Rococo on Penn
The Clam Chowder (say “Chowda” when ordering) is always a crowd pleaser along with exotic dishes such as Hawaiian Poke, Escargot and Rococo Cookies which are savory (not sweet) bites of various flavors.
There’s a lot of chophouse fare are Rococo as well. Steaks, Pork and Duck are always on the menu. Because Rococo is chef-driven, the menu changes seasonally and multiple daily features are the norm. Rococo also has Vegan and Gluten-Free options.
Best Italian food in OKC, by far! Everything from the appetizers to the main course was fantastic!
It was fantastic. I like getting out for brunch once in awhile. I have been here before for brunch,and as always it was lovely. I just wish they would make a salsa (the pico was good, not the same) everything was beautiful and perfect though. Will definitely come again. Our server was fantastic and informative. Overall pretty good!
One of the best dinner spots in the mid-west! The passion of the head chef and staff is exuded in the quality and experience.

I had the chicken Parmesan and it was good. My only complaint was the smell of smoke when were arrived. We were seated in the bar area and that was the reason. They had a time limit on the tables, but I don't know if this is something they do just for Valentines Day wknd or all the time.
The crab cake is all it’s made out to be. Duck I wouldn’t order again but it was fine. Risotto was good not incredible. Go somewhere else for desert, chocolate cake thing was trash. It’s quiet, romantic, and service was great.

Made dinner reservations for 9:45 on Valentine’s Day and instead of them giving me a call to notify me that they ran out of food, they let me drive my girlfriend we no longer had due to running out of food
Food was great however it took us 2 hrs to get our food. We were seated 15 minutes later than our reservation time. The couple next to us received their meal at no charge in a carry out bag due to the length of time they had waited for their food.
It took almost 2 hours to get our food. It was busy, but we did not leave until 10:00.
Our waitress did not help with the situation, making jokes about the wait.
We ordered steaks, and they were just not good. No seasoning, and not cooked to the correct temperature requested.
The ambiance and wine is great, but everything else was not.
I highly doubt I come back.
Best part of dinner was the salad. My wife’s filet was bland. First bite of the crab cake was breading. Osso Bucco was flavorful on the outside. Mushrooms and Sweet Onions were very good.
I expect a restaurant to be slow on Valentine's Day. I also expect the wait staff to be busy. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of our experience at Rococo. The waiter was rarely seen, and when he did emerge from the kitchen, he did, at most, one thing - maybe take an order, or fill some glasses, before he quickly retreated back to the kitchen. We saw other tables filled after we arrived, but served sooner. Our waiter never offered additional drinks after we finished our initial cocktails. He never checked back up on us. In fact, I had to flag him down just to get the ticket at the end of the night.
All of this would have been forgivable if the food had been fantastic. It wasn't. I had the grilled yellowfin tuna, and although it looked beautiful, it was terribly overcooked. The inside was dry and the fish was almost flavorless. The saffron rice was very nice, and thankfully provided the moisture that was robbed from the fish. Had our waiter been more diligent at our table, especially in filling our glasses, I might have not had as much time to ruminate on the poor quality and high prices of the food.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and intimate. With good service and properly cooked food, it would be a frequent date spot. Unfortunately, we were there for two hours, were only offered cocktails after we'd been there 15 minutes, and still hadn't seen a dessert menu. Not wanting to waste the remainder of our night waiting for dessert, we flagged down the waiter to get our check and make a quick escape.
I don't see us coming back. Sorry guys, you had your shot. If I'm going to spend over $100 on a date meal, I'll go to Vast.
Nice quiet restaurant with a good atmosphere. The service was good and we were able to sit and enjoy a meal without being hovered over. The fish and chips were great. Grilled salmon with as small for the price and the Parmesan was fine.
Appetizers were wonderful. Entrees were bad. I ordered a medium steak and got a medium well steak that was lukewarm. Wife ordered scallops and pasta and the pasta was overcooked. Not worth the$200 bill.
Dinner was good, the service friendly, and our reservations were promptly acknowledged. We were seated in short order. The restaurant is a little dated, which is either charming or off-putting depending on whether you think that era of styling is your cup of tea. Dinner was a bit slow to arrive, which was either surprising (because I ordered from the day’s specials) or not surprising (because it was Valentines Day). We had a glass of house Malbec, which was quite tasty. It was a busy night, but the patrons were respectful and the noise level remained fairly low. I felt the price of dinner was commensurate with the quality of food. The only thing that left us disappointed was the quality of the bread. For the quality and presentation of our meals, the bread struck both of us as chintzy. That said, we would definitely go to Rococo on Penn again.

We went for Valentine's Day, it was our first time here; they seemed a little overwhelmed from a service standpoint; it appeared managers were helping to clear tables and bring out food. A wait staff person took our water bottle and never brought it back. Food (once it arrived)was very good except for my wife's broccolini being cold, crab cake and mushroom risotto were excellent. Probably best for a quiet occasion like an anniversary, wouldn't recommend it on days when likely to be busier.
We had a 4:30 V Day reservation. We didn't want to fight the crowds so we went early. Steak was as amazing! Crab cake was good! Shrimp scampi was good but the shrimp had the peel on it. Why butterfly the shrimp and steam it if it you don't peel it? Linguine & marina sauce that came with the shrimp was cold. Service was incredible slow. Disappointing.
I had the duck. I’ve had it many times, usually delicious. The skin on the pan seared breast was undercooked and rubbery. The confit leg was so over-cooked that it literally crumbled under my fork. The lobster bisque tasted like gumbo and the lobster pieces were noticeably undercooked. My husband hated the $22 crab cake appetizer...it tasted of nutmeg. I can’t imagine that it actually contained nutmeg, but every bite smelled like pie. My husband loved the filet, the mashed potatoes were delicious. The cheesecake dessert special was an obvious no-bake recipe, but it was tasty nevertheless. I hope it was an off night...a 4:30 reso on Valentines Day should have meant getting the A team...and before the rush hits even...but maybe. I’d recommend trying it out, but with s warning. The food is too expensive to be this inconsistent. I used to adore this place...

The only thing positive was the bartender. I feel a little bad for her. Eating there was like going to Ramsay's kitchen nightmares before he flips them. So if you must go there sit at the bar. Recommend going to metro or vast instead. Food quality abysmal....especially for price. Our waiter was MIA, pajama pant guy in kitchen was yelling and sarcastic. Yes we could hear him from our seats and saw pajama pant guy. The food...horrible. fish overcooked. They forgot our drink orders, soup, and the entree was did not have saffron like menu had written. My husband asked about why there was no saffron MIA waiter said that it's not on menu that way. My husband said yes it was that's why I ordered it. He said oh they must have substituted it with regular rice then. It is hard to list everything wrong with the place, but it isn't fine dining nor is it worth their prices. we will never go back. found out later the that pjs guy was the chef. Why can he come to work in his pjs?

We love this place so much! Had a lovely evening feasting on a variety of appetizers and delicious wine. Best place in town to sit at the bar and have a leisurely visit with friends.

Celebrating a birthday. Food was outstanding as always! Service was excellent! Great company, even ran into old friends that are regulars. Really enjoyed our evening! One of our favorite places. Recommend for a regular evening dinner, weekend brunch or a special occasion!
New Year’s Eve. One of our favorites but understandably the hostess and bar servers were noticeably frazzled. However our waiter Alexander was amazing as was the food.
We had had a dinner for two on NYE. Despite being quite busy, Rococo's was still a wonderful, intimate environment. Service was quick. professional, and friendly. The food was excellent.
It was very noisy because they were busy but that's to be expected on New Year's Eve. We had 3 items off of their New Year's Eve special menu. The steak on the Surf N Turf was outstanding but the Sea Bass was average. The soup was very bland and disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience but we were hoping for great.
So we hadn't been to Rococo in a long time and decided to give it another try. It was good, but I feel like a bit overpriced compared to other similar experiences in the area? My Chilean Sea Bass entrée was $52 and it was good but I sure can't say outstanding. Husband had the Sea Scallops and they only came with a scoop of rice nothing green and it was $36 and again good, but probably won't be rushing back anytime soon.
Rococo on Penn is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. The food is the best in town--great variety, well-prepared, and always absolutely delicious. This time we went to celebrate our anniversary. I had the crab cake and a house salad, both excellent, and my husband has the cod, which was perfectly cooked. Their risottos are also outstanding, but very rich. For dessert we had a pudding cake, which was scrumptious! Wait staff is not overbearing but there when you need them. Most important for us, the restaurant is quiet--we don't have to shout over blaring music or other diners. I cannot say enough good things about this place and highly recommend it.

Anniversary celebration dinner. The Crab Cake was delicious & so was the Ribeye Steak. The mushrooms were so so. The Lemon Picatta was yucky. We had to ask for bread and wait for it to be cooked. We put Wedding Anniversary in our reservation comments and it was not mentioned. Disappointed in the whole experience.
Wonderful menu and food was incredible. Coffee was very good and service was attentive.
Rococo is a hidden gem in the Oklahoma City area. Bruce and his crew turn out some of the best seafood dishes in the entire state. The ambiance and service are outstanding.
