   We chose this restaurant as it was just down the road from our holiday destination. We had a good Sunday lunch with a selection of vegetables cooked well. The vegetable Wellington was tasty, but my husband did say the beef was a bit stringy. The restaurant was very nicely decorated giving it a beach feel. Service was quick, but just wished the staff came with a smile. Overall the meal was a reasonable price.

   Complete lack of customer service, we had booked a table but found it ourself anyway as staff member walked away. We had to queue to order drinks even though we had a table and when asked to pay we had to then return to the back of a long queue to pay for the drinks. Either let people pay for drinks at the time of ordering or offer to pay at the table. Coffee took 20mins as there only seemed to be 2 staff working.

   Lovely venue in Sand Bay. Great food and seasonal dishes. Friendly staff.

   Really lovely place .. excellent food .. homemade chips & onion rings.. delicious.. big portions & a lovely walk down the bay in the sunshine… so peaceful

   The Sunday Roasts were very good plus there were plenty of other options. The food could have been hotter though. Waiting staff were very pleasant. The doggie dinner was a great idea.

   The room was just right, not too fussy, the staff both at dinner & breakfast were very good, helpful & polite and not over bearing or pushy which made for a very pleasant experience.

   We’ve visited before and have enjoyed the ambiance and food. This visit was the end to a weekend away … it was totally chaotic - we were seated they took our drinks order then we had to ask 20 minutes later for someone to take our food order . The place was fully booked with only 3 people serving. Queuing at the bar and just total chaos. When the food did arrive it was luke warm and we had to request condiments again after a long wait. So underwhelmed by the whole experience. I would like to stress that the staff are really lovely and working their socks off there simply is not enough of them We won’t recommend or return sadly

    Had an absolutely lovely Sunday lunch - everyone really enjoyed their meals, the veggies were particularly fantastic, and lots of gravy! Service was very friendly and the restaurant has a lovely beachy feel. We will be back!
