About
Amped up to kick this wonderful year off with an exciting new renovation that starts today! Can’t wait to show you all the new looks in the months to come. If you need anything in meantime at our sister locations Sunda (opening soon in Nashville as well!) or The Underground, just let us know!
Very slow service. Sweet potato fries and parmesan fries were great.
Loved the environment and location just a tad bit too much salt on my burger tho
Love it! Would go there anytime I'm in Chicago. Great service and food.
Thank you so much for an amazing brunch!!
Service was a little slow, no biggie, but the food was absolutely delicious by far the best south west salad I’ve ever had.
Kitchen was unprepared to make salads or plates so food was limited to sandwiches or apps. Server never mentioned this when we were seated. We lost valuable time and then had to find waitress when we had selected new items. Restaurant was not busy. Staff was very casual, engaging in social media instead of customers.
Always a good experience, but hadn't been in a few years. The lighting for Sunday brunch is way too dark. Staff is sweet and drinks were delish, but lighting made us all extremely sleepy. Live music is a HUGE plus, because it's acoustic and soft, so no need to scream overtop of anyone!
Music was extremely loud
Didn’t eat, just got a giant skull drink. The place is average. I will say the music was 10x better than what I heard at Parlor.
Quality and taste of food was great. I sent my soup back as it was way too spicy. They didn't offer an alternative or a refund. That would have made the visit a bit better.
The vibe when you walk in is a bit dreary. But food and service were both great.
I would recommend it.
The Acoustic Brunch combined with the Bloody Mary bar is a great way to start your Saturday or Sunday!
Our server savannah was awesome!
The loaded tater tots were the best part of the meal and come recommended. Overall, extremely overpriced for what we received. $80 for two beers an app and two burgers, which came charred beyond our liking. The staff didn't really seem to care about our experience.
It was OK, but a very poor value overall. There are many places with better food at a lower price point and better drink selection in River North.
Really too bad, this used to be a great place for Brunch, not so much when we where there. got there right at 10:30am, took over an hour to get our food, and it was not the quality we were used to get at Rockit.... doubt we will go back in the future.
Food was awesome and so was the service!
Best burger in river north! Good food all around. Great for games or casual dining.
Great spot to watch games
Great food and service. However the noise levels was a bit much. Could barely hold a conversation withy daughter ( we were on the lower level.)
Love the new open look, place was electric and food is unbelievably better!
I went for lunch during the week. The place was dead. There were three in our party, one had the kale Caesar salad and said it was excellent. I had a Reuben, which was just OK, I’ll little dry. My other friend had a gluten intolerance and ordered the lettuce burger, but what came was a regular burger on a bun. We asked him to send it back, but he didn’t want to make a big deal of it. He just took the bottle off. But I was a little surprised, since we had a long discussion with the server about gluten intolerance before we ordered.
Had a 5:45 reservation and got turned away by the bouncer at the door saying they were closed for private events. I should have just left after that. I called, got escorted in and it was like I was eating dinner in a club. Thank god the food an actual service was good, but yeah not coming back after that one.
We had a horrible experience for our team's celebratory lunch. We were celebrating a milestone on the team and we were the only table there. Not only did the food take FOREVER, the time difference between when the first dish was brought and the last dish was about 20 minutes. Unacceptable for lunch, especially when the dishes we were waiting on longest were salads. We will not be back any time soon which is too bad because Rockit used to be a go-to for lunches in my group.
We were having a great time enjoying the DJ until they stopped the music and put on the Michigan game.
The new renovated Rockit is great! The new menu was delicious and the service was perfect too.
Highly recommended!
Very loud. Food just average, way too expensive for the quality and the tight menu. We used to be regulars, when the food was way better. Service is very slow even it was not busy plus we got overcharged. Very unpleasant experience.
We dined on a Sunday evening. We chose this restaurant because of the many features of your venue, such as pool tables and shuttle boards. When we arrived, we were told the upstairs is closed on Sundays because you basically cater to your local supporters, and they don't come out on Sundays.
This was very disappointing for us out of town visitors, and left a bad impression that we are not very important to your business.
We used to LOVE RockIt. It was our favorite brunch spot. However, in the last year or so, it's lost it's appeal. The service is still great. However, the things we used to go there for are now lacking. We used to love the acoustic singer who was there every weekend. The last few times we were there he wasn't there. The biggest change though is the bloody mary bar. It used to be huge and now it's really just average.
Rockit isn't a terrible place to go - the food is still good, the service is great and the bloody mary is okay but it's just time for us to try a new place and find a new "regular" that's outstanding.
Pretty good food but slow service despite the place being nearly empty.
Amazing food. Best truffle fries, rock corn shrimp, and buffalo wings with jalapeño ranch dip was some of the best food we've had in Chicago. Amazing bloody Mary's too.
Really enjoyable Sunday brunch spot. We arrived early so crowd wasn’t an issue. Great acoustic guitar artist. We had a variety of different orders and all were delicious. Only suggestion would be to turn the heat on a little earlier on cold winter days, first 30 minutes was a little chilly.
Great experience. Service was on point. Menu is awesome and has tons of great options. Good on vibe, good on price and worth your time if you’re in the area looking for a good hang.

We enjoyed our meal a lot (the salmon and fried chicken were excellent). Went during Happy Hour and appreciated the nice discount on drinks. There was a glitch in the kitchen regarding one of our entrees, and our server Michelle was exceptionally gracious about handling that.
Very fun atmosphere
I took friends here who were visiting. I had been here before and had a great experience so made reservation. When we sat we were never greeted. Never saw an employee for about 15 minutes. It wasn’t busy so we moved to the bar to order drinks and appetizers. The bartender was okay. She got us drinks and took our order. When our food came it was cold. Bartender never checked back with us to see how we were doing. Really dissappointed in this experience and sorry I brought my friends from out of town there.
Food is always great. Comfortable setting. One of my favorite places!
Restauramt has sognificantly declned since its reopening.
We enjoy the Sunday brunch and have dined at the Rockit many times over the years. Sunday was a "hit or miss" experience for the very first time. We arrived just as the restaurant opened and had reservations. The portions are always huge. The fries were amazing. A couple people in our large party had orders messed up. One had an undercooked burger. Another got the wrong burger, it had to be sent back and then came back overcooked. The waitress was average at best. The busboys, however, were awesome! They were very, very attentive. The waitress just didn't stop by enough.
We were very surprised as we enjoy the Rockit on the weekends for brunch. However, we had a disappointing experience yesterday for the first time.
Had brunch here Saturday. Three Floyd's IPA and Flaming Hot Cheetos tamales! Life is good!
Our server, Michelle, was fantastic. Delicious turkey burger & sweet potato fries. Wish they were still on Wrigleyville as I’d be here more often!
Delicious food, great cocktails, awesome beer list! A nice spot for a casual meal with friends! Great music playing too.
