Everything was good. No complaints.
We have dined here a couple of times and the food has been very good every time.
I had the special- boneless pork chops Greek style. My husband had the 10 oz. Filet. All terrific!
Food was amazing. Service was great. Staff was friendly.
The service and food was very good. Did not especially enjoy sitting in the bar area when plenty of seating was available in the main dining area. The music was a bit distracting and sometimes made it difficult to hear our conversation. The price was a bit exorbitant and will probably discourage further dining.
The food was very good and our server was excellent. It was a nice restaurant for a small birthday dinner.
Everything is excellent all the way around! The food and service were great. To top it off I left my credit card behind inadvertently and the owner of the restaurant personally drove it to my hotel and handed it to me to make sure that it was safe. That is excellent customer service. I highly recommend.
Waitress rushed us entire time. Brought out dessert tray while some were still eating meal. Way overpriced for food served. Essentially paid $40 for soggy fish sticks. Won’t go back.
OK, not great, but very over priced.
Diane was our server! She was excellent. Food was ordered and came out quickly. Very tasty
Drinks were very nice too!
The service and food were amazing. My favorites were the stuffed mushrooms, lamb chops, bruschetta and lobster bisque. The steak and lobster were also delicious! Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Don’t forget to get a Moscow mule!
Food was good and so was our waitress! Will definitely go back again!!
I wouldn't recommend for dinner. The paloma was great. There were a lot of gnats and they actually landed on my bread and the lobster mac which I sent back. What I saw of the lobster mac it was more liquidy than creamy/cheesy.
The crab cakes were ok but did not taste like fresh crab. The NY strip was cooked well but mashed potatoes were swimming in au jus and were basically soup on my plate.
Speaking of soup, the cream of chicken was very bland and flavorless.
I'd return for the paloma but not for a meal.
Food was good but not what I was expecting.Drinks were well over priced and I will not be returning in the future.
My wife and I ordered steaks. They were both good but heavily salted.
The sides were OK.
When first opened everything was fantastic! Not so much now. Heirloom carrots were BOILED, the Octopus was swimming in oil, and my Chilean bass was under cooked. Not sure if it's due to short staffing, however $235 is way to much for this type of meal. It'll be a long while if we return.
Impeccable service and delicious food
Food was pretty good. My partner ordered a boneless rib-eye which was less than a 1/4" but it was cooked to temp. Was charged an extra $6 for toppings on his potato. I ordered a filet and it was thick & delicious. Service was slow but they were understaffed, so she did her best. Drinks were good but a little pricey. This was our 2nd time eating here & was disappointed that they had ruin the romantic ambiance near the fireplace with the installation of at least 7 or 8 poker machines. Would have been better served if they put a piano player or guitarist. Instead of the clank of those machines. But that was not to be per the owner, Nick. Oh well, we will try to go back with a group but no more intimate dinners. With this restaurant in our neighborhood, we would have been regulars.
We had an amazing meal. Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer, side salad, filet and baked potato. And then for dessert we had the tiramisu. Our water Ken was amazing and very attentive.
They couldn’t get my food right, first steak was burned, the 2nd one was bleeding. The manager wasn’t the nicest he threw the plate down and never returned. Worse birthday dinner ever.
Our waitress/bar star Heather was Amazing!!!
Very good stakes, made exactly to order. Great service.
We’ll be back.
Nice place . Food and drinks were good. Wait staff was excellent.
Had a busboy poor water on me and my phone got no compensation for it whatsoever, The busboy who soaked me was more polite than our waitress who in no way offered a towel or pointed out restrooms nor offered in anyway to compensate didn’t see a manager nothing considering my phone was drenched. Food was good, bathrooms were dirty, not worth paying as much as I did after that. Shame he was the only one who had manners.
Nice neighborhood restaurant. Great service and very good service. My steak was good although not quite as I requested. Brenda was our waitress and she was very good. I do recommend this place.
Nice experience but the Very expensive Tomahawk steak was full of fat and gristle. Mediterranean chicken had uncooked spots (didn’t realize until leftovers were taken out the next day). Great service and nice atmosphere. Food just not worth the prices.
Overall it was a really good experience. I had the bone in ribeye which was cooked and seasoned to perfection !!! Our server was great !!!
Our server was great and the food was very good. Had a wide variety of drinks to choose from. First time I’ve been there, but definitely not the last!
Friendly staff, ambiance and delicious food! Those sliders........ DIVINE!
The food and service were terrific ! A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion .
Anniversary dinner…. Great meal and fantastic service
The service was outstanding, I believe Diane is the young lady's name that served my table. When I come back, I will ask for her. Thank you.
The lamb chops and greek salad were delicious. To mush breading on the oyster Rocafella for me. Everyone loved the food overall. I have bragged about you all on facebook.
Rockefeller’s was OUTSTANDING. We took my parents, who rarely dine out, and they were throughly impressed. We had oysters Rockefeller, ahi tuna, filets, crab legs, French onion soup, tiramisu and carrot cake. Everything was cooked to perfection, had excellent flavor and was extremely fresh. Our server was very attentive, kind and gave great recommendations. We will definitely be back!
Everything was good!
Rockefeller’s is close to our home and we’re glad to have a great restaurant close by.
Christine was our server and she was fantastic!! Everyone enjoyed their meal and she gave great recommendations!!
Staff was extremely helpful, friendly, professional & Covid conscience. Server/bartender and hostess both wore mask. The cocktails were good and the server was there when we needed her but did not hover. The food was great. The homemade crab cakes were mostly crab which came with a mango salsa & red pepper aoli . The salsa had just the right kick along with the coolness of the mango. And the red pepper aoli was perfect accompaniment to the cakes. Then we had a house salad which was the perfect temperature & freshness. Very tasty. We also had the filet which was cooked to perfection, very juicy and flavorful with an extremely large hot baked potato. We went on the day after Labor Day and bar was empty so Covid prodigals or noise level was not an issue. We were celebrating our anniversary which the server gave us a complimentary tiramisu that was a very good ending to our beautiful dinner. There were a few people in the dining room which we didn't even notice. Will definitely go back.
This was the best dining experience we’ve had in a long time! Our steaks were perfect. The cocktails were spectacular, and the service was outstanding!
We would highly recommend Rockefeller’s, and will be back very soon!
Rockefeller’s is a welcomed addition to Oak Lawn. They have the best food and customer service in the area. I highly recommend getting the ribeye steak which is perfectly seasoned every time I have ordered it.
This is my 2nd time dining here because the 1st time I visited l, they served my husband old reheated, chicken that had an odor & was inedible! However, I believe in giving restaurants 2nd chances before posting reviews to redeem themselves. I had no problems with the restaurants when it was Louie's ChopHouse but when it switched to Rockefeller's the food quality changed.
I was there on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm. There were 3 customers in the entire restaurant including myself. I was seated in a corner table immediately upon entering after making an online reservation. I placed my order for an appetizer, (oyster Rockefeller) & it took 25 minutes for it to come out. After my appetizer, I waited on bread & salad, to arrive at the table, which took another 20 minutes to come out! By this time, I am looking around for my waiter & an empty dining room of 2 other customers wondering why is it taking so long in-between. My entree took over 20minutes to arrive. Although my food was plated nice & looked delicious from the human eye, I cut into my steak, which I requested be prepared "Medium" & it was cooked well done. I requested a loaded potatoe & all the trimmings were placed in a cup on the side of my potatoe. I immediately waved my waiter down & communicated this to him. He took my steak & assured me the cooks would prepare my steak over the way I requested. After another 15 minutes, my steak came back out RARE! Disgusted by this time, starving, in addition to waving off nets that were annoyingly flying in my face every 5 minutes & all over the table obviously having hatched in the restaurant, I was disappointed & requested to see the manager & made him aware of my food. I left without eating my entree & asked to be refunded. They offered me a slice of cake. I have not been pleased with Rockefeller's since changing over from Louie's ChopHouse. Service & food has weakened & there is no need for my family & I to return there again.
The food and service were excellent! We had the bruschetta, raw oysters, wedge salad, and the 10oz filet and garlic mashed potatoes. Let’s not forget the decadent carrot cake for dessert as well as a glass of riesling. We shared everything so we were able to enjoy a nice variety. This evening the owner Nick not only expedited the food out of the kitchen to ensure that every plate was customer worthy, but also insured once we had our meal that we were satisfied. If you haven’t tried Rockefeller’s, be sure to give it a try! 😋
