   With the recent change in menu and price increase, we spent nearly $500 for four people! With this in mind, I would have an expectation of a higher standard of food and presentation. Unfortunately, whilst most elements on the plate were good, there were some that were missing. Cracking, on the now revised pork belly to a sole pork chop and serving of pumpkin 3 ways was an everyday meal in my home…very disappointing. Placing under ripe strawberries that looked unwashed and still had the greenery attached for dessert was also unappealing. We note that when we made our booking we stated (as we were asked if it was a special occasion) that it was for a birthday. No acknowledgment of this or little cake was offered, as it had been in the past. Rocksalt sadly was not up to its usual standard. Service, however, was great. Our server was very attentive and professional. This is constructive feedback, as we have always supported Rocksalt for many years.

   Had a booking for 7:30pm. Had to wait in foyer for 30mins as they didn’t have a table for us. Ordered entree, main and dessert, they brought out our main and left it on the table while we were eating our entree. So we felt we were being rushed to eat and finish I ordered thyme chicken, I was unable to eat most of it as it was quite pink and under cooked. Value for money? I would not go again

   The food was great, our waiter served us our first round of drinks and we had to keep asking for her to come back to order more drinks, Rocks@lt missed out on making extra money from our drinks. We ordered one jug of cocktail which only gave us 2 cups which in general it is meant to be the "Cheaper" option. The waiter when serving us our empty glasses for the jug spilt the cup which lost all the ice on the table and didn't offer new ice or anything we as customers cleaned it up. There was only a group of 3 at a table behind us and we were there from 1130 and at 130 the waiter made sure to tell us she closes at 2pm which we then felt like we were getting kicked out. The guest all loved our food it was delicious as always, but we were very disappointed in our services from the waitress.

    The experience was good, the food (Pan fried scallops - yum! and spicy Prawn Fettuccini - superb! ) The bar staff even learned how to make decent Vodka Martini.
