Great outside patio , good vegetarian options.
Easily one of the finest meals my wife and I have had in Greenville. The food was impeccable in every way. The service was friendly and professional. What’s more, the executive chef paid us a personal visit! Get thee to Rocket Surgery!
The food and service was excellent! Would definitely go there again! Highly recommend.
Awesome service and spectacular food. The staff provides great personal attention with recommendations. I will return soon!
My Mom and I ate at Rocket Surgery this Friday, to celebrate an early Mother’s Day! I made a reservation for 7 and was seated right away. The ONLY semi-negative thing I have to say, is that word did not get to our waitress that we had been seated, and we waited about 10 min before anyone waited on us. After that initial wait, the evening was FANTASTIC! The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant! We asked for recommendations, and followed through on some; they were all wonderful. From the cocktails, to the brusselsprouts and on to the homemade pasta, every bite of dinner was delightful. We didn’t have room to try dessert THIS time, but, we will for sure next time.
After eating, we sat and chatted for an additional amount of time, just enjoying conversation, and we were never rushed or made to feel like we needed to leave, to free up the table.
It really was a lovely evening! We can’t wait to go back!
My cappellini was stuck together in a lumps so it must’ve been ready before the other dishes at our table and sat there waiting also I found the sauce excessively sweet. Rocket surgery has been my favorite Italian and I brought friends so this was a disappointing night I will come back again though.
I was the first time we'd dined there, also brought some friends along
We came on Wednesday this week and tried the Meatball hoagie special, the meatballs and sauce was cold
Service was very good
Maybe it was just an off night
The food and service were very good. Just a bit noisy for me but probably no issue for most folks.
Service was abysmal. We were ignored for the first 20 minutes we were there. Calamari was tough and gready. We won’t go back
Small, comfortable place. Excellent service. Great staff. Really enjoyed the food at a very reasonable price.
All of us loved our pasta entrees. However the calamari was way too salty and had to be returned. It is quite noisy so conversations had to be shouted at each other. Our waiter was very, very good. We will definitely return, if only for the delicious gluten-free pasta options.
Our second time going, and the food, service and environment was great both times.
We went for the meatball subs and they were amazing. Homemade ricotta under huge meatballs on a wonderful roll, made even better with homemade chips (I had the salad instead of chips!) all fo $5 on Wednesday nights!!!
Amazing menu with many gluten free choices and incredible desserts. This has turned into a regular restaurant for us immediately!
The place was nice, the food overall was good, and our sever was excellent. The reasons why not 5 stars down the line were: We had some roasted carrots which were over cooked, the bar and the restaurant were collocated which made it casual feel, but unfortunately we had some loud people at the bar while we were there which made our dining experience less than favorable.
Would definitely go back! Glad we went
Absolutely wonderful find.... home made fresh pasta relatively close to home... great food, friendly and attentive service, and good wine. Love that it is farm to table fresh...
Tasty house-made pasta with a very knowledgeable wait staff.
The food was great. But getting are drink took a while. We ordered appetizers and we got them before the drinks. We love the food and the environment. But the service need work.
The fun eclectic cocktail menu that I had grown accustomed to was shortened from the last time I visited. It really isn't special any more. It also took over 20 minutes to get our ciders and another 15 minutes for the cocktails others in the party ordered. The food was ok, but my pasta was undercooked.
I used to love this place. I will give it another try, but I won't recommend it to a friend until I am convinced that this evening was a fluke.
We were excited to try out a new restaurant for an anniversary celebration night, however, we were left feeling less than excited. The restaurant atmosphere was nice and the location is good. The red snapper that I ordered for an entree and the brussels that we ordered for an appetizer were delicious! However, the kale with both of our entrees was difficult to cut and chew. The marble potatoes were refrigerator cold - maybe they’re supposed to be - just not my preference. Our server made us feel somewhat rushed and brought our bill before we had even finished eating. We likely will not return.
The food was good, but was wondering where the sauce was ? I had the Gnocchi , and it got pretty dry after a few bites. Some sauce would have been great, the same with our friends spaghetti and my husbands dish. More sauce would go a long way.....
First of, A Big Thank You for my Birthday entree, I had sea bass, very good... Brussel sprouts, excellent and calamari, also good. My only complaint was food tasted a little salty to me, otherwise there would have been a five. I spoke with chef Dan, he listened and apologized, I told him no worries, maybe my taster was off a little, who knows, but I'm already looking forward to my next visit! The food is delicious! Thanks again!
Enjoyed the experience with the new menu. Still miss a few of the old items!
When our food came my husband received the wrong dish from what he ordered. He took the dish that was brought out because he thought it looked really good which it was. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The server did volunteer to bring the meal back and bring out the one that my husband had ordered, but all was okay. It is just a little pricey for us, but all around was an excellent experience.
Excellent food - fresh ingredients. The marinated olives appetizer was amazing!! Nice to have contact with the chef. Will be back!
Too much for average food. Brussel sprouts too greasy.
Although the beef was tender and the pasta had the right texture, the cheese and seasoning w were disappointing.
Long wait for service. Booked solid at peak time then it quickly subsided.
Wine pour was small.
Pasta Dish was good.
Decided to make the drive from Duncan for date night and I am so glad we did. The food was exceptional and service friendly. Well worth the process they are charging.
Food was top notch and reasonable and the service was excellent. My husband and I started with the meatball appetizer, which was very tasty and the cooked spinach was a nice touch. I had the agnolotti, which I was not familiar with but was delicious. My husband dined on rigatoni which was flavorful and tasty. A few more mushrooms would have been nice. For dessert we shared the profiteroles which were yummy. Restaurant is small and I'd highly recommend making a reservation.
They have changed over to Italian cuisine and it is now overly average. This is Just another soon to forget restaurant. I am sure it will change to another name and cuisine soon.
Comfortable casual atmosphere. Salad was outstanding. Papperadelle was delicious with house made ricotta. Capellini with mussels and crab was a bit salty for my taste—wouldn’t order that again. Would have liked a small basket of bread with dipping oil. Also would have a liked a fresh fork for my entree instead of keeping the one I used for my salad. Service was attentive and the chef even came out to explain the grilled salad to us since we had some questions.
My dish was very good but not all of the mussels in my husband's dish opened and therefore he couldn't eat them.
We ordered three appetizers, four entrees and a dessert and each was delicious. The menu is limited but provides ample choice and the items are freshly and properly prepared. This place is a gem.
Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Knowledgeable wait staff very accommodating to our big group. Pasta dishes were fresh and homemade . Would recommend to anyone who loves pastas
Service was awesome, and so was the food! It was our first time back since they launched an entirely new concept, and we were beyond pleased! The Italian food was so fresh and not overly rich and heavy. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back!
Food was outstanding! Brussels sprouts & calamari was delicious. Flounder & home made pasta was unreal! John, our waiter was personable & excited to bring our food to see our reaction. Not much atmosphere but food makes up for it! I also think a basket of bread with oil should be offered. Overall great restaurant!
We were so excited to try Rocket Surgery. Unfortunately, our meals were mediocre at best. Our red snapper was barely warm. We live downtown so decided to make the trek to Travelers Rest. There are a lot better options downtown. Our waiter was awesome and helpful. Just sad the food wasn’t better.
The fried calamari was soggy and greasy, the gnocchi was tasteless and the sauce on the rigatoni was sweet. Food was not representative of true Italian cooking.
