   The food was very good. My wife tried elk and it was terrific. My filet was perfectly prepared. Rachel, our server, was very attentive and gave excellent service. The Arts and Crafts design of the restaurant lent a very warm feeling to the room.

   We ate dinner at Rockwell’s and it was the best steak dinner my husband and I have ever had! Kimberly was our server and she made the entire experience memorable and was fantastic. Everyone should go there!

   Wonderful restaurant, excellent service, outstanding food. I had the venison and my husband the filet which were perfectly prepared and delicious, accompanied by sweet potato wedges which were excellent as well. We split the apple cranberry crisp - so good. Highly recommend this restaurant!

   Stayed at Nemacolin this past week for our anniversary and decided on Rockwell's over Aqueous. Service was fantastic. Very attentive and quick to offer help. It was a Monday night, but we made reservations anyway. There were maybe 10-12 other people in the restaurant and a couple at the bar. I had one of their Cabin Fever Old Fashioned which was excellent (what's not to love about bacon bourbon and chocolate bitters?) and my wife got the basic Tito's and Cranberry. Ordered the Oysters Rockwell for a starter. They came out quickly and were very good. Biggest issue for the food was the main dishes. Neither of us are big eaters so we decided to split the wet-aged ribeye and a lobster tail with a side of boursin whipped potatoes. Well, when the potatoes are the star of the meal, there's an issue. I actually had to use a little salt which I can't recall ever doing at the table. Steak was served with an excellent béarnaise sauce, but was otherwise bland and tough (for medium rare??). The lobster was nice-sized (8oz), but a bit rubbery. Again, though, the service was on point. Without asking our server had split the ribeye and the lobster and presented it on a plate for each of us. Which is a great touch, even if my wife ate 90% of the lobster and I ate most of the steak. Great ambience, very romantic, and, again, quiet as it wasn't busy. For the money and food, I do better at Monterey Bay in Pittsburgh or even Ruth's However, just walking thru the Chateau, though, to the restaurant you realize it was going to be a special night. The chandeliers and artwork are simply amazing. Just wish the mains were better. Going back in the fall to hit up Lautrec and/or Aqueous.

    A $54 ribeye supposedly hand selected by the chef and prepared in state of the art grille with more than 30% fat. Not a very pleasant experience.
