Had the Sunday roast, second visit here the first time was good but left very disappointed yesterday. Slow service, meal came before the drinks, had to ask 3 times for condiments, asked for extras that never arrived. Meat incredibly fatty, carrots undercooked. Yorkshire puddings and potatoes however were lovely. We were never offered more drinks or a desert menu and eventually had to holla someone over, once we ordered these we then had a member of staff come over and tell us we had to move tables as they needed it for another booking. Moved tables, 20 minutes went by and our drinks hadn’t arrived, asked a waitress to check on our drinks who disappeared then came back with an attitude that our drinks had only been ordered 2 minutes ago on the docket (meaning the previous waiter had only just put them through the till) rather than apologising for this she was defensive and rude as if it was our fault! We ended up cancelling the drinks and going somewhere else. Not what you expect when you’re spending almost $100pp, wouldn’t return to rocker unfortunately.

I've been to Rocker many times and have always enjoyed it, but would I book it again for my birthday? Probably not. I specifically chose the High Char/Bar area because I wanted a casual vibe where guests could order their own drinks at the bar, without a formal sit-down dinner. When I arrived, there was already a bar tab open, which I hadn’t requested. I asked the staff if we could switch to a pay-as-you-go setup, and while they eventually agreed, it wasn’t a smooth process. They also said that food and snacks had to stay on the tab, which made things confusing — some guests were paying as they went, others weren’t sure what was covered. It ended up feeling unnecessarily messy and a bit stressful — not the relaxed experience you want as the person hosting a birthday. Rocker still has great food and atmosphere, but I’d recommend double-checking all the booking details and expectations beforehand if you’re planning an event.

Food was amazing - the 'feed me' tasting menu was great. Plenty of food and a wide range of flavours. Wait staff could have been a bit more attentive and offered additional drinks when it was obvious. Overall a good meal with casual wait staff.

Great vibe, delicious, unique & well thought-out menu options, with stellar cocktails and amazing attentive staff. Great spot for a date, an event or just a catch-up. I always come back to Rocker!
