My husband and I dined at Rockefeller for Restaurant Week/my birthday (mentioned in our reservation). When we arrived, we asked for an outside table as it was too loud inside to speak to each other. We waited about 10 minutes for a table to be cleared and were seated with just the regular menu, not the Restaurant Week one. The table had not been set when we were seated, but the hostess said someone would be right out with water. Plates arrived, but we waited over 20 minutes for water and our drink order to be taken, which was only done after my husband went to the hostess stand and complained. (And this was after the restaurant contacted us the day before to let us know that we had a max 90-minute time limit at our table.) Not a single outside waitperson made eye contact with our table, though we tried. Pacing after that was ok, but the issue left a bad taste in our mouths. The signature oysters Rockefeller were dry little nuggets with a salty sauce overpowered by bacon, when we had hoped for plump, juicy specimens. Other dishes were much better, including the exceedingly fresh ceviche and the squid ink pasta with seafood. My husband's salmon with broccoli rabe on lobster mashed potatoes was the hit of the night. The cheesecake was much lighter than expected, and we appreciated that. We were happy to see that two glasses of wine had been comped when the bill arrived. Not sure this will entice us to come back, as there are too many great restaurants in the area to try.

I was insulted that I was called 2 days earlier by the restaurant to let me know that we had to be finished no later than 1 1/2 hours after our reservation time. Service was good but the server brought our dessert before we finished our main course. Again suggesting we eat and get out of there to make room for the next customer. The food was okay but we have had better meals elsewhere. We are in no hurry to return to that restaurant.

Once again - wonderful evening. Consistently outstanding from hostess staff, server staff & everyone else. Brought folks for their first time and they loved their experience. Food was excellent. After a few visits and enjoying consistently great food, service, and ambiance, this is a must try for anyone. Well done Rockefeller.

This was our first visit to Rockefeller; we will be back. Our server Briana was very personable and attentive. She made several menu recommendations. The menu is a little limited, unlike many restaurants that actually offer too many options. Their focus is on fish and shellfish.

The seafood is one step above inedible. The Rockefeller oysters come with some sweet cream sauce on them and are dusted with what can only be imitation parmasean cheese on top. I am sure this is done to cover up the taste of the low quality oysters. Salmon was overcooked and dry, mushrooms risotto was underdone and had the flavor of wet cardboard. Linguine was simply awful and even something as simple as a Ceasar salad was limp and depressingly awkward tasting as if they forgot some ingredients. What a total disaster of a "seafood" restaurant.

Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the time we stepped in the door we felt the top tier treatment.. We sat in a spacious booth and had Sierra as our server. Her reputation from other reviews really understates how fabulous she is. We ordered calamari, crab cake, salmon and scallops. Because of some dietary Sierra suggested some minor changes to the salmon so my wife could have it and she really enjoyed it. Everything ordered was excellent. The garlic bread and sautéed spinach sides were great also. The care Sierra took with us was outstanding. I would definitely recommend Rockefeller.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! We went last night to celebrate my birthday and we loved it. I forgot our server’s name ☹️but she was so sweet and fun and had great suggestions! I got the espresso martini & the vesper- probably my fav gin martini I’ve had before! Everything was amazing.
