was our first time there . The crab cakes were excellent but over priced. The rest of the meal was nominal. I had the duck which was nicely cooked but too salty. My husband had the baked cod which was good but nothing special. Overall ok, but not worth going back for.
We met with friends for dinner. Our server was prompt, and friendly.
Would like to have Sole back on the mail
Amazing as always
It was a wonderful experience the staff were so nice and helpful and the food was element
Great!!! This is my go to restaurant when I am in OKC!
Excellent! Since the last time we ate there (almost a year ago) we have begun eating a vegan diet. Bruce, owner and chef, accommodated us by preparing a special meal not found on the menu and it was delicious. He is very talented and cares about the clientele usually delivering the meals to the tables himself!
Great menu and service. Drinks are right on target.
The staff was great. It was awesome to see the owner so involved by serving food and engaging with customers! Definitely one of my favorite places. ~LoriJ
Bruce and company were excellent hosts and the seafood was the best we’ve had! Kudos to Rococo on such a gem of a restaurant in the middle of OKC
We arrived 10 min prior to our reservation. Seated quickly at a booth by the door which was freezing every time someone opened the door. Felt like they didnt know where to seat us. Took waitress 20 min before she took just our drink order. She was nice and good after that. Appetizer was good. Entrees were overpriced for shrimp, lobster rissoto. Only 3 shrimp for a $30 plate and rice? Lobster tasted like rubber and actually looked like some of it was missing. Rice was bland. I am willing to pay for quality food when it tastes excellent, but this was overpriced, expected more. Atmosphere seemed pleasant, wished for a better experience. Next day I got scolded by Open Table for not arriving for my reservation at Rococo. But we were there, not sure where the lack of communication happened. First time this has ever occurred. Just added a bad taste to an already not so good experience.
The scallop mushroom risotto was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I don't even know how to get scallops to do that. Cocktails were very good too.
Food was good. Lunch menu was light. Staff seemed distracted. Will try again.
Great food , service and atmosphere
Awesome experience as always! Great to see you Bruce. Hard to believe your 11 year old still has the bear Mindy and I have to him when he was born!
Food and menu variety was very good. We will definitely eat here again.
Absolutely outstanding dinner - again. I am so lucky that we live less than 5 minutes away from this exceptional restaurant. Loved it!
Had an excellent experience, as we usually do! We had the Rhode Island Calamari, The Lamb Chops, The Duck, Mushroom Risotto, Creme Brûlée and shared a bottle of wine. Everything was spot on delicious. We even bought a bottle of the Love Salad Dressing to take home. You can’t beat their Love Salad! The service was excellent as well! We always enjoy coming here and recommend it!
Went there for our traditional New Year’s Eve dinner. Loved it!
The house made gnocchi and the desserts were fabulous, the other food was okay. Our table ner the kitchen was so bitterly cold that we had to eat with gloves and scarves on... Diners elsewhere in the dining room didn't seem to have this problem and I was surprised they didn't move us. Service was good.
Wonderful place for a get together. Food is scrumptious, service is excellent and atmosphere is comfortable. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. The Baked Cod is amazing! I woukd upload photos but we all loved the dishes we had so much, it was gone before we knew it! Thank you Rococo for a fabulous night with a new friend. He loved it, too. 😉
It was wonderful
Not so great. Risotto was like paste, clam chowder could have come from a can. Disappointing
The food was perfectly prepared when ordered using fresh, quality I ngredients. We ordered several offerings: crab cake, cookie sampler, ribeye, mushroom soup, and a few glasses of wine. All of the food was perfect as it is prepared by Okc’s “best chef”. The service was quick and friendly. The environment was comfortable and relaxing. We were able to have a nice conversation as the noise level was on the lower side. For the quality of food the value is remarkable. We will definitely be returning.
We love this restaurant, and Alex is our favorite waiter in OKC!
Traveling thru OKC.
Been here b/4
Always try to stop when we come thru.
A tasteful find for us.
Still a favorite place. Never a meal that is not amazing. Thanks Bruce and staff!
Love this place! Excellent food, excellent service.
Excellent. The food and service was top notch. This is the best crab cake that you will ever have....
Excellent food and service as always. My favorite restaurant in OKC.
Good but not great food. Salads quite large and tasty. Entrees had good ingredients but did not showcase the flavors as well as possible leaving palates a bit muddled.
Great atmosphere at the bar. Had a couple of drinks before going to the table. The meal was prepared to perfection, wild Salmon and veal scallapini. The burgundy wine went well with both dishes. Will definitely be back soon.
This is absolutely a hidden gem in the city!! We went for brunch with the family and it was phenomenal! The menu is creative yet has something for everyone and not one thing was bad. The waiter was fun and energetic and really livened up our experience since there weren't many people there. The chef even came out to talk to us about the food and wanted us to try his homemade cheesecake just because - hands down the best cheesecake ever and half the table doesn't even like cheesecake! This place has a great ambiance whether you want a delicious romantic dinner that is affordable or a fun experience with family and friends for any meal- though you have to get the crab cakes which are to die for!!
Food was not worth the price. I could barely eat my pasta it was that bad. The chef came out and asked how one of our dishes was. He said he made it the day before and was worried how it would be today. So many places I'd rather go for a "nice" dinner. Do not recommend!
We were very disappointed with our service as well as the music being played in the background. It certainly did not fit the atmosphere for a high-end restaurant.
