   My favourite restaurant did not disappoint,another lovely evening,great service ,beautiful food and great location looking out at the tide coming into the harbour. We shared the canoed sea bass….with the compulsory ( for me!) thick chips ….melt in the mouth perfectly cooked fish with very tasty sauce followed by the special lemon meringue pie for my husband and red fruit mousse for me.I am not really a sweet person as find lots too sweet!but the red fruit mousse was not overly sweet and I could have licked the plate clean.😊

   I love this stylish venue, situated literally at the edge of the sea. I always request a window table, the better to watch the rise or fall of the tide as I eat (although the clever placement of mirrors around the room allow 'inside' diners to enjoy the view as well.) The staff are unfailingly charming, from the friendly hello to last goodbye. And the food is always interesting and delicious. It's particularly good if you enjoy fish and sea food of course, but there are enough alternative dishes to keep most people happy. There's an extensive wine list, with offerings to suit every budget and taste.

   Excellent. Lovely, comfortable venue with a great view. Drinks and food were of a high standard. The service was exemplary - professional and friendly.

   Rocksalt was an absolutely lovely setting overlooking the harbour. Relaxed but a busy atmosphere as well. Food was superb and the right sized portions. Staff were super, friendly and helpful. 100% recommended.

   Popped into Rocksalt for a girls lunch. We arrived at 1.45 for a 2.15 reservation. We were sorted promptly and ordered in a timely fashion. Our lime and sodas were lime and lemonade, we forgave that. We all ordered from the set menu which was good value. The food was very nice, but the service was extremely slow. But I still love Rocksalt

   Went to the wine bar on the first floor which was very nice, staff were very friendly and helpful and the drink prices were reasonable. In the restaurant, the service from the staff was great. Food was of a very good standard. The reason I dropped a star is we had a sharing plate for main course which was the beer battered Folkestone cod loin for two @ £50.00. The food was lovely however, although the batter was wonderful there was too much of it and not enough cod for two people. At £50 also seemed a little overpriced.

   First time we went, it was to celebrate a anniversary. About 3 weeks ago. I won't go into detail, but it was bad. The scallop starter arrived and i've add larger peas on my plate. Then we waited and we waited and we waited for our mains 😟 over an hour and when asked, they said, oh, it's just coming, but it was too late, had to go. But then they invited us back so they could make up for us so we did. On a beautiful Thursday's lunch time we turned up for 1.30 booking. We got our drinks and sat down and ordered our lunch. This time we didn't even get our starters. Over 1 hour just to be told was so sorry, but the order hadn't been in.! I can't say anymore. Well I came go somewhere else. 🤔🙄😤😡 We won't forget this anniversary. 🙄
