Unlike fusion cuisine, each dish on RockSugar Southeast Asian Kitchen’s extensive menu is authentic to its country of origin. From the mouth-watering Indian Samosas to the savory Vietnamese Shaking Beef, the entire menu will transport you to a spice-filled, welcoming corner of the globe. No visit to RockSugar Southeast Asian Kitchen is complete without trying one of the signature desserts prepared in our in-house bakery including our Caramelized Banana Custard Cake and Warm Coconut Doughnuts. Taking our name from an essential ingredient used in Asian cooking, RockSugar Southeast Asian Kitchen was created by restaurateur David Overton and Singapore-raised, New York-trained chef Mohan Ismail.

Century City Mall is much more inviting and easy to get to and from parking lot once you know where you are... Greeter a bit aloof - server very professional and very accommodating for gluten free options and wonderful service by all staff throughout meal- food (pad thai and curry) came out quickly- hot and plentiful for sharing! Looking forward to going back again and again to try more choices.

We went during restaurant week, and it was an excellent deal. There were plenty of selctions to choose from on the menu. The food was delicious. The service was excellent.

Allen was a fantastic server. We were completely taken care of, from my vegetarian friend to the birthday girl. I can't believe I've never been here. The dishes were delicious, the decor GORGEOUS, the seating uber comfortable. When it's warm enough I'd love to do happy hour at the tables with fire pits in front. I would come here again and again with a small group or a really big one. The employees are consummate professionals and you can relax and have fun.

Made reservations via Open Table for our group. Decor is neat and different and We were excited to give it a try. When we arrived it took a while for them to seat us. It was a cold windy evening and they brought the eight of us to an outside table in a wind tunnel. There was no protection on this side of their patio and th wind whipped right through. We walked by two other large unoccupied tables in a protected section. We informed the hostess that we needed a different option and suggested the two tables we passed. She went back to get a manager, hitch took a while, who informed us that it would be a long wait for a different table. We suggested the open tables and by the time she made her decision to seat us there, other parties had already been seated there. They created a table for us in the protected patio area. While we ate, another group was brought to our original table and refused to sit there as well. Server was pleasant and accommodating. Food was good but nothing spectacular. We ordered both the chicken and veggie samosas which were probably my favorite, lettuce Wraps, Brussels sprouts, shaking beef, flat rice noodles, carmel chicken and a shrimp dish. Perhaps the start has colored my overall opinion but I won’t be back.
