   Popped into Rocksalt for a girls lunch. We arrived at 1.45 for a 2.15 reservation. We were sorted promptly and ordered in a timely fashion. Our lime and sodas were lime and lemonade, we forgave that. We all ordered from the set menu which was good value. The food was very nice, but the service was extremely slow. But I still love Rocksalt

   First time we went, it was to celebrate a anniversary. About 3 weeks ago. I won't go into detail, but it was bad. The scallop starter arrived and i've add larger peas on my plate. Then we waited and we waited and we waited for our mains 😟 over an hour and when asked, they said, oh, it's just coming, but it was too late, had to go. But then they invited us back so they could make up for us so we did. On a beautiful Thursday's lunch time we turned up for 1.30 booking. We got our drinks and sat down and ordered our lunch. This time we didn't even get our starters. Over 1 hour just to be told was so sorry, but the order hadn't been in.! I can't say anymore. Well I came go somewhere else. 🤔🙄😤😡 We won't forget this anniversary. 🙄

   Friends joined us from Worthing and could not fault the experience. Service was 1st class food excellent all enjoyed in a wonderful location overlooking the harbour.

   This was a set menu at an event held by Rocksalt. It was well attended (may be a little cramped) but the overall the day wand the event went well.

    Lovely ambience and fish. Exceptional views, However, vegetarian options for my partner were very limited. The only main was priced at a ridiculous £23 for a cauliflower and sweet potato pasty - which was bland and unremarkable. For comparison, my monkfish main for £27 and many of the fish mains we £19-20
